    Kriste Maintenance Service
Several years ago, we had a leaky bay window. Several roofers later (who couldn't figure out the problem), Geary found the leak and repaired it. In fact, he stayed late that day (working past dark) to install flashing around the chimney because rain was in the forecast. That's just one example...I have too many stories to count of Geary going the extra mile. On top of the quality of his work, Geary is a genuinely great guy who will care about you and your home. You will do no better than Kriste Maintenance Service.

It took longer than we thought. He was slow getting things done and had nobody helping him. He did most of the work he was supposed to do but it is the quality of his work that is awful. He installed the kitchen tiles directly onto the plywood floor which right away caused pops and cracking. The grout was spotty and breaking away in pieces even before he completed the job. The backroom he used backer board under the tiles and was to do the kitchen the same way but didn't and not sure why not. The wall where the new refrigerator is placed is unfinished and he did not trim the cabinet so it sets in the space well. The cabinet next to the refrigerator that has a piece of granite on it is not glued down and moves. The backsplash he installed had trowel scratches all over it. The trim pieces put back and the quarter round are battered from when removed and not primed, fixed or painted.

When confronted about the floor tile he made a bunch of excuses that we knew weren't right. In regards to the backsplash he claims we did it. He got very mean and insulting not anything like a professional business person should. We thought about having him come back and fix what was wrong but he was not admitting to anything being his fault. We then decided to get estimates to have things fixed and I emailed him giving him the opportunity to reimburse us for the poor job done and have heard nothing back. He puts the word integrity in all his advertisements but that is the one thing he does not have.

    CLASSIC DOORS INC
Ken and his team at Classic Doors are top notch.  I can't say enough great things about them.  The doors we ordered are better than I ever hoped for.  The amount of time and effort that is put forth not only during the making of the door itself, but the installation as well, far exceeds the norm.  I would recommend them to anyone - you won't be disappointed.

    Thanks Ken!!!

    Improving Homes 4 You
John and Nathan, (John is the owner) did a great job for us. One of my big peeves with contractors are those who do not communicate (i.e. not show for appt and do not call).  John is exactly the opposite.  Communication is EXCELLENT. They are not the cheapest, HOWEVER, their work is first rate and thorough. Also, they back up their work fully and any issues we had were corrected immediately and without question. We liked them so much, they are coming out in a few weeks to do exterior repairs and paint the house. We recommend them highly.

    One Call Home Team LLC
The whole experience was fantastic. From day one this company was responsive and good communication continued until the project was complete. The company representative Mr. Hall arrive on time and worked until dark.
Our home had issues, his work was very meticulous. He took great care in making sure that job was not only done well but to my standards too.
This is the forth house I have rehabbed. Typically I have to micromanage, but Mr, Hall took care of issues before I had to say a word. I  was very pleased.
Before leaving I asked him to quote me a price on the next job, one very large.

    NanaWall Systems
It took a bit for everything to get going, but that is because it was a new process for us.  I would recommend contacting the installer ahead of time, to help with measurements as you as the consumer will need to work with a contractor to get the area prepped for the installation.  This was a remodel, so new construction may be a bit different.

I would recommend NanaWall to anyone.  The product they provide is beyond anything you could envision.  Our house now opens flawlessly to our backyard area.  We couldn't be more pleased!

    Top to Bottom Home Repair
I based my selection of this company on one Angie's list review. They responded quickly to my original request for an estimate, came out to my house and measured for the work. At that time, I told them that I understood that I'm not their only customer, but would appreciate having this done as quickly as possible, it was very urgent. After that, it just didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. Several emails went back and forth trying to figure out what I wanted, which did not change from what I told them at their original visit. They seemed to be having trouble finding the type of door I wanted, for example. Then, several days later, the owner told me that he would have to come out and re-measure because the measurements from the original estimate didn't seem right to him. (very disconcerting to get this question so many days later, when I had told them it was urgent). Most communications from them were in response to my call or email, very little was proactive from them. They finally came out to do the work about a month after the original visit, partly because their responses had to be scheduled around their personal vacations. On the day when they came to do the work, I had to be at work myself and couldn't stay home, and couldn't watch the work. When I came home, they were gone, and I saw that the dog door was installed inside out (it was clearly shown on the instructions that came with the door). The garage window was horizontal, but they installed it vertically. When I got home, I called the owner to ask if he would correct these problems. He did send someone back the next day to fix it (which I was glad that he was agreeable to that, but it required me to miss more work). We decided to leave the dog door inside out as is (I was afraid that it would not seal firmly if we took it out and put it back in the other way), but they fixed the window. Although the window is now horizontal, there is a visible patch from where the hole had been cut vertically.
After this was done (and they were paid in full), I discovered another problem -- a phone line running next to one of the door jambs they were working on had been cut, which was confirmed by ATand T. To repair it would require ATand T to cut a hole in my floor, which I didn't want to do. The owner of Top to Bottom ignored my communications about this issue. So now I am missing what used to be my primary phone in the house.
The inside doors were bare wood, so I needed to paint them, which I did a few weeks later. They are Dutch doors (split in half, top and bottom). On one of the doors, they glued a piece of cardboard into the opening as a shim, so that the door would match up without a big gap. They put the latching hardware in the wrong place on one of the doors, changed it, and the patching on the door is clearly visible, even after painting. Since I didn't discover the door issues until several weeks later, and the owner failed to reply to my attempts to contact him about the phone line, I didn't even bother trying to contact them about this. Overall, it was a very mediocre experience.

    Absolute Decks & More
Mr. Riggins was absolutely awesome!....I would highly recommend his services. The price was, by far, the most reasonable from the quotes that we got. The whole process took roughly 5 days and his professionalism was second to none! Truly outstanding work!

    We received his quote, which seem slightly on the high side.  At this point, I was willing to pay a little more to finish the job  with no more headaches.  We had two other quotes, one lower and one higher.  We elected to use Mr. Hall because of a number of people that we knew personally that recommended him.   He has not disappointed us!  There were several phases to complete the job. We always knew who was coming, when they would be here and how  long it would  take them to finish their portion of the work..  David arrived with each sub contractor before they began their work.  He went over everything that had to be done and checked up on them frequently to make certain they were on track.  David  communicated status information to us frequently by phone and e-mail. The finished product met or exceeded our expectations.   We will use him again;
