    Advanced Heating and Air
    Pressure switch was bad on our furnace and this caused us to lose heat in our house. We are under home warranty, and Advanced was the only local company used by the warranty insurance. The technician came out to the house and I explained what the problem was, the technician was very condescending to me, (I do understand this as most homeowners do not understand their system). He finally acknowledged that the pressure switch was bad. I was told that the home warranty company would have to order the part. The home warranty folks were very helpful and stated they would approve the order as soon as it was received, but Advanced would order the part. They told me this would happen within the hour. 
    More than 2 hours later, I called to check on the status of the part order and was told that the invoice was not sent to the home warranty company as of yet. The time is now 12:30, I have no heat in the house despite being assured by the technician that his temporary repairs would hold until the part was replaced (I explained that this would not be the case, but was again dismissed). 
    I called the office and was told by Michael the invoice had not been received by the technician in the field as of yet (which is really humorous as I got the invoice from the technician within 5 minutes of his visit). I am a former business owner and i can assure you that i would have gone out of business if I tread my customers the way I was treated today. The day is wearing on, no results, no heat, and I can only say I am very disappointed in the lack of response by this local company.
    By the way, going down to 30 degrees tonight:)
    The home warranty company has been great, and have been pressuring them to make the repair. I would never recommend Advanced to anyone.

    I've used Foothills Mechanical for several years to repair my central Heat and AC system... always a great experience. 
    This year, after repeated failures of the system, I decided to replace the whole system, inside and out.   After consulting with Foothills technicians and the owner, I selected an efficient Rheem 2.5 ton unit to be installed.  We set an installation date, the technicians arrived early, worked hard, and had the unit up and cooling by mid-afternoon. No problems with the installation.  Good work by these folks as I expected.... at a good price !
    I've waited 2 months to complete this review to see if anything went wrong.  As I expected, the new unit purrs like a big cat day and night, no problems at all !
    Foothills Mechanical are good people who do good reliable work.... the best I've ever had.  You won't go wrong with Foothills Mechanical.
    (I notice all the other customer reviews for this company are missing - something is amiss since I did one myself about a year ago!)

    Our a/c unit was cooling but would not turn off or in some areas "on" when one of the zones was changed at the thermostat.  First of all let me say, they advertise emergency service.  Don't count on that.  I called left a message and also left a request for service online (after hours).  No call back at all during the weekend. The technician finally came out and diagnosed the problem but needed to order the part.  He acted like he wasn't sure if the part he wanted to replace was the actual problem.  I did not hear from him for 2 days so I called and asked about the repair and how much it would cost.  After being placed on hold for a lengthy time, the lady that I was talking to said she would call me back in a few minutes.  She never did call me.  This same thing happened everytime I called (approx. 5 times) over a two week time frame.  After telling them that I wasn't happy with them putting me off and not doing what they said they would do, I told them to forget it and that I was going to write the appropriate review of their service online.  Guess what!!  they called me back immediately and wanted to give me an estimate.  Sorry, but I cannot recommend this company.  Too many others out there that value their customers and have excellent customer service.

    Gary was right on time for both visits. On the first visit he refilled the R22 freon and got us cool again. It took a couple of weeks to get the new coil since it was a special order. All work was neat and professional.

    Merritt installed a new HVAC.  He also installed an HVAC cage to prevent further theft. I was out of town, so we had to do this over the phone. He installed the HVAC and sent me photos of the completed work. Great job.

    Had called Mr. Hafer, owner,  a week before this replacement.  He came out, checked the unit, added refrigerant.  He performed several tests and determined the coil was leaking.   Mr. Hafer took the time to perform the tests I expected to determine the coil was leaking, not just a guess.
    He ordered a new unit and we scheduled the appointment for replacement.
    One of his technicians, a personable young man, came out on time and replaced the unit.
    He told me what he was doing, kept me apprised of his progress, and got the job done in good order.  He took time to discuss the unit and its operation with me.
    Expect good work at a fair price from this company.

    They are a heating and AC company. They had their engineers out here and they knew what they were doing. They came out, looked at the job, did an estimate and then brought an engineer out to design it. The installers then came out to put it in. They did an excellent job at each stage. They were very prompt. They were here when they told me that they were going to be here. They didn?t leave a mess. I didn?t have any problems at all with the scheduling. I would certainly use their services in the future too.

    AC Plus came out and looked at the unit which I had had problems with before and a friend had helped me fix. The unit was 15+ yrs old and the heat exchanger was going bad already then the A/C condenser sprung a leak. They quoted me a new unit, but I ask them to check and see if they could find a used one since this is a rental property and I didn't want to spend 4K to fix it. They called me back several hours later and said they had a used unit in stock and they could give me a yr warranty on it since was only used for a couple of yrs. They came out and replaced the unit within 3 days of my initial call, and it's been working great since that time. Other companies I had called only wanted to sell me a new unit and didn't even want to talk about something used even though I was willing to take a chance. The only complaint was that my tenant said one of the neighbors overheard the Technicians arguing while they were working outside, but I'm sure it was probably just a routine conflict of ideas on the job, and it doesn't bother me a bit.

    I called on Sunday and left a message. First thing Monday morning the owner called me back and arrived at my house within 30mins. He replace the start capacitor and added a very small amount of coolant which got it running again. He was probably there about 30mins overall. I have rental property and manage a building where I work and have dealt with many A/C problems and really expect them to try and sell me a whole new unit, but not TennAir. The owner seemed more interested in getting my 13+ yr old unit running than trying to make money off the sale of a whole new unit! I was very satisfied with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

    The technician rescheduled appt. 2-3 times, sometimes just not showing up when scheduled. He left work unfinished when he did show up and I believe the damage done to one of the heat pumps was actually caused by technician. At one appt., the technician spent more time on the telephone than servicing the heat pump, embroiled in an argument with someone.
