    We recently moved and my movers had set up the billard table frame and slate. They were not experienced with doing a billards table install so I had Bluegrass Billards and Woodwork finish the job by leveling the table and getting the felt back on. I was glad to have professionals finish the install. They knew what needed to be done and did a fantastic job. During the install they corrected some things the movers had done when doing the initial setup. I would definitely call them again if I need to move the table or replace the felt.

    The classroom is in a location where there is inadequate parking.  Parents picking up their children must form a line in the adjacent street and many times are blocking traffic.  Spanky is a very unprofessional businessman.  He has a reputation of being rude to students in the class and unreasonable to parents complaints.  My son completed the classroom portion of the course and was told to get experience 50 hours of driving experience with his parents.  Only after having the 50 hours of driving experience was he able to schedule his driving portion of the course on a on-line website.  This proved nearly impossible.  To complicate things, one of Spanky's driving instructors was out due to medical reasons.  We attempted to schedule the driving for my son, only to find all of the slots were taken.  After repeated attempts, we called and spoke to Spanky who seemed to want to lecture us on how easy it is to book a driving slot. One of the problems is that all driving slots become available at 6PM on Thursdays.  Spanky stated that we needed to be waiting on our computers promptly at 6PM every Thursday - we were not informed of this earlier.  However, it still didn't make a difference and we were not able to schedule driving time over many months.  It makes no sense to fight with all of the other parents and students to schedule driving times on a website!  We pulled our son out of his driving academy and are sending him to another course that integrates the classroom and driving courses.  Spanky's expectations are simply ridiculous. This business model is broken.

    Derek is not only incredibly creative and great artist, but he's incredibly quick and responsive.  I was so impressed with how quickly Derek worked to create our logo and even more impressed that we had our ideal design with only two concept drawings.  Derek took feedback on the first concept drawing and created the most beautiful and spot on logo.  Derek also focused in on the specific level of detail we asked for in the font, colors and the layouts for the letterhead and business cards. 

    Our logo is unique, elegant and beautiful.  It's everything I had hoped it would be.  Derek was also so reasonable in his fees that we gave him a bonus for all his great work.

    We use them because we have to. They are always there to answer the phone, they just don't get it right. I have had to call back multiple times, spending hours on the phone. That is true of billing, service and sales. It is a customer service issue. I feel they need to train their people better.

    This was not our first experience with a moving company.  We had moved cross-country during a work re-location and used a larger company.
    During the quote process the company worked with us to get an accurate quote and manage our expectations.  This was a positive experience.
    On the day of the move, the movers were late (2 movers and 1 truck were sent) - they were delayed on a morning move.  The movers did contact us and let us know they would be arriving late; assuring us that there would be no impact on the move.  
    The move did not go well, we had damage to the house (s
    heet rock issues), several pieces of furniture were scratched, our king size bed headboard was dropped creating an 8inch gouge/splinter, the footboard was chipped, our leather couch was damaged (several places the leather was rubbed off and several puncture holes were found during unload), our dining room table had a gouge and our washer was dropped (denting it from the inside out where the drum hit the skin and there was denting where it hit the sidewalk and the glass door was chipped/cracked).  We brought this to the attention of the lead mover; he did acknowledge the damage and was already in touch with the main office.  After  the truck was nearly loaded we were told their was not enough room on the truck, in addition it had started raining which caused a halt.  The next morning they unloaded the truck but could not finish our move due to another scheduled job.  The lead mover offered to come back and help once his day was completed; due to time restraints on our part we did not take him up on the offer.   There were no options given to us by the company at that time to complete the move (during our talks with management after the move they told us this was not their policy and an option should have been provided).  To complete the move we rented a truck and hired help in addition to enlisting some family members to complete the move.  
    We had a 10x30, and 2 10x10's - during the offload they filled our 10x30 and we had to upgrade 1 10x10 to a 10x20 to handle the other items not moved.  This was because the 10x30 was packed inefficiently.
    We contacted the Leaders office on Monday and were in contact with them several times over the next several weeks.  All the personnel we dealt with were appalled by the results of our move.  They reduced the cost to the $500; accounting for items not moved that were in the contract.  They offered to send another crew out and repack our 10x30 which was filled during the offload.  We took them up on the offer, the crew (which was a different crew) that met us for the re-pack was professional and also appalled that our move had been such a disaster.  During the unpacking of the unit they let us inspect the furniture and in some cases pointed out potential damage.  They re-packed the unit efficiently and quickly leaving us about 20% more space. 
    We did not use them when moving from storage to our new home (see below for more detail). They did stand by their word; our bed was repaired - in this case there was no way to restore this anywhere close to its original condition - however the repair was done well, our couch was repaired - without knowing exactly where the damage occurred you could not see the damaged areas (including punctures), our dining room table was repaired where it had been gouged, they reimbursed us for work done on the house to repair sheet rock and spot paint, we got an estimate to repair the washer which was more than the original cost - they reimbursed us a depreciated value of the washer (based on an insurance schedule) and they took into consideration misc damage to other items.
    In summary, because of the repacking we seriously considered giving them another chance.  Although, the moving experience had much to be desired the movers that repacked our storage, management and claims people we dealt with were all professional and seemed to care about making this right.

    Not only does Kent keep my piano sounding great, he also keeps an eye out for the extra kinds of maintenance things that will help my piano have a long, healthy life.  Several years ago when my son was at the age where he was trying to quit lessons Kent worked on the action to give the piano a softer touch, and voila!  About half of the battles over playing disappeared.  I've had several piano techs in the 25 years I have owned my piano and Kent is the best, by far.  He offers an discount if you sign up for a regular piano tuning schedule.

    EXPERT LAMP REPAIR
    I can't say enough glowing words about Harold. He repaired my two favorite antique lamps which I thought no one could do. They were done in one week! He cleaned them and made them look better than when I dropped them off for repair. His rates are very reasonable and more than fair. And best of all, he is a blast to talk to. There aren't many like him left, and I would shout from the rooftops how great he is at lamp repair (and what a nice man he is as well).
