    Cool Springs EyeCare
The doctors at Cool Spring Eye are very good. However, the technical staff is not very good on ordering contacts and returning calls. The communication for contact orders once you leave the facility is very bad. I have had them forget to place an order. It might be easier if you can purchase your contact somewhere else to do so. They seem overwhelmed.

    Berry Farms EyeCare
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Berry Farms Eye Care. Dr Crim and her staff made us feel welcome and like part of a family. My daughter has an unusual prescription and Dr Crim spent extra time making sure her prescription was just right. It was easy to make an appointment and we went straight back upon arrival. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience. The new office is beautiful and also conveniently located. I would highly recommend Dr. Crim.

    Martin Eyecare

Service, professionalism, courtesy were all excellent. I will almost certainly return, as I have confidence in the quality of service and willingness to give advice I requested on contact types. They don't have a huge selection of glasses frames, but what they have, I like, generally better than the big chain stores. It's also a far more relaxing experience going to Martin than going to a mall or big chain store. They provide a comfortable place to sit and relax, watch TV or read magazines while you wait, if you have to wait. I don't think I had to wait more than 5 minutes for my scheduled eye exam, and once they took me back, they were quick but very available to field my questions.

I needed new contacts, which I use exclusively for snow skiing. My eyes are very easily irritated and dry out very quickly. Dr Martin listened to my complaints about my eyes, my explanation of my needs for comfort in intermittent use in very dry conditions, and steered me to a contact lens that has been outstanding - exactly what I needed.

My only two criticisms: 1) office hours are very limited, and it's difficult for me to get there during their business hours. This is the only reason I would go anyplace else - it's just too hard to get there when they're open. 2) in the winter, they run a gas fireplace in the lobby. It's very cozy and inviting, but it gets uncomfortably hot, and I don't believe it's vented. I don't like the heat and fumes.

I would still highly recommend Martin, and I will continue doing business there as long as I can get away from work in time to get to their office.

    Dr Jarrod Peace OD
My experience with him was great. He and his staff are all very friendly and professional. Their office is very nice. They have a large selection of eyeglasses. You see them quick. They were on time. The staff are great.

    Jones, Dr. William L.
When I arrived, I had to wait about 10 minutes.  The assistant took me into an exam room and put me through a few eye tests on some very high tech machines.  I then met with the doctor, who ran a few more tests and examined my eyes.  He then went through the tests in detail with me so that I understood my situation.  He has the ability to create digital images that create a baseline for future visits.  Most of the charges were covered by my insurance.  When I was done, the optician helped me pick out glasses that were in my price range, had the features that I needed, and worked well within my insurance coverage.  They look great and really improved my ability to see.

Dr. Morton D. Thomas and Associates
I looked on Angie's List for a new provider in optometry and chose this one based on recommendations. My old provider had increasingly testy "bedside" manner. I was in on time, staff was very professional, Dr. Walls answered all my questions, and I was very pleased.

    Shen, Dr. David
Dr Shen has convenient location and hours for us, in Franklin. He did a thorough exam and explained everything as he went along. I felt very comfortable during the exam and appreciated his advice on eye health and eye care.

    Shen, Dr. David
I have used Dr. Shen since he was a resident at Vanderbilt when I first met him. When he came out in private practice I followed him and have been using him ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Shen. I see him every year.

Dr. Morton D. Thomas and Associates
I saw a doctor in Florida, but have recently moved to this area. Dr. Thomas examined my eyes. I have been having some trouble with the contacts I have been wearing. Dr. Thomas assured me that he would take care of those problems, and he did! I felt like he listened! He did a great job finding contacts that I can see better than I have in years!

    Bounds, Dr. Inez
She's been my doctor for 18 years, and she's fantastic! She's courteous and fast. They're not easy to get into because they're ophthalmologist, but she's awesome and quick. You never have to wait. Her staff is exceptional. Actually, she have the same staff for the last 25 years, and that's a good indicator.
