The remote has been very nice. I can arm and disarm the system from outside and it has a panic button in case I need help

I can push a panic button and then they can talk to me through a speaker in the keypad. It will also call my neighbor and family to let them know I need help

We hadn't used in a long time, but wanted to reactivate the alarm. He showed us how to use it and set up new codes for us

    First Detect Security
He tested the alarm and found out that our motion sensor wasn't working. He also suggested we add a door sensor to a door that was unprotected. I thought there would be a charge, but he did the upgrades for free

We have had the service for a very long time. We didn't know who to call. We found Ken who was local and didn't charge anything for the repairs

By far the best alarm system I have ever dealt with. I installed it myself but ordered it through this company. It was easy to install and the cost was reasonable. Any questions I did have while installing their customer service was excellent.

I installed it myself and it’s very easy to do. If you do need help they are unfailingly courteous and go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of.

My experience has been excellent.   To have a good experience, you need to follow the instructions to get all of your disarm codes and individual codes chosen and written on the simple 8X10 user set up worksheet before you call the installation desk.  Installation:  After you've selected and written down your codes,  call the 800 number as instructed and a very well trained installation professional will walk you through the next step of the dreaded 'installation'.  I think its not quite accurate to call it an 'installation'.  If you can mount a tiny, sticky tape backed sensor and even smaller activator on door and window jambs within one inch of each other when the door or  window is closed,  you can easily install this system.  It really was 'peel and stick' to install all of the hardware.  Rather than an 'installation', it was more like sticking decals on  each door and window frame.    Final Programming, testing,  and setup:   Simple,  call the 800 number again and they walk you through it.   The instructions are precise and the Rep helping you will do all the hard stuff (determining which menu tree,  how to test,   set up names of the verbal announcements, etc).  You just have to push the buttons you're told to. Recommendation:   When you call for the final programming, testing, and set up, try to have a wireless phone to make the call as you will have to individually open each door and window to test the sensors.    Added bonus:   as I was installing the system,  the speaker came on and, after two beeps,  a voice said "Garage Door Open".   My daughter had just gone out the garage door.   I   REALLY like this set up as a verbal announcement tells you exactly which door or window is opened, even when the alarm is disarmed.    It may have already prevented a disaster from happening as I was in the living room and heard "POOL OPEN"    I looked out and my 6 year old twins had figured out how to stand on one of their toys to unlatch the newly installed  "child proof " gate and were heading in to retrieve a ball they had kicked over the fence into the deep end of the pool. Without the system, I would have not been able to intercede before something really bad happened. Another added bonus:  The unit contains a battery back up internally so the system remains active even in a power outage.

The installation of the product was very easy and simple.  The cost of the alarm system was comparable to everyone else but the overall price for the monitoring was better than everyone else.  I like the fact no contract is required and it works wireless off the cell phone towers.  This way I did not have to have a landline put in and it provides the necessary security I need.  Thanks again Simplisafe.

Arrived promptly when they said they would to install our new security system. Techs were professional and courteous. They installed two door monitors and gave us the option to use double sided tape or to have them drilled in, as some people prefer the tape. Installed the motion detector and tested it thoroughly to make sure it would not go off because of our pets and that it would detect at various points of the living room. Offered to install a smoke detector for an additional charge per month, which I accepted. Thoroughly tested the system to make sure everything was working properly, explained how the system worked and made sure both members of the household had armed and disarmed the alarm before they left so we knew how to use it. The motion detector gave a little bit of trouble as it was learning the room, but they called support and stayed until they were able to test it completely. Allows you to choose the day of the month you would like your account to be charged, I opted not to and was charged a month after it was installed.  I have just completed my first month of service, at first there was a silent alarm that went off when the system was inactive for a certain period of time. They called at 2 a.m. the first night and again at about 9 a.m. However, they were able to quickly tell me which setting was prompting the alarm and how to change it. I am very pleased with my service so far, I have had no alarms yet but it makes me feel safe.
