  • It was not good at all. They sent out high school kids to plant the plants. We wound up with a real fight with the person who was in charge and wound up paying him less than what we had contracted for because the job was such a mess. We wound up paying about 12000. First of all, they didn't plant the plants in the ground properly. They set them basically on top of the ground and put dirt up around them. It was just a poorly supervised job all around. The guy that was in charge was hardly ever there to supervise it so the high school kids didn't know what to do. They were just kind of going by his instructions which didn't fulfill the obligation of the contract. The pricing was reasonable. We had stuff dying after it was planted so we had to go in there and spend more money just to replant a lot of that stuff.

  • They did a good job. The owner, Mr. Wright, is a very nice gentleman. He is very professional. He dropped the crew off. We reviewed the work scope and everything and then we shook hands and said goodbye. It was a deal. They had two guys that worked two hours apiece. It was just manual labor to clean up a bunch of leaves and a bunch of debris in the back. I was getting ready to bring in a bunch of mulch and lay it down and I wanted the area cleaned out. The workers were very good. They were a couple of good guys. They actually did a little bit of extra work for me because they got the work scope done before Mr. Wright was coming back to pick them up. They said, "Is there anything else you want us to do? We can run our blowers over all these fallen leaves where you've already mulched down." I said, "Can you do that without blowing all the mulch around?" They said, "Oh yeah." So they cleaned up a big area. They picked up sticks and did some stuff that wasn't even on the work scope. They just had some time, like 45 minutes, before their driver was coming back to get them because he had just dropped off the trailer with their equipment. He left with his truck to go to some other work and said he'd be back in a couple of hours. When he came back, we were all done waiting on him. It all worked out well. I would use them again if I needed them. They were running a special. So the price was good. The quality was very good. They had their own equipment. They didn't waste any time fiddling with their equipment. They were familiar with it. They used it properly. They followed the instructions well. They knew exactly what I wanted to do. They showed up on time. They were very professional and very courteous. They were a good bunch of Hispanic guys, just doing manual labor work. It's kind of a start-up business I think with him. He hasn't had it very long. I'm sure he has screened his people very carefully.

  • What a job!!  They gave a quote, gave a time, then they did way more than they we asked or expected to do.  They pulled weeds where necessary, pulled the mulch away from the trees where necessary, and installed 8 yards of mulch in one day.  They cleaned after themselves and left no mulch where it was not supposed to be,  They even left at least a yard of mulch in excess so my wife could put it around some crepe myrtles.  Excellent Job, excellent people, enjoyed having them on our property.

  • Well, its a simple job isn't it...cutting the grass?  Yes, except it keep raining and raining and raining to the point I thought we would have to have the grass baled.  They were at least a week late getting started because of the rain.  We were were on vacation when they did the work and I did not see what they did with the grass clippings.  All I can say is the clippings were not on the lawn when we got back...not anywhere that I could find.  They must have taken them with them.  The yard looks like they swept the grass off the the lawn.  And we have at lease two acres of lawn.  Not only that, they edged exactly as needed everywhere.   Around the concrete for sure, but also they cut and edged inside the swimming pool fence, and around the block barriers on the edge of the flower beds.  I normally cut my own grass, but they did a much better job than I have ever done. Again, I will never worry when they are on my property.  Simply a job well done!

  • They're very personable. They're prompt. They call before they come. You can actually pay a year in advance and they give you a discount. They come out and they look at your lawn to determine what it needs before. They just don't premix stuff and put it down.

  • .The overall experience was excellent. Contacted Elsa on a Tuesday. She came out later that afternoon, I showed her what I wanted done & got an estimate from her. Due to weather, we agreed for her to start work either Friday or Saturday. She would call to confirm.
Confirmed to start Saturday about 8am. She & Salvador showed up on schedule, unloaded their trailer and began to work. And work they did!! Steady pace for six hours with no break ! Great job, really got the place cleaned up & looking good.
This is the first time I have ever hired help for yard work. Have lived here 35 years & have always done it myself & am pretty particular about how it's done. Elsa & Salvador exceeded my expectation. They are very pleasant people, conscientious and willing. After they had finished, we enjoyed a late lunch together & had a nice chat. While Elsa billed me for $250, I added another $50 to it. She had hit a partially buried hickory root , that I neglected to point out to her earlier, and suffered some damage to her (new) mower. Felt bad about that.
Bottom line .... will use them again & highly recommend them

  • We called for an estimate and spoke with a real person.  Mike came to our residence a day later and provided an itemized estimate for a defined scope of the work.  We agreed to proceed.  Mike asked that their insurance carrier Email a copy of their coverage for our job.  He monitored the weather and within a few days called to suggest a 2.5 day span for the work.  (Ideally, temps in the 50-60F, no wind, and no rain are needed for the effort.)  The work was completed as planned.  For future work, we now realize that we do not even need to be home for the performance of the effort-- unless we want to watch with fascination how smoothly the process proceeds!  We paid Mike at the conclusion of the last day's work.  He takes checks or credit cards.  We highly recommend Sanders Tree!

  • Everything I hired Mr. Little to do was done perfectly!  His price was very reasonable for the amount of work he performed in my gardens and I'd be more than happy to recommend him to anyone.  I plan to use him for many jobs in the future!!!  Call him for any handyman job you might have...Mr. Little can do just about any job you need to have done and he works hard and quickly to please you!!
