    Tail and brake light s supposed to be fixed and they didn't do it. I had lights and signal before I brought it down there. Constant excuses of why other work was not done either somebody quit or didn't show up for work.

    They performed the work within one day, for the exact quoted price (which was about half what the dealer wanted for the same job), called when they were through.  Good work done--the new clutch is performing perfectly.

    i became stranded with my son on I-95 s between Virginia and North Carolina ,when my radiator blew. I only had one phone number and it was for Lynn Hope towing. I called, explained the situation. There were no off ramps for about 3 miles or more AND i only had $100.00!  He said he would send a rollback there as soon as he got a truck freed up. It may be 5-6 hrs but he would tow me all the way home and i could make payments to pay off the $ 350.00 tow bill. I was shock that a tow business would take payments and he said in extreme situations he sometimes does! And instead of a 5-6 hr wait he was there in 4 hrs 15 mins. I was towed all the way home and the driver stopped along the way at a fast food place so my son and i could get a bite to eat.

    Brian looked at my suspension, and noticed the only problem were worn or missing bushings.  He obtained the needed parts in less than an hour, and completed the repairs immediately.  Fast and quality repairs with no other issues since.  Happy to see Brian again for future repair service.

    They're very honest. Very honest people. They explain everything to you and I feel like I don't get any different treatment because I'm a woman. They're not talking to me like I don't understand anything but they seem to show me the same level of respect. Very friendly. I really enjoy going there.

    After a horrible day, this was a smooth transaction.  They could tell I was frustrated and upset.  They were very kind and calmed me down.  They were very professional and treated me with respect.  I highly recommend them especially if you are a woman!!!

    I called the store and asked them if they had a rotor for a 2003 Honda.  They told me yes and gave me a price for it.  So, I got in my car and drove the 20+ to the store to pick it up.  When I got to the store, I told them what I was there for the part that I had called about.  They treated me like I was an idiot.  They said that I had called the wrong store and that I did not know what I was talking about.  The manager proceeded to tell me that I didn't know what part I was looking for and that I had not talked to anyone at their store.  I pulled my phone out and read off the number and he said that was their number, but I did not talk to them.  He then proceeded to tell me "honey you don't know what you are talking about, maybe you should have your husband come back to get the part".  I then told him that just because I was a women that did not mean I did not know how to work on a car.  I have installed the short throw shifter, the exhaust system, cold air kit and the modified intake on my mustang so I think I might know how to work on a car.  He just laughed at me and walked away.  I left and went to O'Reilly's and got the part that I needed with a lot more respect and friendlier service.  I would not recommend this store unless you are a man!!!

    I have purchased several sets of tires from Porters over the years and have found them to be the least expensive for the same products offered at other dealers. Service has always been professional and I have never experienced any bad service or product.

    Dropped my car off on a Monday morning. Service King said my car would be ready by 6:00PM on Wednesday.
    I called Wednesday evening...Not ready..but will be on Thursday.
    Called Thursday.  NOT READY but will be ready Friday.
    Service King dropped my car off to me Friday evening.
    Repairs were NOT COMPLETE and the repairs that were preformed was NOT GOOD!
    Returned it on the following Monday.  TWO WEEKS LATER....dropped off to me with over-spray on the windows and some of the repairs STILL NOT COMPLETED!
    Very poor quality of work.
    Poor communication.
    Three day repair taking 3 WEEKS and still not right!

    Initially promised the work would be completed in 3 weeks for $3500.  Through their own ordering errors, not following up with orders and other delays (like waiting until the day prior to completion and shop then trying to drill out a bolt that broke 5 weeks earlier when they removed the engine from the car), the car was not delivered until 6.5 weeks later and shop tried to charge me an extra $1000 for work.  When I questioned the Shop Manager, Brandon, about the extra $1000 charge he said it was due to new parts (pistons, connecting rods) being installed...that's the purpose of rebuilding the engine.  Shop manager 'stretched the truth' on several occasions about work being performed and what was actually happening to car...one example, after the motor was put back together and running, I asked what oil was in the motor...break-in oil or the final Mobil 1 synthetic oil...Brandon told me at first it was Mobil 1, then after a few seconds he added "and break-in oil" to response...so what's in the engine, Mobil 1 synthetic or specific break-in oil?  I don't know.
    There are many more examples of shady responses and 'extra' parts or work required to get the car back running and on the road, but I would definitely not recommend this shop for any mechanical work.
