    Being a nurse I'm taught to be objective, but I've had a terrible experience and have been on the internet and have seen where other people have had similar experiences and if there's someone out there that's looking to buy a boat or buy an RV from these people and are going to spend $200,000 they need to know what they're getting into. I bought it site unseen just from their advertisement on the internet and had called and talked to the sales manager and we literally made a deal over the phone. I told him that I had cash money and wanted to come pick it up and they told me it was ready to go. I got there and we went to the service department and it's in pieces. They have the vinyl floor tore up and the doors tore off. It was an absolute mess. The safety lights were broke and the list just goes on and on and deficiency after deficiency was being listed after they told me it was ready to go. It's a 20 minute drive for me and I had to have my son take me to do the lifting to hook this trailer up, so I had to inconvenience him. When I got there I'm truly disgusted because I made a deal over the phone and I'm a person who thinks your word is your bond. I told them that I was going to buy it, but it has to be safe and they told me it would be fixed when I came back. They said Saturday the 16th would be okay and I said sure and my son was available on Friday. It was a Monday when I went there the first time and it was in shambles, so I gave them $100 to secure the contract and secure the deal. I signed the paperwork, but they were so confused and so disorganized between the finance department, the sales department, and the service department and there is a complete disconnect between all three. Nobody knows what each other is doing and so they put it in writing and guaranteed me that they're going to have everything fixed and it's going to be up to industry standards. They probably have on their lot $20 million worth of RVs and I'm talking diesel pushers and those things you see country music stars in and brand spanking new ones, so you would expect Cadillac service. I called them Friday and asked if it was ready because we could actually come down there and they told us absolutely and that it was ready to go. I get there and my son pulls around the back and they are washing it. I go in and they take us back there and sure enough the flooring is down and they told me they fixed the floor, but all trailers are a little spongy and it's a 2004 model and I could understand. Well, I go through this thing and there's not a salesperson out there to show me. They tell you that their going to take you through every system and show you how everything works and everything goes through a 120 point check. It was like pulling teeth because he didn't know how to operate things and thank goodness for the service manager who was a friend of my wife and a family member who came out there and said I'll help you. He answered our questions about the heating and cooling and everything. We found out when we went to the command center that the black water tank is full and the grey water tank is half full. It was disgusting and rather than saying let us take this down here and clean it up and empty these things they told us that we could take it down there and empty it. The propane tanks weren't filled up like they promised they would be, so at this point my wife is so frustrated. The work was done and completed and we're just happy to get it home and just get out of there. We get it hooked up and get down to the dumping station and it is the most disgusting smell I've ever smelled. It was terrible, but we get it cleaned up and get it home and we realized we're missing an adapter that we weren't told about. We thought that we would just run the trailer's heat off of 12V batteries because it was going to be cold that night. Well they were dead and we couldn't get the command center to work, so we have a voltage tester because my son is an electrician and he tested the battery. He tested it and it was dead, so we ran down and got an adapter and evidently nobody tested it. I asked my son to crawl underneath the thing and tell me what he sees in regards to where they  fixed the floor and he gets under there and there's a protected mat underneath there where they supposed to have fixed it and it's just pieces shoved underneath the subfloor, so I'm pretty distraught and upset at this point. We go and get a new battery and hooked it up and got the 12V system running and then found out the black water tank is only half empty because it solidified up in there and we didn't know how to wash it, which was one of those things we were supposed to be taught how to do. I called them back to talk to my salesperson because I wanted to know if they checked the charger because that's what charges the battery so it doesn't go dead and when you pay $150 for a battery you don't want that. They said they'll call me back and no one ever did. Mike Ingram was my salesperson and was the one person who treated me right and never promised nothing that he didn't keep. Now no sooner then I get off the phone that I got another call from the accounting department who said they didn't charge me the sales tax and I had to come back down there because by law they are supposed to collect a sales tax. They asked when I could come down and I told them I didn't know and asked them why I couldn't go to the courthouse and they said by law they are supposed to take it and could get in trouble and this has been the whole story about this whole issue. You cannot get a hold of any of the people that are in positions of authority. They have no way of you getting to the boss. You only deal with sales managers and can't get to the owners or the managers that run the company and that should be a red flag to anybody who wants to do business with this company. My plus here is that I've got a family full of carpenters and my son is an electrician and they went through this thing since then and said that they could fix what wasn't fixed, but that's not the point because I bought it from them and it was supposed to be ready to go and it wasn't. Now when I get on the internet and I bring up their name I'm just seeing all of these terrible, terrible, stories and since then I have written a statement to the Better Business Bureau and have actually sent them a huge three page letter and they have a thing on their internet site where you can go if you have an issue or a complaint and I wrote something there and still haven't heard from them. I'm just trying to warn people because I don't want anybody to have the same experience. My grand-kids were all excited and came over here and saw that big travel trailer and asked were they going to go camping. We have a heater on it now so we could camp in the winter or summer and they're excited. The men of the family had a talk this weekend on Christmas to see if we could get these odds and ends tied up and fix this thing and told me that they'll fix it and it would be safe which is the important part and everybody would be happy. I thought I was buying something as it said on their internet site ready to go because I was literally going to come home and load this thing up and we were going to go to Florida for the first of the year. I also notified the company who actually makes that travel home and gave them a copy of the letter that I sent Boat-N-RV Supercenter because if you're going to let me drive off your parking lot in a used car that isn't up to snuff then I won't be back for a new one. This was supposed to be a pleasant experience and to kind of get our feet wet but it turned out to be something very ugly, but I'm optimistic that good prevails and I'm better than that and I'll be the winner in the end. The price was good.
