    1st Family Movers in Memphis was hired at the last minute on movinghelp.com to move my family. I paid them $480 the boss guy paid them an additional $120 and they were around 10 hours and did not completely move me. They broke the water line on my water on my refrigerator, caused a major water leak when disconnecting the washer in my apt (which flooded my 2 downstairs neighbors). Rotor rooter had to be called to work on all 3 apartments due to their negligence. I had to keep my apt an a additional day, moving truck an additional day, moving supplies an additional day and all with no assistance from the owner who I was in constant contact with. He said he would come and finish unloading the truck that his guys had left after 10 hours work and he did not. He said he would repair my fridge he did not. He mocked me for running out of money however I paid him for 8 hours and he paid them for 2 hours and I still had to have someone help me on the following Monday continue to move my belongings. How much was I supposed to pay him for substandard work? I can't say it enough. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 1st Family Movers in Memphis TN. He is very unprofessional and unethical. He has not refunded any of my money nor fixed anything that his people broke. I have to tell people the water don't work on the fridge and find someone to repair it. I spent over $1000 moving because of this company and he does not offer any customer service. He instead gets angry and makes fun of you for running out money. He asked me to send him pictures of my fridge damage and I did and he said he would repair he has not. He asked me to send him a picture of what was left after they were no longer being paid and I did he did nothing. He blocked my number and stopped answering my text messages on the day he said he would come and continue to unload the truck. We had to move 4 queen mattresses upstairs, put all the beds together and load and unload the truck the next day. I had no idea I had to watch them (grown men) load and unload I thought they knew what they were doing. They left a lot of heavy stuff for us to move. I have no problem paying people for good service. However, I did not receive good service. This company caused what could of been a good experience into a horrible moving experience. I contacting movinghelp.com and they rely on the company to provide customer service. Well he doesn't believe there is any need. I beg to differ. Do Not use this company. I paid his people the next day in cash my mistake (by his request) I still have not received a receipt for those funds.

    After my move last in last month, I will always use Baku Moving for any sort of move. They were involved in my move, which was a 3 bed room apartment move. They managed to encounter such hostile situation and delivered me a timely, stress free, safe and affordable move. I have no idea how they managed to keep 100% accuracy but I am sure that these guys seasoned campaigners. I thank each and every one of the employees of Baku Moving.

    On move-in day the moving team of 4 guys and two trucks were prompt and worked hard and answered any questions we had. Workers were experiences, except for maybe one, and got us moved in as well as following us over to our storage unit and loading up stored items there and bringing them back over to new home. Only casualty was a broken pane of glass on side of china cabinet. Cory recommended McKenzie & Pain for replacement and covered the cost. Few minor items such as bolts not tightened up on headboard by inexperienced team member but otherwise a very satisfying move experience provided. Completed in about 6 hours

    I understand that things don't always go right, but this was a complete nightmare. The movers came the day before to box up our belongings and take apart our furniture. They worked for 6 hours, completed approx. half of the task and then left. Not only did they not complete the task of packing everything, but $80 cash went missing from my mothers purse. They also didn't pack a number of items that ended up being left in the house after we moved as well as broke a number of items by not packing well. We were paying for the packaging as well and found multiple boxes used for one item when they could have fit more but seemed to just be lazy. On the move day three gentlemen showed up around 1:30pm in a moving truck and promptly ran over our old houses mail box because they didn't properly use a spotter when backing in. When the three gentlemen showed up they had already been working since 7am that morning and were visibly exhausted. Since the packers that were there the day before didn't finish their job they it took them 12 hours to complete the move. a three bedroom house should not take 12 hours to complete but alas, they spent a lot of time looking at the truck discussing how to pack it rather than PACKING it... By the time they realized that it was going to take 2 loads to get everything to the new house it was 9pm and they started loading things into my fathers truck and my car. Before they had left we had noticed that they broke our headboard as well as breaking a shelving unit. So when they left at close to 2am we notated that on the bill of sale and paid them for the hours worked and the packaging used.... it was almost $2000. The next day we started unpacking and found the nightmare of broken kitchen appliances including; ice cream maker, food processor, and coffee grinder. We also noticed that we were missing all of our bakeware... it was left at the house. I got in my car to go someplace and noticed that they had scratched the sides of my car when loading drawers into it. I had called them multiple times to try and get them to help fix the damages that they did or explain why the sent an exhausted crew to what should have been an 8 hour job, and also why they didn't provide a single member of the team with enough experience to lead the job. We go the bottom of the barrel. I had such great hopes for this move after reading so many positive reviews but we got hosed and they didn't do anything to try and make it right. Be wary of their claims that they will make sure you have experienced movers... they will really only make sure that they have the correct number of bodies there so they can charge you their hourly rate.

    They were great.  i am using them again for another load of odds and ends.  Hunter and his co-worker did a great job.  my home is a two story and all my furnishings are very heavy.  they never complained at all.  it also was 100 degrees outside.  also nothing got damaged.

    The crew worked quickly and responded to a late addition (the piano).   Though better coordination of the crew may have helped the move take less time, overall I was satisfied with their performance and service.

    They arrived as promised.  Very professional and courteous. They did not mess around, loaded my stuff up super quick. They were very careful not to scratch the walls in my new house and asked me where I wanted things as they unloaded. I would recommend them to anyone planning on moving.

The assessment of the items to be moved, manner in which each item was handled, placement of the furnishings....all wad flawlessly done. In addition, the punctual, professional and courteous manner of every worker topped off the experience. We would not hesitate to use their services again..

    Two individuals , Waruth and the other male were incompetent. They didn't have a clue what they were doing nor did they care about our furniture or home.
    We have damaged furniture, walls and doorways. This was absolutely the worst experience with moving we've ever experienced.
    The Supervisor on duty, Lawyer was appoligetic but couldn't do anything else but provide one excuse after another.
    We had three separate moves scheduled with this company, the first was the worst.
    The second move 2-3pm did not show up, called dispatch and promised they would be there at 6pm. 6pm No Show, dispatcher wanted to explain to me about the rain, no crews available and the delays they suffered. I agreed to waiting until the next day at 2-3 pm.  3pm next day No Show, same dispatcher with the same excuses, finally at 4:30 p.m. a crew showed up.
    These three guys knew what they were doing and carefully moved our belongings in a very timely manner.
    Third move on the following Monday, Colton and his Team were Excellent ! Took careful approach in moving my furniture and delivered all without incident.
    I've utilized Big League Movers on several occassions and have always been pleased with the level of service. The first move of this adventure was horrible.
    I really think they should have discounted or Not Charged me at all for the first move. I talked with Jeff in the office about making things right but no further contact or action has happened.
    I suspect they'll not be interested in trying to make this right.
    I'll choose another company next time.
