He's always on time. He calls me the day before to confirm that he is coming. My wife who keeps a close eye on things is very happy with his work. His prices are reasonable and we get along great and I don't have to keep an eye on him.

They did a bad job. He missed a couple of spots. He came when he was supposed too. He said that he would come back and seal the back slab. He didn't follow-up. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He's been doing it for 35 years. I called him three times and never heard back from him and I told him not to come back. I wouldn't recommend him. He didn't finish the job.

The garage built for me by Backyard Custom Construction, LLC was very poorly constructed. Beginning at the top of the structure this company left out a main ridge board brace. This company also span 24'x30' 2x6 without any brace or support. And this structure shifted before a REAL licensed contractor could make repairs.

The smart board siding also noted by the codes inspector failed. This failed because the nailing of the siding to the structure was improperly spaced and the upper sections that could be reached were nailed, but near the bottom where bending over was required, it was poorly nailed. Some of the work was attempted at night under lights. This presented a dangerous work ethic and poor quality.

Where some structure members were difficult to nail, nails were simply left out. In other words, if it came to bending over or getting a nail into a difficult area, they were attempted or left out.

The side door was simply mis-hung and only four screws with no bracing was attempted.

I had to hire a licensed contractor at great costs to repair these problems before codes would even attempt to pass. I have the codes report that failed this structure as documentation for proof. Also, a statement from the local licensed contractor.

    Update 2/10/14:

Mr. Hirschfeld owner/CEO of the above mentioned company agreed to build me a 24x30 foot garage as taken from his web site advertisement. The ad introduced the company as"The Premier Outdoor Structures Builder".heh A permit was obtained and building materials with the exception of the roof shingles were ordered by him from Home Depot. The following areas of  construction  were either omitted or workmanship so poorly constructed work had to be redone. Some of the work was finalized at night with makeshift night lights. From the upper most point of the garage a major brace called the ridge board was omitted from construction. The next major item omitted was a very crucial support beam that held up the construction members. This was a beam that ran down the center of the building to support rafters and  ceiling joists.Additionally attic and corner braces were never installed. Also an inspection of the nailing system tying the exterior 4x8 siding sheets to the framing members revealed nails that were either omitted or sparsely installed. Where nailing areas were difficult requiring bending or reaching nails were simply not installed. Headers for the garage and side door were inadequate for the load. Relative to the side entry door only 4 sheet rock screws held this unit in place. This unit was only tacked in place. A licensed local general contractor was called as Mr.Hirschfeld could not provide me with return date and failed to return calls. This structure was so poorly built that an half to an inch shifted in less than a week  prior to repairs. This was communicated to Mr. Hirschfeld In conclusion this was not a structure that was built in a reasonable professional manner. The irresponsibilty of communication by the builder in effect caused this to be a poorly built garage. All repairs had to be made according to documentation from codes and from a building a reasonable building perspective.

My husband called for a home inspector because we wanted to redo our house. |ONE CALL HOME TEAM LLC came to our house right on time.  He was very clean, business like and did his job thoroughly.  I was impressed with him and would hire him again without a second thought.  I highly recommend him to anyone.

Jason was prompt and professional. The price was very reasonable too. When the weather didn't work out he had to come on the same day as another repairman and they work around each other very well, to get both jobs completed. Love my new patio area and my steps are so much easier to walk up. Thanks again Jason, will recommend highly to friends and family!

Very punctual and professional employee. Very impressed with patio.  Once I removed the old wooden deck I realized the home builder did not veneer the whole lower structure of house. Jason poured the patio in such a way it covered the majority of this. Looks great. Concrete is sloped for appropriate drainage as well. All aspects were very well thought out. My family is enjoying our patio very much this summer.

Everything went perfectly well!  Their work was superb.  They were on time, pleasant ,courteous, and  cleaned up the area when they
left.  I even cleaned up my patio furniture so they could eat their lunch outside in the sunshine instead of sitting in their truck or on the curb. Couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people to work on my driveway project!   We plan on using them again!!

The patio was poured successfully, but they let it dry to long before stamping it so the lines are not very defined. The color was done well, but we had to ask them to make the sides look better. The sidewalk was stamped well, but there were spots were the cement wasn't smoothed properly so there were crevices. We asked him to come back and he did eventually after several calls. The areas were patched, left to dry, recolored but now they do not match. We offered to buy the coloring agent, if he would darken the whole sidewalk. He agreed but has failed to return to do that. This work was performed when the weather was extremely hot and we think this was a factor. At the time we questioned if this were so but he said it would not matter.

Overall, the company kept in touch, provided a written estimate and did everything exactly as stated and at the cost they had agreed to.  They began the outside concrete work first, and then came in to install an electrical fan box to replace the electrical light box in the ceiling. The team worked tirelessly on both projects.  They were tidy and took shoes off as they came indoors AND cleaned up any debris from both projects.  They also completed an additional smaller deck job while the concrete was firming.  The team was knowledgeable, efficient, and tidy.  This group deserves an A + rating.  I was extremely satisfied and would hire them and recommend them for ANY project in the future.  This team cared about excellence in product, AND was extremely knowledgeable in all home work,  which is difficult to find.  The company 'home' base also followed through on anything I asked for AND kept me informed about everything before the team showed up.  This group truly worked as an A + team!
