Physical Therapy reviews in Collierville

In today?s world, it is rare to see the type of personal service and commitment to customers that you find at PT Squared.  I had a back injury and went to the physical therapist associated with my doctor and was appalled at the way it was handled ?three or four clients to one therapist who spent more time texting and watch TV than helping the patients ? it was also very expensive.  I was far enough along in my recovery that I didn?t qualify for physical therapy when I went to PT Squared, so I signed up for personal training sessions.  After a couple of weeks of my husband hearing how great it was, he joined me in the sessions.  We have been going for over a year now and we couldn?t be happier with the service. You don't do the same rote exercises every session - they really mix it up - you won't get bored with your sessions.  At PT Squared there is one-to-one attention with no distractions (no TV's - a real plus in my book).
Eight months ago my sister had a devastating injury - a shattered pelvis and broken hip.  When she started physical therapy, she went to a large PT establishment.  She rarely had the same therapist, one therapist was working with 2-3 clients at a time, and everything seemed to be by some formulary, regardless of whether your injury fitted their formulas.  There was no variation based on her various issues (she experienced sciatic nerve damage and drop foot as a result of the injury and surgery).  She transferred to PT Squared and was absolutely thrilled with the individual one-on-one attention and their willingness to address all her issues - drop foot, nerve damage, etc.  They worked with her on all her issues  and she has made a remarkable recovery.  Her
Ortho doc is astonished at how well she has done.  A lot of it is her own hard work, but she and I agree that she would not have made the astounding progress she has made if it hadn't been for the guidance and personalized treatment she received at PT Squared.
Also they are great with insurance and Medicare, willing to work with you to determine what treatment you can get and filing all paperwork.  We never had to worry about any of this - we just had to concentrate on our recovery.
If you need physical therapy, personal training, or any help with aches and pains, check out PT Squared.  They offer a whole host of options to help you get back to the activities you enjoy. They are extremely flexible, committed and easy to work with.
Before you go to any other physical therapy establishment, do yourself a favor and check out PT Squared first.

We spent several months this summer with another physical therapist, trying to get some relief from a back injury, Because my daughter was not getting any better after 3 1/2 months of physical therapy (at the other place), we decided to change physical therapists and give PT Squared a try. BEST CHOICE WE COULD HAVE MADE!!!!!!!! After just a few appointments at PT Squared, she was showing remarkable improvement with her back. She was actually able to start doing some dance classes with no pain, something we never expected for her to be doing at that time!!! She ended up going a total of 3 weeks before being well enough to be released!!
The staff at PT Squared is extremely friendly and it's obvious that they really do care about getting you better asap and back to what you love doing, with no pain!!! I would highly recommend them

My orthopedist had asked me to use their services. Physical therapy is his preferred method of dealing with someone who has combination of problems. I am handicapped and overweight. He put me on a two session per week regimen for three times. Each time was for 6 weeks. So it was a total of 18 weeks of water workout where you need to get in the water. There will be very low impact. The assessment that they give you is completely professional. They know what your problem areas are. I have to deal with my knees and I have a torn left rotator cuff. I also have a damaged right rotator cuff. They give exercises that are low impact and help build up the muscles around the area. They are wonderful, punctual and professional. All you have to do is show up with a pair of what is necessary for swimming. They help you when you are in the water. You can use the hollow tubes when you are in the water. They are consistent. I have been with physical therapists that get it right some of the times. There are some physical therapists who tell people to do some exercises on their own when they reach a particular level. However, I have never had any difficulty at all with YMCA physical therapy. I have my knees injected with Synvisc at my doctors office about every 8 to 9 months. After that, I go in for physical therapy to help the stuff work better. Synvisc doesnt rebuild the cartilage or doesnt do anything wonderful like that, but it puts a fluid cushion. I usually go through 2 or 3 weeks of therapy whenever I have my knees done. I would use their services in the future too.

Im doing water exercises to build up knee strength and physical therapy here for free but I will be charged on a monthly basis when I move on to the machines for exercises. There are so many people here that they waive off the initial charges for physical therapy and then you need to pay according to your income. The first thing that comes to my mind is that the facility is clean. They have a salt water pool which is nice as it does not irritate the way chlorine does. The people there are excellent. If you are facing problems with anything you just have to call one of them with the Y-shirt on and they are there to help you. They have plenty of staff. I took swimming lessons there and they also have games of basketball for the members. It was extremely good experience that they had someone who teaches adults to swim. They have an indoor and an outdoor pool. It is 14 miles drive from my house but it is worth it.
