I've never met him before and that was the first day I've met him. I used to go to another hospital and they're the ones who referred me to him. The doctor was fine and the nurses were great. His front office staff were a little to be desired. They kinda dope you up a little bit. He does come in there and say hi to you but you're pretty much medicated by that time. When I was recovering and coming to, he did come and talk to me and he was very nice.

When I first arrived at the office, the front desk staff was very friendly. She explained everything thoroughly, got my registration done quickly, and helped me feel comfortable in an otherwise awkward situation. I didn't wait long before a nurse called me back and took my routine vitals. Then, another staff member came in and went over questions and symptoms with me. Though she was friendly as well, what I found most uncomfortable was that the walls seemed paper thin and the exam rooms were stark and clinical feeling. I could hear conversations happening in the hallway as well as those in the room next door. It made in an uncomfortable environment to be in. Shortly after the questions, Dr. Glassell came in, introduced himself, and literally stood over me and spoke while I was sitting in a chair in the exam room. He didn't provide much explanation or create any path of treatment other than to try some fiber supplements and come back in a month. Obviously, since I have been dealing with sometimes debilitating digestive issues, I have already tried this path but he insisted that was the first step. I was frustrated to leave feeling like this is a problem without a solution. I won't be returning. His personal care would be an F but because of the friendliness of the rest of the staff, I rated his care a C.

    Patel, Dr. Anil C.
Dr. Anil C. Patel is very good. He's competent, very personable and does his job. The office is very nice and friendly. I have to go back to him in August and I will definitely refer him as a good doctor.

I arrived for the appointment and checked in. The front deck staff was very friendly and helpful
When a member of the staff came to take me back he was extra nice. He ask if I needed a wheelchair and I said please. So he went and returned with a wheelchair. I am so thankful, as the walk to where the procedure room was, would have been a very long walk..
The prep nurses were very nice. They answered all my questions and kept checking on while I waited my turn.
I was wheeled into the procedure room. My doctor and two nurses were there the entire time. When the procedure was completed i was taken to a recovery room. They watched me carefully until they were sure I as having no problems. The nurse then wheeled me out to the entrance.
Just an excellent job done by all..

    Patel, Dr. Anil C.
I liked that I was in and out. I loved it. He followed up. I had the procedure, a few days afterwards I got a call, and a little while after that I got another call just to check and make sure everything was fine. Most doctors don't call, I don't think.

I would definitely not recommend his services. I think he is very knowledgeable but he has no concern or consideration for his patient's time. His bedside manner is horrible. The only only thing I liked about him was his knowledge. Everything else is terrible.

This appointment was to set up another appointment for above procedure. First thing that happens when you go to this office is that prior to being there you are called and told how much money you will have to bring in order to even see the doctor. Very annoying as when you first go to the reception area at the office again it is the first thing they ask for is your insurance card and money, they already know you will owe. No hello, how are you today etc..very cold atmosphere. Get to see the Dr. for about 2 minutes (maybe) as there is a prior health care person who takes all your information before you see him. Then he comes in and repeats what has already been told to the other person and states that I can go to a different desk in front to set up the appt. for the actual procedure. Do that and its a week later. Get a call at home before that appointment again teling me what I will have to pay before th procedure is done. Annoying again. Appointment time was on time and procedure scheduled on time. Go to prep room and again see another health care person who puts your IV in (which took way to long and collapsed a vein which was painful..not real great at her job, but she was a friendly person. Get wheeled into procedure room, you get to talk to anesthesia person for a minute. When I go in there Dr. Glassell is sitting there working on a computer (not sure what he was doing and it doesn't matter). What does matter is that he does not acknowledge you at all. Its as if you barely exist except for the nursing people. Have never had a Dr. who was going to knock you out and do a procedure at least say good morning. I was very uncomfortable with his coldness and lack of respect for how I was doing as I was the patient. Procedure went well and he did his job but I guess all he cares about is doing his job and making sure you pay first. Had to go back again for followup..talked to another health care person, saw Dr. Glassell for 1 minute and then all was over. Glad I do not have to go back there again. Not a friendly place, especially the Dr. who has not bedside manner at all. I am sure office staff are only doing there jobs but not a happy place to be. Won't go back again. Will find somewhere else, if needed, where people at least seem to care about how you are and feeling.

I went to this doctor because I had a referral to go to him. If I had a choice in the matter, I would have gone to someone else (someone else was actually recommended to me). The office staff is nice enough and I liked the nurse. I just didn't appreciate how I had to see the nurse, then the NP, and then the doctor. By the time I saw the doctor, he came in without a salutation and just starting telling me his treatment plan. I was expecting a "Hello, how are you doing today? My name ....." but I didn't get that. He has no bedside manner and he seems very cold and unfeeling. When a patient is in constant pain, you would think they would do more to figure out the problem. I will not be going back to him!

The doctor was very impersonable. I thought the front desk staff and nursing staff were personable but the doctor himself was not. I've gone there twice now and I've only seen him for thirty seconds. He basically came in and said the exact same thing the nursing staff had said.

was referred to this doctor from another as I was having an issue. I went to the appt, waited about 15 minutes, then I was taken into the office and waited another 10 min. The nurse came in and took vitals, then the NP came in and asked alot of questions. She said she would confer with doc about what I told her. He came in about 10 min later, walked in no hello, no greeting, no nothing...just " we need to do this specific procedure and we the nurse can schedule you for it" and that was basically it. He was rigid and appeared to be unfeeling. The next time I saw him was to have the procedure done in his office. The staff was extremely helpful and nice and caring. I had to go under local. I did not see him until I was in the room and I had to say hello first. He turned around and said hello and that was that. The doc has no bedside manner. I felt like basically a number and my copay and what the insurance was going to pay was just money in his pocket, he could not have cared less. I did have a follow up. He was a wee bit better, but no smile or warmth at all. He told me that i should continue on with my meds and that we could do more testing but there wasn't much to offer in the way to fix my issue. I asked him to call the meds in for me as the prescription that my family doc had given me was fine, but the meds he wanted me to take were double the dose. Again, fine but the insurance would not pay for the double dose unless the doctor called it in. His response" you can get them at walgreens"...I said.."yeah for 5 times the price" So again, he doesnt' seem to give a hoot about his patients just what he can get from them. Would I go to him again, Absolutely NOT...and I will never give his name either.
