    I AM LIVID right now after our visit yesterday (3/13/18) with Dr. HOWER!!! My daughter came in for her cleaning & check up & Dr. Hower NEVER even looked in her mouth. That's right he did NOT physically examine her mouth but yet he wants to diagnose her with gingivitis (gum disease) because her gums were bleeding well **** anyone's gums would bleed if they had just seen the hygienist she had. He seemed to be more worried in selling services & products she didn't need referring to he "water flushing -pocket irrigation" or as they use to call it "scaling". It's a shame that this Dentist could possibly ruin the reputation of this office, the trust that patients have had with Dr. G because Dr Hower is all about unnecessary procedures for the money. I nor my kids will see him again PERIOD!!! In all actuality she wasn't suppose to see him today for I had instructed the Office Staff two weeks ago when I was in there to NOTE that we were to see Dr Galbraith ONLY so I'm still NOT sure how this mess up happened but I know I am NOT happy about it. I suggest you STAY AWAY from here unless you can see Dr. Galbraith who is & has been our dentist since 2002. Any questions concerning this post feel free to message me!!!!

    Dr. Wenrick is competent and knowledgeable. I did generally have a good experience despite one botched filling that I got a next day appointment to fix after I reported it. My only problem is the cost since I don't have dental insurance--not only the cost of services but the constant sales pitches for an electric toothbrush, an application of fluoride and other services I felt were costly and unnecessary. And the staff assumed I wanted it done so I had to ask them what they were doing, why and how much it would cost and then tell them to stop. If I were rich instead of on Social Security or had insurance, I would recommend her.

    I had originally gone to get my wisdom teeth extracted and I was advised that it would not be painful. The staff lied. I asked the manger if I would be put under general anesthesia she said yes, that was a lie. They first put the numbing medicine but don't even let it kick in, they immediately started cutting into my gums. I have never felt so much pain immediately. The staff was rude, they should really act like they at least care about their patients. The staff was very unprofessional. I myself work in a clinic with tons of patients and I would never treat them the way this staff did to me. My full price for all 4 wisdom teeth removed was over $1,200 they wouldn't go any lower and that's with no insurance. They also prescribed me antibiotics I'm allergic too, and that's with me giving them a list of medicine I can't take. They almost killed me by doing that!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I was very disappointed and I would not recommend my patients or family to this place.

After checking with friends, associates, co-workers and neighbors, we opted to visit Dr. Katie Ham and her team at Tiny Town Dental. Never has our family felt at much of ease with a professional such as she than we did with this entire staff.

    Dr Renfro was extreme professional and helpful. His services were very well done. The appointments were punctual and smooth. The staff is friendly and polite and the office manager cares about the customers which is a big deal.

    I had to have a crown reseated that they put in about 6 months prior. They charged over $100.00 that I had to pay out of pocket to fix. I called to speak to the billing manager to see why I would even have to pay to have it reseated and I was told that is how it is. I have two other crowns from a different dentist and have had them over 5 years and have never had a problem. I have never heard of a dentist not fixing their own work for free.

    WOW, they had me back and in the chair on time. The hygienist explained everything she was going to do. She did a great job and the Dentist that came in after the cleaning was great. I highly recommend them.

    The dentist was professional. Their headquarters is in Nashville and we had got an issue with billing. They didn't tell us that they weren't recognizing enough doctors and said that they had. We thought we were going to be stuck with a $7,000 bill, and it took a while to sort that from our insurance stand point. I am not going to go back to them because I was not at all pleased with the billing situation. Their availability was good as far as scheduling appointments.

    I have to start by saying her staff is wonderful. They are beyond accommodating and got me in for all my appointments quickly. My issue with this provider is my fillings that I had done. I only had a couple done on the right side but I was in so much pain the days afterwards I ended up needing to go back. After they fixed their mistake I was told the pain should subside and I would be able to eat again in a week (mind you I am pregnant and need to be able to eat solid foods). Over 6 months later I still have pain when eating on my right side and cannot bite down hard with out shooting pains. I have been back twice for it and was told that it should settle in and stop hurting eventually. I was very disappointed because I did enjoy her staff and they did a wonderful job on cleaning my teeth.

    My biggest concern was that my first visit didn't include a cleaning, just a meeting with the dentist. I understand if they have a policy for a first consultation, but none of that was explained to me and I was expecting to get my teeth cleaned, so I was very surprised when I asked about the cleaning and was told that I would have to make an appointment for that (also, another copay). 
    My second cleaning (6-months later), I expected a routine dentist visit: teeth cleaned, dentist checks for cavities, etc. I did have a cleaning (it was good and thorough), but the dentist never came in. I didn't say anything because I always feel like since they are the experts, maybe I shouldn't ask questions...
    So for my visit today, when I was confirming the appointment on the phone, I asked if I would see the dentist, and the receptionist told me if I wanted to see him I could (what?). So I said I did. 
    When I arrived the hygienist looked at my chart and mentioned that I wanted to see the dentist, I told her that I did, after my cleaning as in a normal dentist visit. 
    The dentist, Dr. Kinney, did look at my teeth, before the cleaning - did not do a regular cavity exam, just looked at my x-rays and gushed about how wonderful my teeth are and that I have nothing to worry about (...I just wanted a regular exam).
    I later asked they hygienist why he doesn't see every patient and she said that if there is a problem or the hygienist sees something then he does come in, but that they are not like other places (said with a laugh).
    I can't say my cleaning experience was particularly bad - it was fine, but I do think that a bi-annual dentist appointment should entail seeing the actual dentist and having him check for cavities.
