He would call ...sometimes several times and say he was on his way or that he would be there at 10 or noon and then show up at 2:30! That is why he was at the house for 4 days. He just couldn’t seem to get his act together. Nice guy but not reliable if you were on a schedule and working from home- Jo L.

DB&G CarpentryI built a new garage with G&B that started in October 2019, and ended in May 2020. They told me it would take 90 days instead it took them 7 months. I would not build with them again, poor quality, poor communication. I was constantly, checking on the work of the subs. G&B was rarely on the job site. The subs constantly complained to me that G&B was not paying them as promised or not at all.- Christopher W.

ACnK's Home Maintenance and RepairLong story short the first contractor that I hired (which was not from this company) took off with part of my insurance claim money that was suppose to be used for materials. My insurance wouldn’t allow me to turn in anymore estimates and refused to help pay for another contractor. If I had the money I had originally started with I have no doubt that I would of hired CNK’s Home Maintenance & Repair. Very friendly and up front. Tried their hardest to get within my budget range. Quick to respond, and was very understanding and polite. God forbid if anything happens again at my home, they will be the first company I call.- Sara W.

AAffordable Building ConceptsThe lead guy was Mike Mathis. He knows his stuff. It was a 24' x 36' ft full two story garage attached with an enclosed 8' x 24' breezeway. The garage has nice plywood finished walls and ceilings, fully insulated, and with lots of electrical outlets. For my purposes, I needed the top floor to be able to hold a lot of weight, so the garage was built much stronger than what is required for codes. It is partially embedded in a hill, so great care was taken to seal the cinder block foundation and provide water drainage. I did need to correct some small details along the way such as the garage doors were supposed to have windows and they initially didn't and I had to remind him that I wanted plywood on the walls and ceilings. Also, one of the garage door openers stopped working a couple weeks after the garage was finished and it took 3 phone calls and two months to get somebody to come out and fix it. Other than that, I am very happy with the job.- DEVON W.

AWe are very pleased with all the work performed. The crew was quiet, reliable and efficient. The work was actually underway a week earlier than expected. Uzi is responsive and easy to contact at any time. The cost was competitive and any requested modifications were reasonable. Our only delay involved the project plans for the building permit submittal. Be advised that a project of this scope involves detailed professionally produced plans being drawn up. This is not a DIY option. Plan for this cost and permitting fees in your budget separately from the construction quote. We would highly recommend American Services. It was a pleasure working with Uzi and his crew.

AI contacted Adam Electric on a Tuesday and by the end of the week I had an estimate (same day as consultation). Not only were they the best price, but there was no pressure to add on anything extra. Michael made sure I understood what would need to be done and let me explain exactly what I was looking for in the kitchen. The job was scheduled early the next week and completed in one day, wow! Before anything was cut, it was marked and I got to see what it would look like before the next step--I really appreciated that. The job was completed and turned out even better than I was hoping, and they left my kitchen spotless! It absolutely changed the functionality of my kitchen and couldn't believe the quality of work that happened in such a short amount of time. This will definitely not be the last time I hire Adam Electric; they are great people, easy to work with, trustworthy, and provide a wonderful service!
