Tire Buying And Repair reviews in Ashland City

I called Joey's because I know they generally have the best prices in town. I had gone to another business for a tire in an urgent situation and they made some mistakes I needed fixed. I called Joeys and they answered promptly, gave a great price quote right away, and listened to my situation and gave me some good ideas on how to proceed--Joey even told me the best route for me to go, which wasn't buying from them. I appreciated the honesty and prompt service.

I had a slow leak in a front tire that had gradually increased over time to a moderate leak. I went to Firestone to get that leak assessed and repaired. I checked in and waited 3 1/2 hours thinking that they were fixing it or getting around to it, at least. Then they call me up front to tell me that the tire is too worn to repair the leak and the only solution is new tires. I really did not have the money for this but decided to just buy two tires for now. ($480 because I bought good tires). Normally when you buy new tires, the NEW tires go on the back and the tires that were formerly on the back of the car are moved to the front since they are in better condition in most cases (as was with mine). But they actually just took off the back tires and replaced them, leaving me with the damaged tire in the front which was the whole reason I came in. I did not see that this was what had happened as it was dark, late, and I headed home. The next morning I woke up the that same flat tire. I went back to Firestone and explained the issues. They apologized and said that they have already gotten rid of my old tires so they wouldn't be able to put my better tires back on the front to fix the error. I would have expected that they would have done something to make this right without costing me any money. I told them I had already spent any money I had to spend on the other two tires. They spoke to a manager, and literally the only offer I was given was a Friends and Family Discount on the purchase of two MORE new tires. I felt so defeated from the ordeal that I eventually caved in and bought two new tires but I wish I had not. I trusted them to fix my problem and ended up spending money I didn't have just to fix their mistake.

I had some strange wear on 2 previously-purchased tires from this NTB location. The previous manager had moved on, and had basically given me a handwritten warranty on those 2 slightly-used tires (he said they had been returned immediately because they were the incorrect tire for a particular car). The current manager really had no obligation to honor this warranty since the tires were used (and the original manager shouldn't have done this handwritten warranty), but he kindly said he would give me tread wear allowance and ended up selling me 2 new tires for the price of 1 -- so I certainly felt as if my situation was handled fairly.

They were honest to me. They told me I did not need new tires. and I have another 5000 miles They were thorough and inexpensive. They gave me a lot of information. They picked up my car and dropped it back. They checked my brakes, brake pads. They changed my oil and rotated my tires. I will be going to them from now on. They were quick. They are very busy. They came and picked me up. They were very informative and it was a well run business. The pricing was great. I paid more than that just to get my oil changed!

The Red Ball Garage stick to their quotes, I have never had an instance where I got a quote from them and then I had to pay back because it had a lot of add ons or things like that. They are accurate on the quote of time that it takes to fix things. I have been going to them for year and althought they have had a change in management recently, I haven't seen any drop off in the way they do things.
