AComfort Heroes Plumbing, Heating & AirAlan was EXCELLENT. He was very fast, professional and saved the day for my family. We had an emergency pipe burst and no one else could get us in today because they were “too busy” to come out “for a small leak”. Bottom line... the other companies in town are *** HOLES. One of the other companies in town was going to charge me $109 just to show up and said they still wouldn’t be able to fix it until Tuesday! Golden Rule came same day and fixed it within an hour for a very reasonable price. From now on I’m calling Golden Rule!! ALAN’S THE BOMB!!- Dawit S.

ARichard Sorum ConstructionThey are very honest, and have good integrity. Very high quality work. We had a complete rehab of the house (Kitchen, bathroom, etc.). They have subcontractors to do separate jobs. They bring in people that they have worked with for years. I have used them 2 times now. He has also built an add on over sized garage on my house, and added a bathroom as well. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone. They are nice father/son business, and work very hard. ANew Age ConstructionMy fiance started a bathroom project before being deployed to Iraq and she did not get it finished. I was working nights at the time and did not have energy to do the work that she wanted done on my off days due to my reveresed sleep schedule. I also have no experience with tile, and did not want to touch on that at all. I contacted New Age Construction and Rick returned my phone call almost immediately. He was very punctual in coming and doing an estimate. We set a date to start work, but when we decided to have new elctrical work performed, Rick was able to push the project back a few days. He is very punctual and professional, calling if he knew I may still be in bed still to see if we were up and about. Overall it took him 3 days to finish this bathroom, and he keeps you informed with all his plans. He was very open minded as to what we wanted done and provided some help in giving good suggestions. He keeps his work area very clean for you when you return home on multi-day projects. The tile work looks amazing, and he made the larger vanity top and base fit into a smaller location. ACoacher Construction LLCFrom the first meeting to the last vacuuming and filter change on the furnace, Keith did a great job helping us to imagine, design and complete a significant 1200sf remodel while we were living in the home. He let us know line by line what it would cost and what to expect. We have a beautiful but quirky 1901 victorian, and Keith was able to make the addition not only fit with the character of the house, but roll with the inevitable and quot;surprisesand quot; that come with older homes. DI had Home Solutions replace all of my windows and a sliding door. It was not a good experience at all. To highlight the worst parts: 1.Eric gave me a quote of $12000 of which $6000 was labor so $429 per window. He gave no contract. 2. If you don’t use his terms, he “doesn’t understand what you are saying.” Trim, even pointing to it, means nothing to him. 3. He only installed the windows. He never framed them out and brought it back to original. He put trim around the windows outside but never painted them. He never discussed it with me that he wasn’t going to paint the outside trim. He never said he was not going to frame out the windows. 4. Eric said he would put in the sliding door screen door knob and adjust the screen door. When I emailed him and asked him to do that along with straightening a very crooked board and putting a cable back on the house, Eric said his attorney was putting a mechanics lien against my house as we speak because I would only write him and he said I wasn’t communicating with him. My attorney told me to get everything in writing. When I said that’s fine, I will be talking to my attorney, he then states “let’s start over.” He wanted to be paid BEFORE this work was done He said “I was playing a game.” I have the email where he wrote that just because I wanted 4 things done before paying him. 5. Eric’s company scraped off the paint of my siding that was just painted in May. He did not repair it. His employees chipped huge chips from my brand new siding and would not fix it besides putting caulking over it – no painting it, no smoothing it out. He felt crooked boards were acceptable. The windows were not installed evenly in the window hole. I have pictures of all of this and the tests if anyone wants to see them. His employees messed up the landscaping around the house, broke bushes and left garbage all over. For $400 plus a window, they can clean up. They charged me $600 for a dumpster that they threw garbage in from another site. I paid for another person’s garbage being disposed of or perhaps Eric charged them money too. 6. I asked another contractor to come over – a male – and Eric changed his attitude. I told Eric that I was refi – ing my house. When the other contractor was there, Eric said that appraisers would over look not framed out windows. Even the other contractor agreed that they don’t do that. 7. I took a loan out for the windows. I repeatedly asked Eric if $12500 was all I needed, the price went up due to a complication on windows. He said yes. After Eric put the windows in, he said he would give me an estimate to frame out the windows. When I asked for him to do the 4 things, Eric refused to give the estimate. He “doesn’t do estimates for free” is what he said. His employees came over the day of the City inspection with Eric, they did the four items, he was paid and then said that he would send me the estimate for framing the windows. I told him I didn’t want it. He told me that he was going to send it anyway, just in case I wanted him to do it. Estimate was $4000 dollars for 12 windows or $334 a window more. 8. Be very careful with Home Solutions if you chose to use them. I can show all the pictures, texts and emails to you if you want to help you understand how they work.

AWe have 2 small rooms that are a challenge for us to decorate. My husband is disabled & we require space for his motorized wheelchair, which further limits what we can do. Bryan, the owner, & Dorothy, our designer, listened to our requests & designed 2 beautiful rooms that maximize the limited space. Once we approved the design & furniture, they immediately provided a list of carpenters so we could get started on some built-in cabinetry. We were also provided with a list of all the furnishings & websites so we can purchase what we can afford. We had never used a design team before & I didn't know what to expect, but I'm so happy we did! Now we have a direction & vision of what we can do to truly utilize those rooms. We also have control over the budget & can do what we can afford as time goes on. Bryan & Dorothy were absolutely wonderful to work with & I would definitely use them again!!

AAlan was the one who came out very quickly after I called the office and requested a quote. He gave us some good options and we were able to work out a package that would get the job done and stay within my expectations. We had a Trane package put in since Trane was the product line we used to carry at The Home Depot (I am a 17 year vet there and now retired). We set up a date for the install and the installer was right on time only to find the furnace unit damaged in shipping. Good luck was with us as they checked with their distributor immediately and they had several more units just arrive that morning with one that was in perfect shape. So the install was on and done in one day and the next morning. They caught a couple issues with the old electrical install but corrected them without a hitch. There were a couple issues with the physical install caught by the city inspector but the guys were right back the next day to perform the fix. I'm not sure why they missed those issues but it was explained that there were new items in the code and in the end, they were not major items. The final cost was just as quoted before the job began without any type of surprises to run up the bill. The cost was more than we expected overall but the product is top quality. The cleanup was very good and we had good air conditioning that evening.
