    BRASS HYDRANT PET GROOMING CTR
Got in quickly. But a few days later during brushing not only did she look like they used dry wash but she had a lice infestation. There is no way if a proper grooming job performed that it would be missed.

    Lisa Renne - Pet Sitter
Lisa went above my expectations across the board! For example, when Leo had an "accident" she even washed the doily he targeted and hung it in the sun to air out. She texted me often about how he was doing and generally let me know that my cat and my home were in good hands!

    All Creatures Veterinary Hospital
Dean Falcon is an extraordinary vet who makes the owner and pet feel comfortable with service. His prices are competitive (cheaper) then most places in town for basic service because he cares about the community and desires people to give their pets the shots they need. My rabies shot was 12 dollars, the spay service for a one year old was 140 dollars and the appointments are only about 35 dollars. Vets are expensive but this one does his best to be accesible and take great care of your pet. I would argue better care then the crazy expensive clinics in town.

Yuppy Puppy Grooming Spa & Boutique
They were very sweet with my pet and gave me a lot of feedback on how she was during grooming. My dog loves attention and so did great but even for dogs that bite, they have a reasonable fee of only 35-45 dollars for a full groom service. I'll take my lady there every time! I felt very comfortable leaving her there and appreciate the pictures of the dogs playing online.

    Northern Hills Veterinary Clinic
They're a very good veterinarian. We're very happy with them. They get me in for an appointment when I need it. They take very good care of my dogs and check them out. They diagnosed my dog with glaucoma in his eye, which another veterinarian was not able to diagnose. He did testing and knew what it was right away. They had to remove my dog's eye. They did everything they could. They've been good about it.

    Animal Clinic of Rapid City
The doctors in the emergency clinic are very responsive and caring. They are very knowledgable and have always given us all the information we need in order to take the best course of action for our elderly Great Dane. The whole staff always makes us feel like they really care about our pets and are very understanding of each situation.

    HAPPY TAILS DOG TRAINING
I signed up for a January class but was told the day before my puppy and I were to start training, that it would be postponed a month due to a scheduling conflict.  However, my credit card was charged at that time.
When I showed up in February, Terry announced that there was a problem with scheduling and that two classes had to be arranged.  We didn't get to pick to which class we were assigned.  Terry put a choke collar on my puppy the first day of training which I didn't appreciate but thought I'd try with her.
The next week we showed up and found out there was no class; on her Facebook page Terry posted that the class was cancelled.  I complained on Facebook that it was unprofessional to cancel a class in that way and that each of us should have received a phone call.  (We learned later that her co-manager was in the hospital that day.)  The following is the quoted response Terry posted on Facebook (except for my name - also I took a screen shot so that she couldn't deny that she'd written it)
"Happy Tails Dog Training Center @(my name), let me know where your credit card was charged, pet pantry or Happy Tails to credit you for the class. Happy Tails is not "big business". I am a small town dog trainer who loves helping people get the most out of their relationships with their dogs. The Happy Tails family is a close-knit group of folks who love their dogs and doing activities or just enjoying them around the house. Thank you for sending this post. It is good that we both know that you aren't a fit in my program."
A number of the other clients chimed in attacking me; I posted nothing more on Facebook.  She also sent a number of emails directly to me that were ... unpleasant.
Though she promised the refund the money, after almost two months, I called the bank and had them deal with her.
She might be a good dog trainer, but she does not run a professional business.

    Healthy Paws
Healthy Paws is a business that specializes in natural products, low grain and grain free high quality pet foods.  They also specialize in holistic pet remedies and supplements.  They offer a money back guarantee on their products.  This family-run store.  They are extremely friendly and helpful.  They know their clients.  They have an awesome additive to cat litter that eliminates odor.  It actually smells good.

    ANIMALAND PET SVC
She does a fine job. She works out of her home, so if you're looking for glitz and glitter, this probably won't be your cup of Alpo. She will work with you in terms of holding onto your dog for a bit, but I don't believe you can leave your puppy there all day. She's very friendly, and our dog always comes back looking like a Schnauzer. He always seems to be well treated when we pick him up.
Her prices are very reasonable, and I would rather give the money to her than to a Petco or PetsMart.

    Rapid Spay
Was given info in advance before the altering.  Dr. Howard is extremely pleasant and helpful, obviously cares a great deal about animals.  She is the only low cost spay neuter for dogs and cats in the entire state of South Dakota, she believes so strongly in altering your pets that she does not have any income requirements.
