  • They did a great job on most of the work, but in the bathroom, no fixtures were removed from the walls when the texturing was done so the texturing around the vanity mirror and light fixture was ugly and very inconsistent with the rest of the bathroom. They did make an effort to fix the work but it wasn't a very good attempt. I think to do it properly, the area would have to be completely sanded and re-textured but all they did was a light sanding and re-texturing with a can. Maybe part of the problem was that the rest of the bathroom and basement texture looked so good, comparatively. They did some minor patchwork and other finish work that wasn't discussed but they also messed up my bathroom door trim when they fixed the door (which was discussed) and never repaired the damage. They said they would return to fix the damage, but I kinda figured they wouldn't. There was no written estimate which seemed a bit unprofessional but the workers were very friendly and experienced. Also, the cleanup was not very thorough. I have no frame of reference for the price but it seemed high and was higher than I wanted to pay. All in all, I would still probably use them again.

  • Paul came out again and was professional and courteous.  He keeps every work area so tidy that you'd barely know he was at the house.  Paul worked around all the other craziness going on at our home including the fact that I was glued to my phone on infinite hold with a situation that had to be handled immediately.  The only downside I would say is if you need materials for the job, have them come out and tell you what to have on hand in advance or you will pay for the time while they go get what they need.  This could really save you a few bucks.  Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend this company and Paul!!!

  • Their name (Service Team of Professionals) describes them perfectly. I was so impressed with how professional, knowledgable and kind this company was. I had water pouring through the downstairs ceiling one afternoon as the washing machine broke and flooded the upstairs, and ran through the downstairs ceiling and walls! I shut the water off and wondered what I would do next besides panic. Luckily, there was the Service Team. Before they got to my house, they called and told me who exactly would be coming over and when. They came right away. Mike assessed the damage and told me what exactly needed to be done, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. I had water damage in the kitchen, hallway, 4 rooms upstairs, and the garage.
They immediately began work to dry up the water damage. I had dehumidifiers and fans galore, but it was worth it; everything dried out just as Mike said it would. After a few days, the fans were removed and Mike told me the time and date their drywaller/painter (Arturo) would be at my house. The Service Team does it all--they had the house drywalled, and painted and back to normal in a matter of days. It looks exactly as it did prior to the water damage. I was impressed that they were able to match the paint perfectly. The total cost was for everything, including new crown moulding, baseboards, painting etc. It is a family run business and it definitely shows. They take pride in their work and let the customer know exactly when they will arrive, and are true to their word. Thanks Mike, Scott, Ryan & Arturo!!

  • Dan was fantastic. He talked me through the process and charged exactly what he quoted. He was able to work us into a cancellation spot and got the job done in one day. He and his daughter were very polite and left the bathroom spotless. Will definitely use next time I need something refinished!

  • This was a tough job because Chad had to match the existing doors, trim, and wall texture. He extended the walls of the stairwell to make a landing at the bottom and enclosed the entire area. He knew the building codes and installed the proper venting for the new enclosure so the furnace would continue operating properly. When he and his team were finished it looked like the new doorway had been there since the home was built. I was very impressed.

  • Amy was amazing - she helped me pick out colors, and listened to my "vision" for the area that was being painted. Then - she came out and whipped through painting close to 1000 square feet of my house in less than 3 days. I would have barely been finished taping by that point, and Amy put a beautiful faux-finish paint on the focal wall of both my living and dining rooms, that I am still getting compliments on from people as they visit my home. She also did all the necessary patchwork that would be expected before painting. All we had to do was pull the furniture out from the walls before she got there. She covered everything, taped things off, removed and replaced outlet covers, removed the handles/locks from the doors that were being painted - no shortcuts were taken. I had fun looking at all the color swatches ahead of time with Amy, and discussing the choices of what paint to put where, and honestly, I had fun watching her paint. I was amazed at how straight the lines were at the top of the ceiling, even without taping things off. I know, all professional painters should be like that, but I've experienced plenty of sloppy professionals, and Amy was definitely not sloppy. In the end, the results were so good that when I needed an additional room painted in my house the next year, Amy was the first and only option in my mind. I thought her prices were more than reasonable both times, and she always responded to me quickly, and was open with me about her calendar while trying to schedule the work I wanted done.

  • They came quicker than I thought and the work was good. I had a person lined up who was a whole lot cheaper but he never showed up. Their price was about what I expected to pay. The quality appears to be very, very good.

  • The drywall jobs were fantastic. If you didn't know where the original problems were you would not be able to find them. The quality of the work was terrific. All the drywalling and painting was done by one man on Pendo's crew and he did exceptional work. He was also very pleasant to work with - I was also painting two bedrooms on my own during the same time and when I needed some extra help he took on the task without a problem (for example, a few screws or anchor bolts/plastic my Father had put into the walls over the years I couldn't remove, he removed for me and plastered over; he also plastered over a few holes in the ceiling after I removed some old bathroom light fixtures). Elizabeth and her husband (owners of the company) were very friendly and checked on me and their staff often, made sure everything was going to my satisfaction and checking to see if I needed anything else. It turns out I did. I wanted to replace 5 wooden shelves in the linen closet. They did and for very little extra money. Elizabeth and Ken also completed caulking I needed in the bathrooms and kitchen and went the extra mile to be sure all the areas that needed it, got it. Ken did a great job laying down plastic over the carpet and floors, and covering up all the furniture and they cleaned up and vacuumed after the job. The place looked great! All in three days. I was and remain completely satisfied and would definitely hire them again. I should also add that they responded to my call within an hour and understood that I was under a severe time deadline and only gave them a weeks notice to do this job. And then the day before I had originally hired them to start I had to call and ask if they could delay starting by a day. They responded to my needs. Elizabeth was always extremely calm, friendly, and professional. I never felt any energy from her or her staff that they were rushed, hurried, or unhappy. They took their time to do the work right and well yet simultaneously worked hard and continuously. They stayed with the job all day and finished on time. I felt the price was affordable and right for the work done.

  • After a couple of phone calls I was able to get someone over to my home to estimate the cost of painting the walls and trim of my living room, stairs and entryway, and family room. The man that came to do the estimate was friendly, prompt, and seemed to know his stuff. He even called his paint supplier to check on the availability of a specific finish. When he left I expected to hear from him in about a week with an estimate. After three weeks I gave up on hearing from him. After a month I received an e-mail asking if I still wanted an estimate. I replied that, :Yes, I did.". That was the last I heard from PTL.
