    We were having problems with our front porch light, I installed a new one but that didn't correct the problem so we called Mr. Electric on Monday. We were told they'd be here on Wed. between 8 - 11 AM, they showed up at 8:45 and walked me through what they were doing and explained what the problem was. It turned out to be a relatively simple, at least for them, repair and when they were done the asked if there were any additional issues that they could help with. We did have a couple of other switches that we were having problems with and they quickly changed those without additional cost. I was very impressed and will definitely call them again when the need arises.

    Dale was punctual and prepared. He had the power company take down the service lines to the house and then he installed the new items. He spent one day and part of the next doing the work. He is extremely professional and pleasant to work with.

    Paul came out again and was professional and courteous.  He keeps every work area so tidy that you'd barely know he was at the house.  Paul worked around all the other craziness going on at our home including the fact that I was glued to my phone on infinite hold with a situation that had to be handled immediately.  The only downside I would say is if you need materials for the job, have them come out and tell you what to have on hand in advance or you will pay for the time while they go get what they need.  This could really save you a few bucks.  Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend this company and Paul!!!

    I got Dale's information off of Angie's List, I gave him a call after his work hours and left a message.  He returned my call within 20 minutes and we arranged for him to come out to the house the next day.  We have a very high ceiling and luckily he has equipment for that.  He showed up early and was able to take down the old chandelier and reinstall the new one, as well as switching out a faulty light switch in less than 2 hours.  I thought his price was completely reasonable and he was professional and so quick!  I will definitely use Dale in the future for any electrical issues in our house.

    Tyler at Mr. Electric has done work for me in the past. He is a true professional.

    Most recently, in September 2014, I called him to install a 220 dryer outlet and dryer vent.
    When Tyler was doing the work he accidentally cut my cable internet wire. Before I knew it, he had another truck there with his guys fixing it on the spot. Excellent service!
    When it came time to pay the bill, Tyler was ready with his iPad. I wrote him a check. He emailed me the invoice. Very efficient! The total cost was $189.77. I was expecting to pay much more.
    Total time for the entire job was less than an hour.
    I am very satistifed. I will always call Mr. Electric of the Black Hills when I need electrical work.

    I greatly appreciate the value American Electric  brought to the equation.  A previous electrician had "offered" to do the same work for almost $900 more!  Then he bagged out of the job with 4 days left until my tiler arrived.  The woman who booked my appointment was so understanding.  The guys showed up on time and called before they arrived.  They were done swiftly.  They advised regarding potential issues and offered solutions.  They completed the work at a very reasonable price.   Both men were personable and professional.  Since we were in the middle of a kitchen remodel, they had to work around my plumber while he was doing his work.  They were very gracious about it.  I'd hire them back any time!

    Did not provide all of the services and when I told them they wanted $350 more. After taking nearly a week to respond to my request to speak to a manager, Al was rude and hung up on. This is not the way to treat a disable female veteran who had adopted special needs children.

    Dale was polite and showed up at time indicated. Main breaker was in guest room and rather than offer to take off his shoes he stood on the bed with his shoes. Otherwise, I would recommend and would use again.

    Have used Mick's in the past and have been very happy with their services.  They were to install new electrical outlets bringing the outlets up to code.  Mick's called and said the tech could come a day earlier than planned.  Normally when the techs show up they either remove their shoes or they put booties over their shoes.  The tech did neither.  The work was done promptly and I am satisfied with the work.  However, his big old black tennis shoes left marks on my freshly painted trim.  Very unhappy about that.  I called Mick's and someone came over to remove the marks.  He was unable to remove the marks and stripped some of the fresh paint.  He offered to paint for me.  They did take $25 off the bill for me.

    I needed to get a 220 outlet installed for a new electric water heater. Dale was very honest over the phone and in-fact ensured I understood the pros and cons of what I was trying to do, something others I was working with hadn't done. After that I actually decided to cancel my project, but after a few days I realized it was my only option. He called me 30 min after my call and said he could be there in 5 min. He got the outlet installed and was extremely courteous and explained everything he had done and what I needed to know in the future. Will use Dale for all my future electric needs.
