AAwesome, Dr. Sarah Scott was very professional and even waited to make sure our pig was ok before leaving. We will definitely be using Dr. Scott and recommending this office again. Cost was reasonable, actually less than I expected and included medication.

AWe cannot say enough great things about this place, as I would not just leave my four legged babies anywhere. The facility is clean, secure with cameras, etc. , professionally staffed, great and secure fenced in areas. On top of making sure veterinarian records were updated. Medicine given daily. Megan is awesome and really cares and remembers all our babies. We have used them for years and will in the next month. Grooming is great too.

FWe recently had our three dogs booked at Chapin Pet Lodge for Thursday night through Sunday afternoon. We had three gift certificates each for a 3 day weekend stay. My wife dropped the dogs off on Thursday afternoon around 1pm. She then met me for an out of town weekend trip. After getting back into town, I went to pick up the dogs on Sunday around 1:30pm. We would have picked them up earlier, but they do not open until 1pm on Sunday. When I arrived I was asked about the gift certificates, and whether I wanted to buy some. I explained that I was trying to redeem the gift certificates, and not buy any. The woman at the counter said she wasn't familiar with the certificates and would have to call the owner. When the owner arrived, he got very defensive about the gift certificates, and stated they were for 3 days, Friday-Sunday, regardless of what time you picked up the dogs on Sunday. I explained that I didn't agree with this, and I thought they should be good for any three days. I said it wasn't fair to have to pay for Sunday when they do not open before the required check-out time (12pm). After disagreeing with him, I said I would pay for Thursday night's stay. I then asked about the play times and wanted to make sure we charged only for the times they were actually played with. They should have had 2 play times for the full days, but I expected they only had one play time for Thursday and Sunday. At this time, the owner, Jeff, became very angry and told the woman at the counter to just give me my dogs and not charge me anything. He said our dogs were no longer welcomed back there, and I apparently wanted everything for free. I was kind of shocked in disbelief with how the owner of a business could act like this. With the assistance of the woman at the counter and one of the owners son's, I got my three dogs and all their belongings. As I tried to get all the dogs and their belongings situated in my vehicle, the owner came out to leave in his vehicle. I told him I had planned on paying for services we had, and he abruptly told me that I never planned on paying and got in his car and drove off. I am still shocked at how an owner can act like this. After getting home, I read another review on Angie's list about how the owner, Jeff, treated a retired military veteran the same way when he questioned the military discount policy. I was disgusted at how he treated a member of our armed services. I understand as a business owner you can make your own pricing policies and rules, but there is no excuse at how this owner reacts when a customer questions the policies. He may need to attend an anger management course!

FI picked up my little 6 pound Shih Tzu after her grooming appt. In the car, she curled up on the seat vs. being happy to see me. I could tell something was wrong. When we got home, she couldn't walk. From her waist down, she seem paralyzed. Her head was hard cocked to the left. Her body seem bent in half sideways to the left. Her left ear was bent weird upward compared to her right. Her tail, instead of curling up on her back was curling horizontally to the left side. Very unnatural looking. I immediately took her to the emergency hospital. $1000 later, they explained she was clearly damaged. It would cost $2500 to do an MRI to confirm she may have been dropped. I couldn't afford it. They said she could have been dropped, they could have also gone in her ears and caused damage to her balance. WIthout the tests they couldn't be sure. They gave me meds and said to give her some time to see how she does. Even with the MRI there would be little they could do. Now a week later, she can walk, but her entire body tilts to the left. Her ear is still cocked and her personality has changed. SHe has no patience and she tries to attack you if you touch her hips. She doesn't want to be touched at all. So, I keep hoping she will continue to improve. I spoke with a regional manager at PetSmart who said to send the vet report. I never heard back from them. Now I will have to sue them. Gees. I then went online and research PetSmart problems and there are many people with similar stories. Just Google it and you'll see. THis sweet little girl has never had a sick day in her life. I bred her and was there when she was born. Her mother was a Champion Shih Tzu.

DThe fourth, and last time, our puppies were traumatized. We found out they had been exposed to a dog who had been severely abused. The dog went around and around in circles. Our puppies has not been bathed. The person at the register was very rude. The staff we had known was no longer there. We decided we would no longer take our pets there either.

BHad been going to Preppy Puppies for 2-3 years. Everything was great, except for one thing -- making an appointment. They have an answering machine for all calls, and they promise to respond the evening of the call or the first business day, if you call on a holiday or over the weekend. It was always hit or miss whether I got a call back or not. Really frustrating. There's got to be a better system for making appointments. I gave up and went to a different haircutter.

AABC GroomingI have a regular groomer, ABC Groomer, and I'm real satisfied with her. Their cost is very reasonable. I've been a long time customer. Their prices are great, comparatively. I had one Cocker Spaniel for 13 years and now I'm on my second one, who is two years old, so I've been using them 15 years. Obviously I'm happy.- Michael M.

ACanine Country Spa & SuitesCanine Country clipped my two Great Pyrenees down to a Summer coat and I was very pleased..However, I was even more impressed with the their handling of my rescue dog, an Anatolia n/Pyr cross who was very frightened..The groomer clipped her on the floor rather than the table because the dog was too upset to be placed on a grooming table..We were allowed to stay with her the entire time..How many shops would do that?- Martha K.

ABARNWELL OAKS KENNELSShe is wonderful. My dog is 10 years old. She is so gentle with him. She calls him Elvis cause when she gets around his mouth he does that lip curl thing. She does a great job. I would recommend her highly. The price is good. I wash and dry him I couldn't imaging having to clip him as well. He is so spoiled he would bite me. He lets her do it, but she knows what she is doing. He growled once when she was at her daughter's home. He does so much better in a professional looking place. It is a hard job. I can take him to her and have him back in 2-2.5 hours. She used to take him outside and let him walk around until I got there and then she would meet me at my car. They are very professional, and friendly. They do their job. They treat the animals with respect which is important to me.- Audrey H.
