    Two Men And A Truck
Packers were punctual and courteous. However they allowed piano to fall off cart as it was being carried down 3 steps. 2 men were performing life but the 3rd man just stood there watching as piano fell! Thank goodness it was damaged and the company did have a piano expert to examine it. But this piano has been moved twice by same company but different men without any mishaps. Then truck broke in transit but owner had tow truck carry it to our house. So we lost valuable time moving into our home. Pretty stressful. I did think that the owner should have given a discount or a voucher to us for all the inconvenience and stress. He's didn't even offer.

    Gentlemen Movers Inc
Not Great! Very careless movers that broke 2 pieces of antique furniture and were not too concerned about it. Best they were willing to do about it was gorilla glue it back together which was totally unacceptable! It will require professional restoration work if it can even be fixed at all. Finally begrudgingly took some money off the price.

    Moving Relocation Systems
Moving Relocation Systems responded to an online request for bids and information. I also spoke to several agents along the way and all of them were very satisfactory. They did a good job. Then I had a positive and informative interaction with their sales rep. He was the initial person I spoke with and I was persuaded to go with him and I have absolutely no regrets!

    WeCare Movers
I had used this company with good service before, but this time was so horrible, I had to review them. The 2 loaders clearly did not have much experience and caused our furniture damage. Within the first 10 minutes, one loader carried an awkward piece of furniture that was clearly too much for him (my husband offered to help but the guy said no), proceeded to bash it into a wall and broke a foot off (we knew we could fix it later so we didn't bother with the claims process). I think he was trying to hide the damage because when I followed him out to the moving van, he was actually trying to wrap the bench up in a blanket!! We had to ask him to stop so we could reinforce it and my husband and I put it in our personal vehicle so no more damage would occur!

We have moved over 15 times due to military employment, so we know how to load a moving van. We made the mistake of letting these loaders make their own decisions of where to put things and securing with rope that we provided. They proceeded to put heavy boxes on top of light boxes and plastic totes clearly labelled "fragile", crushing many of them. The rope they "used" didn't hold anything in place - it was loose.

When we saw how horribly things were being stacked/loaded, we simply told them we didn't need any more help when they ended 45 minutes early. We just wanted them out of there so we could move things around to better locations. It's a good thing that I had so many blankets and packed my boxes so well because surprisingly not too much was broken. But LOTS of furniture scratches where they ran into walls coming out of the house. They just were in too much of a rush and didn't take care with our items.

This definitely wasn't We Care Movers "A" Team.

    D&D Moving Inc
We got several other estimates, but decided to go with D&D. They were not the least expensive, but competitive. This was one of the best decisions of our out of state moving experience.  They were exemplary from the first phone contact in September 2013 to the final hand shake in March 2014.  Every member of their organization is professional, courteous and helpful. Derrek, the owner, Suzanne, who runs the home office, and Patrick, Mike and Jimmy who headed our move from Ohio were just invaluable in providing comfort during our out of state move.  They are available to answer questions prior to the move, they are prompt, polite and professional during the move and I would highly recommend them and would never consider using anyone else in the future!!!

    Two Men And A Truck
These guys were GREAT! Were punctual with the time given us that they would arrive. They were so personable and professional...handled our things with care...worked quickly...were a couple of hours quicker than projected. We would highly recommend this group....and not all Two Men and a Truck are created equal...this is the Cayce/West Columbia location.

    D & A Movers
Mr. Ruple provided a verbal quote a few weeks before the move. Lead time was 2-4 weeks.
They arrived on time and worked hard and fast. Fragile Items were diligently wrapped and protected. They arrived at the destination in a timely manner. They dis-assembled and re-assembled all furniture, beds, desks, etc. using their own tools. No surprise or extra charges of any kind. Mr. Ruple seems like an honest man.
*Positives: cost $, quick, handy, experienced and reliable if willing to accept some risk - see below.
*Negatives: no formal contract, just a verbal informal 'gentleman's handshake'. No inventory accounting. Dubious credentials: business card doesn't disclose address or license #. Doesn't accept credit cards.

They came out in late June/July. It was perfect. They did fine. We bought a package for 200 for 6 hours of labor and we got 2 guys. They did real good.
