    Dr. Dan Methuselah
Though bunion surgery is known for being painful, mine was not as painful as I anticipated.  He was concerned about the healing  as well as the regaining the ability to walk normal again.   I  was walking in a shoe about 2 weeks before expected and was able to go back to driving and work (it was on my right foot)
    Very helpful doctor and staff

The front desk was very nice she greeted me with a smile
The x-ray tech did 5 x-rays and she did very well.
The Dr that examined me came into the room and did greet me and tell me his name from there it went all down hill.  He was like a robot asking questions from a paper and not looking at me at all.  I tried to tell him my problems and he was not interested in the least.
I have worked with doctors for over 30 years here in Columbia and have experienced it all........he was the worst doctor I have ever came in contact with.  No bedside manner at all.

After the initial scan and diagnosis, I had multiple visits where the doctor talked with me for a few minutes, renewed pain meds and sent me home. Didn't do anything accept take mine and the insurance companies money.

    Gunter, Dr. Brett C
Gunter entered the room with a recommendation for surgery, which frankly suprised me. I thought he would try to talk me out of it for some reason. Of course, I needed the procedure and he was right to draw that conclusion. The procedure was scheduled for a few weeks later and everything went fine. I did have pain during my recovery for about a month longer than initially expected, but I was at about 95% after 90 days. Almost 2 years later, I'm still feeling great and have resumed much/most of my pre-injury lifestyle and habits. I'm just more careful about things - stinks to get old!

    Diamond, Dr. Raymond E.
I have been very pleased with the treatment I have gotten from him. I see him for my annual checkup. It seems to be going just fine. He is very conscientious. He listens to what I have to say and considers that in his diagnosis and treatment.

    West Columbia Internal Medicine
Dr. Cooper is a new doctor for me and this was my 3rd office visit. There's a big and better difference from my old doctor's office. Dr. Cooper changed my medications to get all my numbers right where they should be. He also listens to and understands the patient. I made another appointment to check my numbers and then paid my co-pay. So far so good. I definitely recommend West Columbia Internal Medicine.

    Morrow, Dr. Richard
I have just start using him and I have had two sessions with him so far, and both my visit have been very positive, right from the receptionist to the assistants, to the nurse who takes the information and the doctor. I like that he looked at my x-rays and that he wasn't quick to send me for a CT. He looked at me physically, through x-rays and at previous x-ray, because he was looking for kidney stones, so that's good. He is right now saying that I do not have any kidney stones, and if he has missed that and I do have a kidney stone I won't be happy, but I will know exactly how much I like him only about six months from now, because then if I get sick I won't be pleased. He was available and he was on time with his appointments. His bedside manner and his communication were very nice. The only thing I am not sure of is whether he should have taken a blood test, but he seemed pretty confident of himself, and so far so good.

    Kern, Dr. Jennifer M.
The appointment went great. I needed to see her and they got me right in. I don't know what is going on with my foot. She was great and she has fixed my feet. She has done surgery on my feet. The office is pretty nice.

I went to both the Irmo and West Columbia offices. Dr. Boyer is a very competant and friendly doctor. His staff is friendly and helpful. Especially if you have an insurance issue - they are very good at resolving that. Although I do not question his skills - it is hard to get an appointment and wait times are awful. The least I ever waited was 45 minutes and at times almost 2 hours. That's not acceptable to me. I would use them again but only because good healthcare is difficult to find around here - so if I have to wait for it then I do even though I don't like it.

I have now seen all the Doctors at this practice and have been very impressed. At the practice I went to with my first daughter you felt like herded cattle and they never had time to answer questions and you would wait forever for ultrasounds. This office has more than one ultrasound techs/machines and I have never had to wait long. Also each of the doctors have been very attentive making sure that I knew what the next apt held and took the time to answer any questions I may have.
