    Hendrix Fence
Never asked about options, seemed a bit greedy when I asked about addition services states: " you may to just do one at a time ." And smiled very greedily. Doesn't have Internet, states when asked about texting or sending quotes via email:" I don't really do that kinda stuff." This guys seems to be looking for a turn a screwdriver once and make 10 grand, I wouldn't use him.

The owner & helper arrived a little after the scheduled appointment time on both work days. They were the lowest price of the quotes. they quickly removed old & installed new fencing. They could have cleaned up more giblets of concrete around posts.

    Shepherd Fence
Great!  Lewis arrived when scheduled to give me an estimate.  I received two other estimates and decided to go with Shepherd.  Lee and David arrived when expected and had the fence up in no time.  They cleaned up after themselves and were great to work with.  I felt very comfortable leaving them at my house while I left to run some errands.

Wayne did an excellent job. I had no problems with this company at all. Job was done with me out of state but he stayed in touch whenever anything came up. Could not ask for more. Solved all problems quickly and in a professional way. Saved me money where he could. Great job.

    Shepherd Fence
The crew sent in to do the work was awesome!! They were so professional and courteous! I enjoyed watching that old fence come down and the new one going up. They made sure that each board that was used in the new fencing was perfectly cut to the best it could be. I was just amazed with their dedication to the job they were doing. The job was completed in the one day and was great! When they were finished, they cleaned up everything.  Even took the old fencing with them. That was great, because my husband wouldn't have to worry about loading it up and hauling it off himself!! At the end of the job, Ruby took me to look at the fence and answered any questions or concerns I had. (which were none) I was so pleased with the job they did! She was very professional as she walked me along the fence, and as I admired the job they did. I would highly recommend Shepherd Fencing to anyone! I would definitely use them again.  We are thinking about calling them in the near future to add a new gate to the other side of our property. Great job!! I am a very pleased customer!!!

    All American Fence Services
Everything was excellent with All American Fence. They communicated well, showed up on time, did what they said, and were very professional. They are responsive, but you kind of have to get with them a few times before you get on their radar.

    Creative Fence By Roger
As part of a backyard renovation, we contacted Roger about options for fencing. Roger arrived on time and was extremely professional, informative, and had fabulous pictures of his work. His references are fantastic and he and his crew have been building fences for a long time. Roger measured the area, talked about a few options, and told me he'd get back with me with a quote. Once we decided on a fence style and got into the schedule rotation, we were set.

They began the work a few days after the New Year 2012 and met their schedule absolutely on time and with minimal interruption for us. They even excavated some existing wooden and cyclone fencing and hauled it off. My neighbor was so impressed with their work , she hired them to tie in privacy fence gates into ours making the look seamless, yet separating the properties.

These guys use hand-selected 4x4 posts and 3/4 inch boards for the pre-fab panels and nothing flimsy about their structure. For the gates, they use 6x6 posts and build custom panels, reinforced with welded steel frames. And the hardware is top-shelf too.

We contacted a couple of other fence companies, and one was cheaper and the other has a great website and their techs have ipads. But if you want real craftsmen to build a quality, fabulous-looking fence that you and they will be proud of, Creative Fence is the way to go. Rogers's motto is, (paraphrased) If I build it right the first time, it's better for everyone. Better for you because you have a quality product and better for me because I stand behind my work and will have fewer call-backs. ...makes sense to me!

Several months after the install, we noticed 3-4 boards that were split or bowed a little (it's wood after all). We called them and they came right out, replaced the ones I pointed out and walked the entire fence line to inspect the rest. They found and replaced a couple that I really had not noticed and had just minor imperfections.

No hesitation in recommending Roger, his wife, Pam, and the entire Creative Fence crew!

    Midlands Fence
I called Midland Fence on a Wednesday and spoke with Cody. He said that he could meet with me the next day. The next day he called with 30 minutes lead time and when he arrived he promtly gave me a written estimate with start and completion date that was 10 days away. The next day Cody called and due to having a slight delay from the aluminum fence manufacturer, he would be 3 days later, which was perfectly fine as we were in no rush.He did show up actually a day early and installed our fence and it looks great.

    K9 Fence Company
Project ended up costing me more than originally quoted due to further discovery of broken posts instead of just leaning posts.  Paint job was more, and am not convinced that maybe too much applied to fence, also overspray on grass and shrubbery. End result, the fence looks pretty good as far as color and paint goes.  I am very unhappy that one leaning post was overlooked and not replaced. The post in question was hidden behind a very wide gardenia bush that was close up to the fence.  During the process of painting I noticed they only stuck the wand behind the bush to get at the fence and in doing so managed to get more paint on the bush than on the fence.  I brought out my clippers and asked them to please trim behind the bush so as to get the fence painted properly, I left them to do it and they did so.  At this point, I feel they should have seen the leaning post, they said nothing. At the end of the day, they let me know they were finished and ready to be paid.  I went out to look over the finished job, from inside looked good, I went outside and walked around to the back of the fence and noticed an area that needed more stain and that was when I first noticed a post was leaning and so had the fence sagging.  I pointed this out to Renee and she sprayed this section again, and said they would come back and replace the post they had not noticed as they were painting it.  This was the same post behind the gardenia bush, they had trimmed behind earlier.  I had her to write this on my invoice, and about when they would return. They have not been back. After numerous attempts at calling with no success, I was finally able to get her to respond to my e-mail, this resulted in a back and forth discussion with her leaving it up to her partner to call me and determine when and if he would come back and replace the post at no charge.  Renee said they would come back at a charge of $50 to replace this post, this covered the cost of post, time and travel.  I do not mind paying the cost of  the post, but feel as though they should have noticed that post and brought it to my attention while they were here.  Her partner has not called me. I had no problem seeing that post on the outside of the fence as well as inside after the bush was trimmed up.  I am left with feeling that they were in a hurry to finish, get paid, and get on their way, and hoped I would not notice.   So after $1850, I still have a saggy fence, although a very well painted one.  I am disappointed.   This outfit is also affiliated with South Carolina Fence.

    The Sherer Group Inc
They are a pretty small company. I spent probably $3500 on that service. They were very good and I would certainly use them again. They did a good job. They were great and they were booked up maybe a week or two in advance, but once we set the date, they came the day they said they were coming.
