Electrician reviews in West Columbia

    Columbia Electric Service Inc
Columbia Electric impresses me as a company that does not have any regard for their customers or customer service. They give false quotes that suddenly increase once they're on your property to do the job. Huge Disappointment. I'm retired, and on a limited income, so price changes are not always something I can handle. Shame!

    Columbia Electric Service Inc
We had our exterior electrical panel upgraded and moved to the side of the house and our electrical lines leading up to the house moved underground. The team did an awesome job of coordinating and implementing the installation of our underground lines. They were efficient, professional, and great with customer service. Would definitely hire them again.

    AAA Tribble's Electric Service
Mr. Charles Tribble came to our house on Sunday afternoon on February 24, 2019, and took let then thirty minutes to diagnose and then fix all of the electrical outlets outside of our home. The house front door light had gone bad and he waited for me to go to Lowe's and purchase a new and then installed it without charging us for it. He was just a delight for a business owner that didn't try to take advantage of the customer. We asked for his business card as we will be telling everyone we know about his services. Thanks again Angie's List for your help in finding the right candidate and the reviews was the biggest selling point. We will continue to use your website for future home projects.

JIM DANDY to the rescue, LLC
Two ceiling fans were installed. Clay was very personable and did a great job. Fees were more than reasonable. I would hire him again and I would also recommend him to anyone seeking a great handyman.

    Rytec Electric LLC
Jerry, the Electrician, arrived on time and got right to work. He was honest and professional and he quickly diagnosed the problem (loose wires in a nearby socket), and made the necessary repair. I want to state that I was so very impressed with Tyler's attentiveness to my situation on our call that I immediately asked him if they would provide an estimate for other, unrelated, electrical work I had been planning. Not only did I get an estimate, but Jerry was able to perform the additional work as well. These guys are honest and good-to-the-bone. They know their stuff and I am so lucky I found them today; when I really needed help. Thank you, Tyler and Jerry! I have saved your company's information and will pass along to everyone I know! TW

    Tru - Bilt Homes, Inc.
Tru-Bilt made living in a home while remodeling more stressful than it needed to be. The contractor would spit out empty promises and tell us what we wanted to hear and then make no or little effort to meet timelines. What could have easily been finished in a month took three months. The subcontractors complained about not being paid several weeks into the project so they obviously lacked motivation, they also told us they were told there was no rush completing the project. They were also not qualified to do some of the work they "did". When replacing shingles on the roof, they did not re-seal any of the existing shingles where they placed new ones, resulting in the roof leaking when bad storms came through all over my newly remodeled kitchen. They would give us every excuse imaginable, including blaming the homeowner for the electrical not getting finished because walls weren't painted...but when you work a full time job, it's just about impossible to paint walls in the dark in the evenings. Tru-Bilt gave the best quote and reasonable timeline to win the project and then spent more time asking for the next payments than getting the work done. We are still finishing up and repairing work Tru-Bilt did in our home. If I can recommend anything at all, it's to move on and don't even give yourself the hope of getting a good quote- it will not be worth it in the end.

It went very well. Jeremy was very professional, personable, arrived early and completed the job in a timely manner. With the coupon we found on Angie's list while looking for an Electrician really helped with the expense of the project. Thank you so much.

    Roby Services

Due to the sixe of the room a suggestion was made to add an additional 2 recess lights in my formal dining room.  Since I actually had 2 recess lights in my house I was only charged for the time and labor for adding these two lights.  Which was great.  I had the lights put in the downstairs.  It just so happened I had taken the carpet up in the room directly above my formal dining room and the electrician was able to go through the floor to make the necessary holes for the new recess lighting.  This is amazing because when he was all done with the lights only one spot needed to be fixed and that was where the old chandelier had been.  The electrician had patched the hole mostly and all I needed to do was fill in a few holes and paint over it.  With the dimmer light in that room and the 2 additional light,s this room can either be cozy or bright when needed.  The electrician also made sure the flooring in the room above was again fixed and back in place.  He even went out and picked up a few cross beams to ensure the floor was sturdy once again.  I had a light fixture changed out that had not been on his to do list for that day.  He was more than happy to change out the fixture and even let me know I had purchased a smaller dimmer then I was able to use on the light.  I am not knowledgeable in this area and that small piece of information made me pay a little bit more attention when I purchased more lighting a few days later.  After everything was done all the materials were collected up, trash was taken out, the rooms were swept and cleaned.  Roby Electric did a great job and I will be hiring them again in the near future!

When I first contacted Mike, he answered his phone the first time and was quite kind.  He was able to tell me an approximate price for what we wanted done but needed more info re: 3 or 4 prong outlet so I told him I would get back in touch with him.  The first call was on this past wednesday.  I called him again friday morning with the required info and asked when he could come out.  He came out this morning and we couldn't have been more pleased!  He was prompt, professional and finished said job within 30-45 minutes.  He went right to work and did exactly what we needed done.  Now, we can push our new oven all the way against the wall with the new plug outlet he installed.  Work was neat and he cleaned up after himself.  Very easy transaction and very professional man!  Would hire him in a heartbeat for any other electrical work we need done!   Thank you Mike!
