    Southern Coatings
He was very nice and knowledgeable. He was able to start the job quickly. He did some minor ceiling/wall repairs and painted the walls/coffered ceiling. He protected our hardwood floors from paint and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. It was very evident that he took great pride in his work. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. We would definitely hire him again!

    Tru - Bilt Homes, Inc.
Tru-Bilt made living in a home while remodeling more stressful than it needed to be. The contractor would spit out empty promises and tell us what we wanted to hear and then make no or little effort to meet timelines. What could have easily been finished in a month took three months. The subcontractors complained about not being paid several weeks into the project so they obviously lacked motivation, they also told us they were told there was no rush completing the project. They were also not qualified to do some of the work they "did". When replacing shingles on the roof, they did not re-seal any of the existing shingles where they placed new ones, resulting in the roof leaking when bad storms came through all over my newly remodeled kitchen. They would give us every excuse imaginable, including blaming the homeowner for the electrical not getting finished because walls weren't painted...but when you work a full time job, it's just about impossible to paint walls in the dark in the evenings. Tru-Bilt gave the best quote and reasonable timeline to win the project and then spent more time asking for the next payments than getting the work done. We are still finishing up and repairing work Tru-Bilt did in our home. If I can recommend anything at all, it's to move on and don't even give yourself the hope of getting a good quote- it will not be worth it in the end.

    Rainbow International Restoration of Columbia
The recent unexpected bathroom remodel by Rainbow International Restoration was professional and timely. Work included removal and replacement of tub, shower, vanity and flooring. Mold removal and partial wall replacement was completed. We are very satisfied with the coordination of the various crafts and final result.

    Midstate Renovations & Repairs LLC
Stairs were out of spec, had to hire someone else to tear them out and rebuild. Insulation around windows is real sloppy. Very seldom returned calls & always had an excuse. Would never recommend him to anyone. Feel we over paid for his services.

    A Owens Construction
He turned a nightmare into a dream for us. He stayed within our budget and had great options for us to choose from. He kept us informed throughout the process. He left the place clean and organized everyday before he left. I won't start another project before consulting with Avery. Thank you sir

    HAWK'S CONTRACTING
He came by, looked at the job and said he would e-mail an estimate to me. I never heard from him again. Also, he said that he didn't know he was on Angies List and some one else must have submitted his name. I found no indication of a license, insurance nor B.B. listing.

    Midstate Renovations & Repairs LLC
I am so pleased with the work that Adam Steptoe and his crew did for us.  I have to agree with another reviewer that Adam did a great job containing the dust and left us with a great looking finished ceiling.  He was at our door at exactly 8:00 a.m. as promised.  He is very easy to communicate with and was happy to discuss other work that I might want done in the future.  His work was modestly priced and completed according to the estimate.  When Adam noticed that the house has picture rail molding in every room except the bathroom, he added it to the bathroom ceiling so it would match the rest of the house.  I added on installing 2 ceiling fans that were not a part of the estimate.  He gladly did that too at a very reasonable charge.  Adam is very respectful, polite, and professional.....a very work-oriented young man who takes pride in his work.  There is so much renovation work to be done in this old house.  I'm glad I found Adam and will be using his company again.  I highly recommend Midstate Renovations and Repairs.

    M & T Home Maintenance Svc
I found M&T on Angie's list and I called the number listed. They came to give me an estimate for the front door. Which I hired them to replace. I liked their work and them. They knew what they were doing and I felt comfortable with them in my home. So, one thing led to another, and I would get an estimate for the next project I had in mind and it just continued till my house was complete. So, for the next year and a half, M&T has become family. I have dogs which I was always worried about them getting loose with people going in and out all day. So, I constantly said please make sure you close all the doors so I my dogs don't get out.  M&T respected my wishes and never had a problem. They were wonderful. Great people, great work. In fact, M&T is coming back to put a driveway in for me.

    Vasquez Painting
This is my second time using Mr. Vasquez and he is the most dependable contractor I have had yet.  I am remodeling my "avenues" home and have had much work done and this is my most reliable contractor.
The prices are reasonable / fair, the quality is there (and if there is something that didn't turn out the way you want it, he will get it fixed to your taste), and probably my favorite aspect is that for both jobs he started and finished on time and exactly as he scheduled.
I strongly suggest him for your drywall/plaster and painting.

    M & T Home Maintenance Svc
It all started with a dream and the men who are making it happen. We had ideas of what we wanted but nothing definite. All we had to do was start talking to the guys and they knew what we were trying to say. They drew a rough sketch and then we started. They gave us the measurements and we picked out the cabinets. Meanwhile they created a new kitchen. Cabinets arrived at 7:30 in the morning and M of M&T was here waiting for them. Now the fun begins
