Eric Potts, a prime example of the moral failings of modern society. Four thousand characters are not nearly enough to describe my distaste for the man and his shoddy work practices; but I will get into those later. Credit where credit is due however, he will go over and beyond...even trying to bend over backwards to complete the job. In this case, with trying to have an affair with my lovely girlfriend....He is truly an overachiever! Not only does he have time to spend with his wife and child, but also flirt with your wife or girlfriend. So if that is what your looking for...then five stars. Shame this is not an option to fill out on homeadvisor. You know, it actually would not be a bad option for women in need of help. Do you really want to hire a guy who systematically hits on women regardless of their status? You are inviting a stranger into your home after all. That said, if contractors could be rated on unwanted advances than he gets five stars. I know you probably assume I am the overly jealous type, which I am, but that is beside the point. Maybe you think I read into harmless politeness, but the texts he sent my girlfriend would tell otherwise. She informed me at the start as she was made uneasy around him and his staff. Often being texted past midnight, in a very unprofessional manner. Even if one is only texting about work, receiving a text at 1am is a bit rediculous. So, if the attempted adultery, and I say that in a kind way, as he had NO shot with her, wasn't enough to sway your mind then perhaps the incompleted job, rude service, and downright unprofessional behavior will. He broke more than he fixed, and wouldn't even admit to breaking them. I can handle accidents, I am human, and an apology would have been fine. But the sheer audacity to deny it is a bit childish. I have no idea how he split a structural brick in half at the base of a doorway, but he did with his ladder. He attempted to hide this by disposing of the brick but failed to hide the smaller pieces left on the carpet and in the doorway. He also dropped something heavy on the wood floor and tried to blame it on the electrician who had no access to the place at the time. Eric was the only contractor with a key. I did similar things as a kid, but if he thinks his work ethic is professional, then he should take responsibility for mistakes. Yes, I will admit there was an issue with the build and construction had to be out on hold until an engineer could advise. But before we could contact him, Eric bailed. In fact, it was a day after my girlfriend told him to stop hitting on her, he packed up and left, leaving a huge mess. He then attempted to charge us a large sum of money for the complete and utter mess. He pretty much ripped down the ceiling, left debris and nails all over the place, and overnight packed his equipment and was a large sum. We now face hours of clean up. I know construction is messy, but when all you manage to do is break some things, make the place worse, flirt then demand money for labor, it is beyond infuriating..There was much more work to be done that he could have worked on while other issues where resolved. In all honesty, he really shot himself in the foot by walking out. If he had shown some professional integrity, then he could have easily had many more months of labor remodeling some other jobs of ours. Perhaps he was in over his head or perhaps he found a responsive woman in need of assistance after Irma tore through the area. Sure, issues pop up in construction , but you have to wonder if you really want to trust him with your projects. Learn from our experience and be careful out there. Some women love a night in shining armor to try and woo them, perhaps he should realize that the woman should be his wife, not yours.

Great, job was done neatly within time and price quoted. Actually removed wiring left from job done by previous contractor that should have been removed by them.
