    A Touch of a Brush
Great! Owner Albert is professional and knowledgeable. Albert and his team are fast and efficient and are hard workers. Their attention to detail, quality of work and communication throughout the entire process was flawless. We are satisfied with their work, and will definitely hire them again in the future. The price beat all out other quotes even with the highest quality of paints.

Professional quote, well presented, with no up front payment. Angies list discount. Additional wood needed replaced and painted, as expected. Had the opportunity to watch the crew some and was impressed at their care while doing their work. Cleaned up afterwards. Well done by all involved. Highly recommended.

    Valentine Painting
Until now, we've never had any luck finding painters that are dependable and knowledgeable. Many only provide the labor: they can use a brush but have no expertise and are unable (or unwilling) to guide you on the proper prepping and materials needed to do the job correctly. Others are undependable: they constantly delay the start date, don't show up when schedule, don't return to fix mistakes, etc. Jim Valentine, the owner of Valentine Painting, was professional and promptly answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the proper materials and work needed to do the job properly. This was a big job and I wanted to make sure it was done right so it would last. I was concerned because some of the wood on the siding and deck was recently replaced while the rest was old. He guided me on all the different type of stains and paints needed to properly protect the exterior: the cedar siding on the house used one type of stain, gutters and garage doors needed a paint for metals, the foundation needed a paint for cement, the window trim, fence and shutters used other paints and the deck, porch and walkway areas needed yet a different type of stain. Although Jim was more expensive than some of the other bids, I felt I was paying for the expertise. Valentine's price was higher than the small companies/individual painters. However, many of those bids did not include the paint/stain in the quote and they said they "would do whatever prepping treatment I wanted" and would "paint with whatever I picked out." If I was a paint expert, that might have been fine. But I am not! Conversely, Valentine's price was slightly lower than the quote I received from one of the national, franchise paint companies and Jim was much more responsive. The paint crew (Noah, Elmer and Jennifer) did a great job and were pleasant to work with. Noah (the foreman) seemed to be genuinely concerned that the work was performed to our satisfaction. They completed the job well before my required completion date. In the past, we've put off painting projects because we always dread trying to find someone. Next time, I will call Valentine Painting first.

    SouthEnd Painting and Roofing Contractors
The job was done in two stages; first pressure washing, and then a day for the painting process. Everything was done according to the quote and was performed professionally. I would not hesitate to have this contractor do additional work at my home.

    Advance Contractors
Though weather twice delayed the start of painting, once started, the painters accomplished the overall task.  However, the job foreman was a little hard to understand with his English so communication about some details became frustrating.  I called the office to have one of the operations managers to call me back -- never got a call back.

    CertaPro Painters of Rock Hill
Provided with a reasonable estimate and scheduled work. First the painter called and asked to reschedule to following week. No problem. Then he failed to show up or call on appointed days. Called Certapro and got follow-up call from franchise owner who apologized. Said painter had been terminated and he would reschedule work with another painter and call me back next day. That was 9 days ago...and still no call back from the owner. This was not a big job, so apparently it was not very important to them. A total waste of my time dealing with Certapro.

    Straight Edge Painting Pros
I have had them out three separate times in 2 months. They finished a remodel of a kitchen by painting the walls ceiling and trim, also stained wooden beams to match floors. Wes was the only contractor that said he would take the time to get samples of stains mixed to match the floors to test before they were actually completed. Now they are finishing up removing the popcorn from the ceilings in 2 other rooms and 2 hallways. Also painted walls in front 2 rooms. Wes and his crew were on time and reliable. I know I am going to get a professional job every time.

    Straight Edge Painting Pros
Previously painted brick house was washed and trim painted. 2 trim boards behind gutters were replaced. Doors and shutters received  new green color. Brick was only painted on three sets of steps and at the bottom of the house where it has worn off. Paint was matched up professionally. The white on the bottom blends great. House looks new. Good price, was painted 7 years ago for practically same price.

    Straight Edge Painting Pros
Wes and Gustavo did a great job on my house. They painted the entire exterior of the house, deck handrails, and pool house. I found very few companies that wanted to take on the height of my house in the backyard. These guys were neat, replaced more wood than we initially thought, and even came back to take care of a couple small detailed items that were missed. Overall great experience that I will share with my friends and neighbors.

    SouthEnd Painting and Roofing Contractors
We received several quotes for the above work and SouthEnd was the best price for the work. Benito and his crew showed up and worked hard everyday. Each day there was great progress making it easy to see that they were knowledgeable and efficient. Given more time a better review can be written.
