    Creative Colors International
This was a great experience. Price was right, showed up on time and work was exceptional. I had a small tear and a larger tear that needed replacing on my leather sectional couch. After the repair was finished, my father could not even find the spot that was repaired because it blended in so well.

    2001 CLEANERS
The guy that owns this business works in the same building as me. At lunch I walked out of my building and passed him on the street. He saw my shirt and told me to bring the shirt by his cleaners and he guaranteed he would get the stain out. I brought the shirt by after work and after two days they totally removed the stain. The owner called me the next day to assure me that they would remove the stain. I am impressed with the fact that he took the initiative to gain my business. I also was impressed with the technology they use. They use a bar code and machinery to ensure that your clothes are not lost. The charge might be a bit pricey, I think it's 2.50/shirt but this is a great place to drop your clothes off for high quality and stain removal. I use a dry cleaners near my home, but if I ever have a bad stain again I will definitely take it to this place.

    K W GEMS
Looked around Charlotte for someone to do some work (modifications) on a watch I had. The watch repair shops in Charlotte that I talked to either didn't understood what I wanted or they did not do this type of work on watches. I did not want to ship the watch somewhere to do have the work done due to shipping costs, etc. KW Gems is right around corner from my house in Fort Mill, SC, so I decided to stop in one Saturday morning. I talked to the owner for a while and showed him what I was looking to do to the watch. It turns out that along with being a jewelry repair expert and designer, he is also is an awesome watch guy. He knew exactly what I wanted and did awesome work. The first watch he did for me turned out beautiful and so have the 2 others he has done for me. The price was fair and much more cost effective than if I had of shipped it somewhere for the work. The store also has a great selection of jewelry and watches. Little did I know that this place was in my own backyard. Highly recommended.

    JEWELRY & WATCH DOCTOR
Work was well done. Very friendly sale and repair associates. Repair was done promptly and on estimate. I also was given information about future appraisals for other jewelry and coupons. I plan on using them in the future for other jewelry.

    The Jewelry Stop
I picked out a setting from a catalog and returned a week later to have my finger sized & to look at the setting before any work was performed.  Unfortunately I didn?t like how it looked with my anniversary band.  They were more than happy to help me pick out one that was a better match.  They had one in their cabinet that was a perfect match, so they used that as an example to custom make a ring with my diamonds.  It came out perfect & looks awesome with my anniversary band.  They offered to buy the old settings, but they understood that I wanted to keep them for sentimental reasons.  I would definitely recommend The Jewelry Stop.

    CAVE DWELLERS CLEANERS
Usually when I take shirts to the cleaners, they ask, and quot;do you want light or heavy starch?and quot;. They did not offer and did not apply starch. Usually when I take shirts to the cleaners they will replace the collar stays. They did not. When asked if they could sell me some, I noticed she couldn't speak English and didn't know what I was talking about. She had her little daughter, probably 7yrs, there who interpreted, but the lady still didn't seem to understand. So, yes, I have clean shirts (I could have done that myself), but I still have to re-iron them and I have to find some collar stays. I took them to the cleaners to avoid this.

    Sew it Up
Miss Connie was terrific! She was always on time, call to confirm appointments, etc. She brought spread back for a test fit, and made adjustments. She is a pleasure to work with. The only surprise was for 50% down oh the expected work. I hadn't seen any comments regarding that requirement. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend Miss Connie to friends.

    Jack Barefoot & Associates Inc
Mr. Barefoot came in my home based on me buying his services on Angie's List. I only let him in the house because he was on Angie's List. To my surprise not only is he reasonable, but he does outstanding work. He has repaired several antiques in my home that look like they were never repaired. He took the scratch marks off of a leather ottoman that my ridiculous dog scratched. You would not know the scratch marks are there. He has been in my home working consistently 4 or 5 times. I would recommend him highly to anyone as professional, reasonable and polite. He is the nicest person who does the nicest job. You could not ask for a nicer person to come and fix your things.

    The Jewelry Stop
My current setting was starting to wear. The owner offered to either repair the setting but indicated that it might happen again (it had already been repaired once by a different jeweler). He gave me a quote for the repair work and showed me new settings. I chose a new setting, he gave me a written quote and told me when the work would be complete. The work was complete when he said it would be. He thoroughly cleaned the diamond prior to resetting it. Overall I was very pleased with the whole process.

    Sew it Up
Because these were custom slipcovers, they took awhile to complete, and Ms. Conni did all of the more complex work on-site where she could check and measure everything as she worked. She was very flexible, working with my schedule, and always arrived when she said she would. This is the second time I've had Ms. Conni sew items for my home and the quality of her work is outstanding. Ms. Conni put a great deal of hard work into our slipcovers, and it shows. She spent a great deal of time with me at the fabric store, helping me pick and choose our fabrics. She was so helpful, I don't think I ever would have been able to choose the fabrics on my own. Her prices were terrific, and thanks to her new slipcovers we'll get several more good years out of our battered original furniture. I will only work with "Sew It Up" for my curtains and other sewing needs. Ms. Conni is a special, generous, caring and professional woman and I always look forward to working with her.
