Apex Termite & Pest Control Inc
For several years now, I have used Apex for termite inspection & quarterly treatments. Recently had a rental property which had a flea issue. I contacted Apex to treat, treat again, treat again, treat again & still the fleas were not gone. They offer a 30 day guarantee, but when I would contact them to let them know that the fleas were still there, I was told that with that much chemical that there was no way. Never once was an inspection done to find out the source....just more chemical. It took over 1 week to get a list of the dates the property was treated & what chemicals were used. I spoke with Nikki & was told that she would have George (supervisor) to contact me. I spoke with Linda & was told that she would have George (supervisor) to contact me. Almost 1 week later, still did not heard from George & this was not the 1st time. I had another pest control company come by to double check for termites at my primary residence. We had enclosed our garage in prior to Apex checking & treating for termites, so the new company advised me that it had not been treated since there was no access and no drilled holes in the foundation to provide protection. This is when I decided that I no longer needed Apex's service. I wrote a letter to advise them that I no longer their service for any of our properties. This is when I finally received a call from George. To some, they may feel differently about Apex, but I feel as if I was taken advantage of.

    Bulwark Exterminating - Greenville
Bulwark does a great job with service!  They had a full schedule, but routed me to a manager who scheduled and completed the work for us.  He was on time, no pressure for continued service (just went through what I could have done in the future if I chose to), and completed the work with minimal interruption.
Was great to finally work with a company that seems to value the customer. There are so many on here that apparently have more work than they need at the moment and treat customers poorly as a result. People need to start filling out the Reviews, and putting correct and honest information so that we can all use the services of excellent providers, and drive the poor ones to the bottom of the list!

    Spencer Pest Services
Spencer Pest control was very prompt from beginning to end.  From the initital contact to the end of work, they were professional and courtious.  I expected them to try and sell me on additional services.  They did present me with what they can do in the future but I felt no pressure to add anything onto the services provided at the time.  There was a free termite inspection at the same time.  I was informed of some issues under the house but it was not presented as doom and gloom or that the house would fall apart.  Great advice that will keep me thinking of them for any future service required.
    Bottom line, Great people!

    Compass Pest Management
Servicemen were courteous, respectful, prompt and on time. Our only complaint was with the owner Dale who was very argumentative and did not return phone calls and did not explain the contract in full detail.

Terminix - Greenville -Termite & Pest Control
They do a good job. They do their job and they call me to schedule appointments and pretty much if when they are needed. There’s nothing really spectacular about them. I don’t have any problems with them.

The phone number listed in Angie's list is incorrect but i found thru yellow pages.  The owner returned my phone call promptly.  He was unable to schedule an appointment for almost a week due to his busy work load.  I unfortunately had to reschedule due to plumbing repairs that needed to be done at that time but he was able to reschedule easily.    I did have another service provider spay the place approximately a month and a half prior to this but the fleas were still there. My tenant has not complained about the fleas since.

    Hired Killers Pest Control
i contacted them via phone to have them spray my home that i had just vacated and rented out. They were given all the pertinent information to bill me. they went to the home - were supposed to call my tenant prior to arriving but did not. sprayed and left. I received a letter and a bill for the services 3 months later with a note - and quot;we haven't received your paymentand quot;. Their fee for spraying for fleas indoors was $125. I had to have the property sprayed again the next month though i used a different provider this time (who only charged $85!). I have had no complaints from my tenants since then. (I have tried to spray for fleas myself using professional grade supplies and have had to spray several times so this review is not necessarily that their product didn't work .....)

    A Healthier Home
Mr. Bayless inspected the crawl space  closely as the mold was everywhere, even in my heat pump vents.   I felt that he found so many unexpected  issues that he ran out of time,  he spent several hours checking everything,  but  I wish he had had more time to inspect  the sun room ceiling panels where there was also mold found, because that was the reason I had  called him.  But he also makes recommendations about any safety hazards encountered or wasteful energy practices, etc.  His inspection is definitely worth the time and investment.  He also made himself available in the future  for any questions about the photos or the report.  If I had not found Mr Bayless(although he certainly is not a vet), I don't know what I would have done;  my cats had been getting ill and were on antibiotics, sneezing and coughing, and I had no idea what was wrong with them.  After his visit it was easy to guess what had been going on.

They came and looked at the problem the day I called (a Friday) and I had a bid for doing the treatment and repairs by Monday.  The work was done well and if I have issues in the future I would call them again.

My RE agent arranged for Noah to do inspections on homes I was considering buying. The first inspection went fine but when I went to pay in cash he could not provide any change so I had to overpay pending a second inspection process.
The second inspection a couple of weeks later was set for a specific time as set by Noah and the RE agent and agreed upon by me. Noah and his son showed up to inspect a small house on a slab a half hour early. The homeowner, who was supposed to be working, came home and quot;for lunchand quot; and was on the premises during the inspection process. As previously stated, I had this inspection done for my benefit only. I expected to be able to walk around with the inspector and listen to any comments he had. I did not expect the seller to have access to the inspector in my absence. When the RE agent and I showed up at the appointment time, the inspector was ready to leave. He was literally standing in the street about to get in his truck as I arrived. He stated he didn't and quot;see anythingand quot; and later emailed a standard canned report to the agent. I was very suspicious because the homeowner literally ran to her car because according to the RE agent she was not supposed to see me. I let the issue slide at that time. I closed on the house 3 or 4 weeks later.
Two months after closing, I had a storm door installed but the doorjamb was damaged. It was at that point I could see the wood trim was patched and repaired. If one was looking for some sort of problem issue in the doorways, it was really easy to see this patch job. I just never got down there to look but I assume the inspector would have done so. My RE agent said the inspector would not return unless I had the storm door uninstalled first. I made arrangements with another inspector to view the problem area and he said the first inspector should have seen it and also should have seen water damage to the wood posts on either side of the garage door and reported both of these issues to me. Who knows what Noah was looking at? Obviously he was not looking out for my best interest even though I was the customer.
