    I read the negative reviews about being late or not showing up but yet I still called to schedule appointment. Supposed to show up between 11:00 and 2:00, dispatch calls at 1:50 and said they���re about 15-20 min away, I had an appointment myself so I cancelled plumb pro���s, some of these service companies think they���re the only ones that have a schedule.

    Showed up on time and were very professional. Only minor gripe is the quality of wood. A lot of it was irregularly shaped and some of it was really long so it didn���t fit in the fireplace without cutting it again

    Very well. It was a nasty job, but the cleanup for me was minimal. And considering how long he was here, and what he did, that is saying something. He cleaned up before he left, but I knew there would be a thin layer of soot to deal with on other surfaces.

    We used them for some renovations in our main home.  We had to have a special valve installed for our gas fireplace and I hired them to do that.  I would give them A across the board.  What's my favorite thing about this company?  The speed in which they do the work and the professionalism that comes along with it.

    They were supposed to inspect the chimney and clean the chimney.  That's what I thought the Big Deal was and that's what I was expecting.  But he just thought our roof was a little higher and he could have got to it with the ladder;  he said he would go get the ladder and return after the Thanksgiving holidays, he said I'll be there the first week of December.  I remember that kind of vividly because it was right around Thanksgiving and he said he'd be back the first week in December, and I never heard back from him.  We called him one time and left a voice message on voicemail, but at that point Christmas was coming and we just said we just don't want to deal with this guy if he's not going to go ahead and fulfill what he knows he needs to fulfill.  For not responding back at all, I would presume to give him an F.  Nothing came out of it and it was extremely poor communication.   To improve their service, in my own opinion, respond to customer's needs and follow through with what you say you're going to do.

    Upon a thorough inspecting the problematic fire log unit, Scott did not find the leak on his first visit, and admitted that he did not feel he had. He did clean out the unit so the pilot worked better. Two days later, we identified that the leak was between the turn on valve and the pilot, and he rapidly carved out time for a return visit to repair the dangerous situation. While under the house to replace the damaged tubing, he voluntarily checked the tubing on another fire log unit while he was at it. Appreciated the customer service. Scott was prompt, personable and truly wanted to find and solve our leak problem. Hated to pay for two visits -- and take off work for two visits -- for the same problem, but price was reasonable for both. Would definitely hire again.

    When I was called back, the lady sold me the chimney inspection and cleaning and stated the technician would advise of anything that he saw. The technician apparently only received the instructions to clean and inspect. When they called the day after the service, I complained that their was nothing about the chase. The technician responded after 2 days saying he was not required to get on the roof to inspect the chimney cap and chase that I requested. Their web site states they offer this service. He also said it was too high to get on the chimney and he wasn't prepared to do so. This was in spite of the fact that the roof is accessible from a deck. He took pictures of this and sent them to me. In my opinion, this company was only interested in selling what they want and not what the customer wants. I will never hire them.

    I went to Lowcountry Landscape on Orangeburg Road in Summerville and paid for a stack of firewood.  When I went to the stack, the wood was mostly trash pieces, averaging 10-12 inches instead of 16-20 inches previously provided. I needed firewood, so I was willing to accept the loss in value since I was there.  When I was loading, a worker came out and accused me of stealing firewood off another stack.  I did not take any firewood off another stack and am an honest person.  I resent the accusation.  I will never buy firewood there again.

    It was a pleasure working with this company.  He was responsive and pleasant (even came late after a long day) and cleaned my chimney so I could use it when the weather started getting colder.  They laid tarps to not soil my light colored carpet and were very professional.  They found a couple concerns with my fireplace and provided an estimate for repairs I may want to consider at a later time but were not pushy trying to get me to spend more money right now.  Two days after my chimney sweep, my son's heat went out.  I gave them this company's information and they went and serviced my son's chimney they next day (SUNDAY I might add) so my son, his wife and two grandbabies had some heat while we waited on the Heat/AC repairman the following week.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

    After the flooding our fireplace was not working and the mantel was destroyed. Joe met us over there the first time and cleaned/serviced the gas fireplace and fixed a blown electrical switch. He also ordered us a new fireplace mantel and installed it when it came in two weeks later. It looked great. They were responsive and easy to work with. The fireplace surround is perfect and looks amazing.
