House Painting reviews in Sullivans Island

    Triple R. Maintenance, LLC.
Extremely well. I told Johnny to treat my house like it was his house. If he saw something we needed to address, he brought it to my attention and gave me options for timeline and repairs. The initial roof repair was done on a fixed estimate. We are now at the point where they buy the materials with a 20% markup and charge by the hour. The workmanship has been very good, and Johnny checks behind his crew to see that things are done to his high standards. I would use Triple R Maintenance for any work I need done on any of my properties moving forward.

    Five Star Painting of Charleston
Fantastic! I typically only write reviews when I have experience that is above and beyond expectations. Bryan, from the start, was professional and very willing to work with my timeframe. I'm not living in Charleston right now and my availability was limited. He came out to the condo twice initially at my request - one time to do the estimate and the second time when I could be there to meet him in person to confirm colors, etc. I had just had my floors done and this had been a nightmare situation; I was not happy with the results ( I went with someone who was not on Angie's list and that was a big mistake), so I was really hesitant about doing any more work on the condo, but it needed to be painted. When I met Bryan, he answered all my questions and just put me ease that the crew he had were people he had worked with for years; he did NOT subcontract out! They started when they said they would and finished when they said they would... And not only are the results beautiful, the painters were neater and more precise in their painting than I ever could have expected. And, Bryan was aware that I would not be available to supervise, that I was out of state. He and his crew had open access to the condo and could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but they absolutely remained above board. His crew was amazing. Not only did they do an amazing paint job, but they were neater than any work crew that I have had out at my condo. I had asked Bryan to fix some holes and cracks in the walls, and they had to do these with no lights in either of the bathrooms. Again, Bryan worked with me on everything. My friend went by my condo the first night and sent me pictures. Everything was so clean and neat, as if they'd never been there, but they had been there because the new color was on the walls!! My friend was very impressed, especially after she saw the finished product. She praised the work to me over the phone! Given the fact that I'm a female and that I wasn't going to be around to monitor the paint job, there was more than enough opportunity for Bryan and his crew to take advantage of the situation. The exact opposite- Bryan called me when his crew had finished and said that he would have one of his supervisor's he's worked with for 7plus years to come out again and see if she couldn't address an area behind my front door that he didn't like!! Who does that? Only people who are honest and take pride in their work! It's the best Christmas present ever! And it's been such a relief for me to work with someone who is trustworthy and conscientious. I am over-joyed that I had Bryan and his crew paint my condo. I will use them again and again and will spread the word! My friend wants his contact info to paint her home. And as far as price, Bryan was slightly ($100 or so ) more than another quote, but I went with Bryan because I had a gut intuition about him and didn't feel that about the other person. So far Angie's list has not steered me wrong or my gut! Bryan has restored my faith that there are really good, honest, and ethical people in the home improvement industry! You should choose Bryan and his crew for all your paint needs! I recommend him without hesitation!!

    Charleston Painting Contractors

I was disappointed in the quality of the work. I had received 2 bids for this job and picked Charleston painting even though they were 1,000 dollars more. I looked at their reviews and they were consistently A's. I would not say this was A work.

The work site at the end of every day was a mess. Screens they had taken down were thrown on the yard. Cans and bottles they drank from were strewn around the yard. Rotted wood taken down, just dropped. The site was cleaned at the end, but a long week.

As to the painting job, many things were not done well. Very rushed. Less then a professional paint job.  Some of the replaced wood was not done well. There are many paint drippings on the steps. Items should have been caulked and were not. It was a lot about the details. The best example is the fact that they painted around the house numbers and did not take them down first. Making the side of the numbers covered in paint. From a far that's fine, but when you are standing at the front door it's unacceptable.

    Diamond Enterprise Inc
The owner Rick has worked on 3 of my homes.  $6K,  9K,  36K contracts.  He is in command of his jobs.  His labor is efficient, well supervised, professional and trustworthy.  I can think of nothing negative concerning any of the three jobs he has performed for me.
There is nothing concerning a home his operations can not repair, fairly, competitively and with an extreme degree of excellence.  The last job consisted of him having to work around 4 vacation renters over a 45 day period.  I never received one complaint and did not have to discount the previously agreed upon rental contract (8 months previously agreed to).  His labor is extremely well supervised by him and his supervisors.  They are extremely well mannered and trustworthy.  On few occasions one of his crew would find someting of perceived value and insure it was pointed out or handed to me.  I am impressed with this company.
Work was performed in Hanahan, Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms residences.
