    Jervey Eye Group PA
I use them because we have a vision fund- they are one of the providers for our vision plan. It is a pretty nice office. The eye test was good and it seemed to be thorough. I liked the information that the ophthalmologist gave me.

Dr. Stevens is very knowledgeable and personable. He is fairly prompt. I wait no longer then fifteen minutes before going back . The staff is wonderful. They were very accommodating. I have been seeing Dr. Stevens for two years. I really like them. They are really good.

    (This was my husband's experience.)
Made appointment but had long wait past appointment time. Seemed to be rushing through exam.
Average availability of frames. Frames/glasses a little expensive. Staff were helpful in selecting.
Took approx. 1 week to get glasses.

After a short wait in the eye glass department, during which time my wife picked out a frame that she liked, a very nice young lady asked if she could help. We sat down with her and she explained the various features they offer in the bi-focal lens glasses that were available. My wife picked out split lens bi-focals with tinted lenses. Then she told us the price - we were shocked; over $700 !
Not only that, but Jervey would only file a claim with Medicare to reimburse us. They wanted full payment that day ! Also, they refused to file a claim for us to our secondary insurance which would have paid the balance for a reasonable cost pair of glasses.

    Heitman, Dr. Kurt F
I went to Dr. Heitman for cataract surgery. I was very nervous and apprehensive about having surgery on my eyes, but he put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. The surgery went well and the vision in my one eye is much better than I expected. The other eye is scheduled to be done in two weeks. Dr. Heitman is a very capable and skillful opthamologist and eye surgeon and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any type of eye problems.

    The Nigh Eye Group
I have known Dr. Nigh for almost 40 years. I have used him at different
times. He has always been very professional and I have received good
care and treatment from him. He may not be the cheapest but I believe
the services I received were worth the money I paid. I would recommend
him to anyone. I have not used his son who is in business with him.

    Hillcrest Eyecare
She gets her eyes examined every year. We have been going to Hillcrest Eyecare since 2008. It is a general optometry place. I have an autistic daughter and they are very good with her. They are very responsive, you call and you can get in right away. They also have their glasses selection. You can get your glasses at the same location, so you have the optometry and once the card has been filled you get the glasses or contacts on the other side and I like that. They are very convenient. If you have an issue with the glasses they fix it right away. I would like to recommend them.

    Riddle, Dr. Keith
I don’t need to compare them to other office I just went there for evaluation.  I have friends who go to them as well.  I have no bad experiences.  They were professional.  The technology they use makes me so confident.  I didn’t have problem scheduling with them.

    Parker, Dr. Anne
I worked in eye care, so I know. She is brilliant, up to date on everything and her work is beautiful including her cataract surgery and LASIK. My son and daughter-in-law have not had any problems. They have not had to wear glasses for many years. My daughter-in-law was almost blind, her glasses were coke bottle thick. She had very poor sight and now she reads and sees with no problem at all.

I came in and signed in and went to the waiting area. In about fifteen minutes the tech came out and got me and took me to an exam room. She asked me about current medications and inquired if i had been having any problems with my current contacts. I answered that I was experiencing really dry eyes after wearing them at work for 12 plus hours. She noted on my form that I was having a problem and she checked my eyes with the old contacts in and made some notes for the doctor. Dr. Ying came in in a couple minutes and talked to me for a few minutes because I switched from one of the other doctors in the practice to see her. I found her very friendly and personable. She asked me a few questions about my history with contacts and checked my eyes. My prescription had not changed in many years so she told me I would be a great candidate for Lasik surgery. I told her that would be something I could do later but right now I just needed my contacts to not dry out so quickly at work. She recommended a few different types and expalined the pros and cons of each. We narrowed it down to two different kinds and she gave me a trial pair of each and told me to wear each one a couple weeks to see which I liked the best and call her back and she would get them ordered through my insurance and write my RX. I checked out and paid my copayment. I tried both pair for two weeks and found that I liked them both. I called back and we ordered as many boxes as possible through my insurance and I picked up my Rx.
