    Sealing Solutions
Somehow our builder totally failed to waterproof the foundation on our new home. But after our basement flooded and we yelled and screamed for a few weeks, eventually they sent Sealing Solutions out to correct what wasn't done right initially. They excavated, sprayed waterproofing, and installed the drainage systems that our builder failed to do.

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
The Falcone crew was great from beginning to end. Bobby showed up on time to meet me to hear my concerns and give me an estimate. He explained what would be done and answered all my questions. He did not try to oversell me.
After initially scheduling the work, an unexpected issue came up that meant I had to reschedule. The office staff at Falcone was polite and helpful and got my job rescheduled for my convenience. The work crew showed up on time and called me each day (the job took 3 days) to let me know how the work was progressing. Before the job was done, they met me at the house, explained everything they did and allowed me to inspect the work before I paid them the final installment.
Unfortunately, not a week passed before we had another big rain and it became obvious that the drains originally installed were not sufficient to handle the amount of water. I emailed pictures of the situation to Falcone and they responded immediately. Within days someone was at the house (on Christmas Eve in fact) to put in some stop gap measures to get rid of the water.
The next week, the crew leader from the original job came back with his crew and completed the work. The underside of my house is now completely dry and I do not have to worry about taking a swim when I step off my back deck.
Some might say that Falcone does not deserve an A because they "did not get the job right the first time" but I disagree. I would be willing to bet that this crew never saw a situation quite like mine before and so it does not surprise me that they underestimated the amount of water that would accumulate. What is important to me is that they very quickly conceded the error and promptly corrected the mistake without further charge to me. Everyone at Falcone was at all times polite and professional.
I will admit to some sticker shock about the price. But when all is said and done it was totally worth it and the problem is corrected. I would highly recommend Falcone and would definitely use them again.

    Sealing Agents Waterproofing

I called and asked for a quote. The salesman, Chris called me back and set up a time to come out. He was on-time to look at the work. He told me that he would get me a quote in the following few days. Several days went by and nothing. I called him and asked about the quote. He said he had emailed it. I checked my junk box etc. and no email. He said he would resend it when he got into the office later that day. Never did. I called again and he said he would send it from another computer. To this day, no emailed quote and no phone call to follow up.

I had an experience with this company through a builder some years ago and service was good then. Don't know what happened. As a remodeling contractor, I had recommended them in the past when asked about waterproofing, but won't any longer.

I just wanted an estimate to get my issues resolved and they couldn't handle that. Oh well..... Will look elsewhere.

    Moore Home Services
Moore came out within a few days and then provided a quick estimate for us to compare.  We scheduled the work approximately a week later and they arrived as per the schedule.  There were some delays while they waited on some materials but they did a nice job and our crawl space looks good enough to eat off now!!!

    BioTek Environmental Inc
I called the company phone number which was a number in Columbia, SC on a Friday evening. The owner answered, and he told me that they have an office in my area of Greenville, SC. He was extremely nice and helpful. Very knowledgable. He said that he would have a representative of BioTek call me.  Within five minutes, I got a call from Bill K, in BioTek's Mauldin office.  He was extremely professional and knowledgable.  I was very concerned about the possibility of mold in our house's air vents, and I knew that we had mold under the house.  Bill came by the next day (Saturday), and did an inspection of the entire house.  He took air samples inside and out. He took pictures under the house, and he went pretty far back into the crawl space to inspect.
Within a few days he had an estimate, and the result of the air samples. The house was fine, but there was mold under the house. They took out all of the old insulation and plastic under the house. Scrubbed the mold off, and put fans in to dry it out. Once the crawl space was dry, they sprayed the wood and sub-floor with an anti-mold type of covering, and then let that dry.  I believe that they put on several coats. They came back later and put down some black, heavy duty plastic, and then installed new insulation. They also installed a humidity monitor which we keep in our kitchen to monitor the moisture content under the house.
We did not install a dehumidifier as he wanted to wait and see if the humidity will stay below 60% without having to pay for the dehumidifier if it's not needed (which I greatly appreciated). The craw space looks good.
I would highly recommend Bio Tek to anyone who suspects that they have a mold issue.  They are honest, and will not recommend anything that is not needed. All of the Bio Tek individuals were professional and friendly.  They were also always on time. The warranty is good for 30 years, and can be transferred if the house is ever sold.  Overall, a great experience.

    Spencer Pest Services
The technician was perfectly wonderful. I received a very prompt phone call to schedule an appt, of which I had a primary as well as back up due to weather in the area. He was on time, pleasant, and thorough. They had advised me it would be an additional 99.00 to receive a written report of which I saw included in the deal but they advised that meant something different in their office.

    Bradley Construction LLC
We hired Bradley Construction to fix our basement waterproofing issues.  They gave us an original quote of $2740.00 to come in and install a waterproofing membrane and piping to move the water from the corner of our house along the front to the other side to drain out.  We were told this would most likely correct our issue.  During the job, they said additional materials would be needed, and the quote rose to $3440.  Within a couple of weeks, we had a couple of rainstorms and discovered it didn't work.  In fact, it had become worse, as the gravel drain they installed at the end of the pipe was nothing more than about two handfuls of gravel (discovered later), and quickly became clogged.  This caused the pipes to sink, as well as back up, and water was now gushing UP out of the drain head.  After numerous emails with photos and several calls, they came back out and installed connectors for the new gaps.  They offered the next "probable" solution and said they needed to do more work which would include bringing in large equipment, digging all the way down and starting the membrane from the very bottom.  This would cost approximately an additional $10,000.00.  We weren't too hopeful that the 10K job would fix our problem, especially since the $3440.00 job didn't fix it.  Nor did we have an additional 10,000.  That day, he said he'd get another expert to come out to review the situation and see if there were any other options available.  We never heard back.  We then realized the drain was clogged at the end and wasn't large enough drain area to accommodate the water.  We researched this online, found a fantastic video that showed how to fix it.  My husband re-dug the whole further down, bought a PVC y-splitter and 2 pop-up valves.  This corrected the back-flow issue.

Bradley construction fulfilled the core contractual obligations.  Our frustration began when the solution they proposed to "most likely" resolve our issues didn't work, and in fact made it worse until the drain was finalized by us.  Very slow response to initial concerns, and eventual abandonment of our issue caused frustration, and the water problem was still not corrected, even to the extent we were advised it would be.  We know this because we had to hire another company to come out and install a sump-pump to move the water coming into the basement back outside.

We wouldn't recommend them to do any basement waterproofing.  We're unfamiliar with their work in any other area.  We're not impressed with their timeliness either.

All Dry Of The Carolinas Inc
It was a very positive experience with All Dry.  They were very quick to respond to my phone calls, answered all of my questions, and walked me through the entire process to ensure I understood everything.  Their price was about $3k cheaper than anyone else that I received a quote from.  The workers were so nice.  They showed up on time, worked very hard, and completed the job in a timely manner.  After each day of work, they explained to me or my wife, what they were doing, when they would be back the following day, and what they would be doing the following day. After the completion of the job, they showed my wife all the work they performed, talked to her about how to work the dehumidifier, and told her how to service the pieces of equipment.  I am very pleased with the company, and I truly appreciate everything they did for us.
