    A1 Tec Service
In a time where no one calls you back and everyone is late, A1 Tec called me back in minutes and were right on timeall on a weekend (same day service). They identified the problem. Showed me what was wrong. And fixed itall for a fair price. I will ONLY call A1 Tec next time!

Willie came out right as it was getting dark. With only the flashlight on his phone, he dug up my yard, found the problem, and had it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. He was very personable and very knowledgeable of his job

Been having septic tank failure and had to get it pumped twice this year and it was filling close to the top again. I called them last second and were able to have technician come next day and were able to perform work the following day after that. They even drained the septic dank while there, saving me from paying for it to be drained by another plumbing service. While working on the new drain field ($4000 for 3 bdrm house) that they were hired to install, they noticed the septic tank had been rotting (must be at least 50 years old and was made of cinderblock) and needed to be replaced. The new tank would add on another $3000. Under the ground there was a pvc pipe going from my house towards the backyard but was serving no purpose. As they dug with the tractor they damaged it and broke it open, I noticed it broken while they were working but did not care because it was not harming anything. Once I paid the invoice, I noticed they charged me $300 for repairing the pipe they broke and that I did not need or request for being fixed. Thought that should be mentioned. They did very good work in a short amount of time. I am not sure if the work was worth the price, if it is then they are great but I woke up that day expecting to spend $4000 and ended up spending $7,300 and suspect there could have been less expensive solutions if I were more knowledgeable about septic systems, but alteast I can be certain I have a septic system that is more than operational and should be fine for decades.

I hated that I have hired them. It turned out that they didn't have a license to do neither electrical nor plumbing. They could only do painting and may be carpentry (which they were very sloppy at). The young guys whom came to do the job were very nice, but so inexperienced. Tile job is all screwed up. They've messed up all my marble tile work. One and only job that was very good is the tile in the laundry room. That was one of the few things done first that impressed us and kept us going with them. Everything else that they did was a half way and very sloppy. We couldn't tolerate a constant pointing at things that they have missed or didn't do correctly. We finally had to let them all go and had to finish up everything ourselves. So much re-work. Very sloppy and inexperienced. And they cost a lot more than we have agreed. Very poor agreement contract was given to us, and since we didn't know any better, we ended up paying for it. We had to constantly tell them what they need to redo and or finish that they have not. Even worth, they didn't get a building permit for a new bathroom... we had no idea... To officially add a new bathroom to the house you had to get a permit and inspect it. How would we know about it? Only after they were gone and we went to a city planner and told them that we have added a new bathroom and need update our house info. That was a devastation. That's how we found out that this company had no plumbing and electrical permits and our bathroom which cost us over $10k was built illegally. No wonder in the attic they didn't connect some piping from toilet to anything. they've just let it be opened. It could potentially built up gases from toilet in the attic and blow up the house. Not having electrical permit and running electrical wire from new bathroom could potentially overload the circuits and case house fire. You can only imagine what it took us to make it write. Do not hire them to do plumbing or electrical. Ask if they have license to do this job. They may do now. But please ask and watch what they do, dont get in same trap we did.

Friendly, responsive, and professional! We gave Gary a call for well repair. He was incredibly pleasant on the phone but not able to come out today (he already had 3 calls and I'm out in Seneca) and suggested I call him back this afternoon if I wasn't able to find someone who was available today so he could come out tomorrow. Luckily for me, I found an available plumber, but Gary followed up by phone just after noon to make sure we had found someone to get our water going again today. Will DEFINITELY call him again for friendly and considerate help!

Our old system was completely shot. We weren't sure what the problem was but Gary came to our home on short notice, diagnosed the problem accurately and quickly and gave us a cost estimate with a repair date that was very quick as well. They arrived to do the repair, cleared the area needed for the work, removed the old tank and replaced it with a modern one, pulled the entire well pipe and pump which obviously was in terrible condition. They then installed a top line pump and new pipe. The new system worked flawlessly and provides pressure that we have not enjoyed in years. We are incredibly grateful to the work the crew put into completing our repair and replacement. They worked long hours and were cheerful and well-mannered through all of it.? I highly recommend Water Flow Systems. They are the best!

Unfortunately, things did not go as we had hoped.  These guys are capable of doing good work, but because of delays, they cut corners that affected the end result.  The worst of these were the tile floor and the vanity:  they ran out of floor tiles twice, but instead of reordering and causing further delays, they did a patch job, taking tiles from under and around the thresholds.  There are wider spaces between some tiles and thicker grout, and thick grout around and under the threshold where tiles are missing. A darker shade of grout was used to fill in pinholes that had formed when the original grout had dried, making those areas look wet. The vanity and backsplash are uneven against the wall, caulk is missing between the marble top and cabinet, and two pipes under the cabinet were leaking onto the shelf.  The toilet also rocked back and forth when we sat on it.  We had to call the plumber immediately to make the necessary repairs.
The owner was concerned about keeping the cost as close to the quoted price as possible, but I would gladly have paid more to have the job done right.  This was truly a case of "you get what you pay for."

I would like to comment on Mr. Lyle?s response to my review: 1) Mr. Lyle left all the ordering to me, but I did not order the wrong tile;  the warehouse delivered the wrong tile to the retailer.  2) The $50 over the bill was for the extra labor involved in tearing out the first floor.  3)  The remodel was not a complete tear out; there was no demolition-- we kept the original bathtub, toilet, and subway tiles.  4) The vanity was ok?d by Mr. Lyle before I ordered it.  It could not be centered (okay), but one back leg is on the floor, the other on the lip of the baseboard, making the backsplash uneven.  5)  I told Aaron at least twice that I was not happy with the ?patch? job on the floor.  The other mistakes were made on the last day, and I did not see them until after the men left for another job.  Mr. Lyle often complained about how long the job was taking, so I did not see the point in having him come back.
