AAt first I was a little hesitant being I have always gone to the office of an eye Dr. instead of online. I can’t say enough good things about ReplaceAlens. Alex & team didn’t hesitate to do whatever was needed to make be a believer & THEY WERE AWESOME! Alex told me what they would do & leave the results up to me. I had a very nice pair of eye frames I hated to part with, They explained the process in a very easy way that I could understand. I basically forgot about my glasses. They came in the mail today. I put them on & was BLOWN AWAY! My vision is perfect & I mean PERFECT! That went exactly off my new prescription & did an outstanding job. I won’t hesitate to use them again! Pull your favorite frames out of the drawer & give it a shot. It will work for you as well. Thank you again Alex & TEAM! Marty Hunt

AIt was easy to schedule an appointment with Dr. Smith. I saw her at the Target Optometry Center at Rivergate. The staff was easy to work with and our insurance. She thoroughly gave me an eye exam and let me know that the next time I would probably need bifocals. We discussed options for contacts as well as contact lenses solutions which I appreciated. She recommended a solution and gave me a sample to try out. It worked out better than the solution I had been using. I was given a pair of contact to try out. She was friendly and kind and very easy to converse with. I liked her manner and she did a great job!

AKEVIN'S WHOLESALE FRAME REPAIRPlease note that the location has changed - business now located 7148 Lawyers Rd. Kevin is just fantastic! Called ahead - he asked me to just come in. Replaced my sunglass lenses (with new lenses I had purchased earlier) and tightened a loose frame in just a few minutes - charged very little and was more than fair!!!! Highly recommend!- Rahul M.

ACabarrus Eye CenterDr. Burchfield and staff are always caring and compassionate and knowledgeable professionals. Check-in always a breeze. However, the check-out area needs improvement. Second year in a row there was "problem". This year, two staff members were in front of counter chatting with the woman behind the desk. When they saw me, the ones in front stepped aside, but the one behind the desk kept chatting. They walk away, I hand my chart to the woman behind the desk and she proceeds to answer the phone instead of either giving my chart immediately to someone else or asking another to get the phone call. On the phone for five minutes with a patient who called AFTER I stepped up to the desk and AFTER she took my chart. Finally, another employee comes over to check me out before a longer line begins to form behind me! Not very professional or customer-centric. Improvement needed here. Perhaps a refresher on face-to-face customer service.- Nancyann R.

ACabarrus Eye CenterAbout a year ago, I invested in my first really expensive pair of glasses, and went all in on good frames, top of the line lenses and so on. Cabarrus Eye kitted me out nicely. A year later, my lenses were looking kind of rough. I'm hard on glasses, and had even dropped these, lenses-down, on concrete a couple of times. Finally deciding to bite the bullet, I called Cabarrus Eye, prepared to spend a bundle on getting the lenses replaced. I explained my need, and asked for a price. Without hesitation came the reply "No charge...you're covered under warranty." I was floored. They technician could easily have ignored the warranty and charged me full price for the lenses and, to my embarrassment, I'd have been none the wiser. Instead, within a week I had my new lenses, and it didn't cost me a time. The technician even adjusted my little girl's frames at the same time, no charge. I continue to be a tremendously please customer of Cabarrus Eye.- BRIAN L.

ACabarrus Eye Center. overall a good experience.i was referred to the retina specialist who decided my eye treatment could wait until i had my knee replacement which was already scheduled. 3 weeks after my knee surgery i returned to be informed that my eye appeared to be healing itself. the doc seemed to be really surprised and i was very relieved to not have to go through a difficult eye surgery. i felt that i was in good hands the whole time i was there. they are a big and busy office and i had a bit of a wait, but i was led around by kind techs- Mary M.

ACabarrus Eye CenterThey were very friendly and the surgery went well. I felt very comfortable and I thought that the doctor was very thorough and everything. They are very busy and might have to wait a while to get it all done. I had to wait 6 weeks before I got in.- BETTY C.

ACabarrus Eye CenterI know, you don't want anyone poking around in your eyes, with instruments, but this was a breeze.... both times. They offer an anti-anxiety sedative (pill) if you think you need one; I accepted that for one, don't recall first or second. You really don't feel a thing, thanks to the local / topical anesthetic dropped and splashed into you eye. Second-best elective medical procedure I've ever done; first was two hip replacements in 1994!! There is one important caveat: double, triple check your insurance. Relying on their website might not do it; phone them. The carrier I had last year, Humana Medicare Advantage, (and had been with for three years) separates the doctor from the surgical facility, even though they are the 'same place'. Which in my case, meant that each surgery was reimbursed as an Ambulatory cost, subject to a much higher copay than what I expected. (about $280 vs about $150). Based on what was on their own website, itI took me several months to convince Humana that I was 'right'. Three months after I'd paid off Cabarrus Eye, Humana decided that I was correrct, and they sent the difference.... for one surgery.... to Cabarrus Eye. Now, with that decision in hand, I have to write to them again so that they'll adjust the copay for the second eye.... and then, finally, I'll get it (both) back from Cabarrus Eye.- Frederick S.
