Updates By Nate Handyman Service LLC
Wow!!! It's been a long time since we have had someone the caliber of Nate come to do work on our home. He returned our phone call almost immediately...arrived exactly on time...got to work immediately...was thoughtful, professional and kept us in the loop the entire time. And the end result? PERFECT deck steps!!!! He was faced with a problem, quickly analyzed the situation and resolved it and now we have a beautifully fixed deck with some very sturdy amazing steps!! So grateful for Nate's work ethic and skills as a craftsman...like I said, it's been a long time since my husband and I hired a handyman that actually did what he said he was going to do and then went above and beyond to do an excellent job!!! Thank you, Nate - we highly recommend you!!!

He was initially slow to respond to voice mail message but then was very responsive. He came out on a Sunday to preview the job and said he'd get it done within the week. The next Saturday he was here and spent 4 or 5 hours getting the job done.

Jon Mowry responded to my email query within an hour and told me to call him whenever I had time.  He was extremely responsive, answered the phone, and responded to all communication very quickly and with accurate information.

We explained what we needed (metal staircase removed and straight staircase added, along with wiring 2 new flood lights).  He worked with us to come over and give us an estimate on our time.  Since I travel for work I did not have a lot of free time to be there for an estimate.  Jon scheduled this with us at a timeframe that worked well.  Jon was prompt for the estimate.  He emailed us the estimate within 1 business day.

Since we wanted the new staircase to match another staircase we already had, the supplies had to be custom ordered.  Jon kept us up to date with estimated delivery times.  Once the order came in Jon brought in crews to begin work within the same week.

The electrician Jon brought in was prompt, wired the flood lights and cleaned up any mess that was made.

Jon brought in Henry and Tim to build our new staircase.  Both Henry and Tim were extremely professional and accomplished in their trade and made the stairs look very similar to stairs already in the house.  They were excellent at solving multiple problems that came up based on the location and structure of the house.  We had to deal with a very narrow space and figuring out how to have the handrail work within code and still look similar to other rails in the house.  They solved all the problems and did an excellent job.

Jon stayed in contact with us through the entire process and helped resolve any small problems that came up promptly.

I would work with Jon again as he was professional, prompt, and easy to work with.

    Wayne Nicholas - Carpenter
My husband is pretty good at figuring out how to do things. He is an Engineer. But this piece of semi constructed furniture was a bit much . He needed some professional help of a Cabinet maker Wayne was so good and knowledgeable. Wayne was good at working with my husband to put the cabinet wall and bookshelves together again.

I contacted Jon because he had one of the deals for 8 hours of painting for 399.00. Per our conversation I had advised Jon that I needed  some other  woodwork repairs done to the house as well. I sent him a list of items that I wanted done and he responded to  within a couple of days with an estimate. I live out of town and this specific home is a income property that I am having repairs on. I was told that the carpenter would come on Friday October 24, 2014. He didn't show up but, the Carpenter did start the work on Saturday October 25, 2014 it took 6 days to do all the work. I was very pleased about the number of days it took. When you have income property and its sitting and vacant it stops your income. So I say Kudos to Jon for the short turn around . I had a relative go to my home and look at all the repairs that were made and he said everything look really good. Jon will be providing my paint services and I can't wait to see what a wonderful job he does on that.

Jon is amazing!  Not only is he a super nice guy, but he spent two hours fixing our pocket door and did not quit until it worked perfectly. The door had fallen off of the track plus, come to find out, the track was bent, which Jon fixed.  He had to remove the door frame to accomplish his work.  He reapplied the door frame, cleaned up and you wouldn't even know the frame was ever removed!  He is extremely polite and does what he says he is going to do.  I was so impressed that we have asked him to quote our kitchen remodel.  I highly recommend Jon and Carolina Complete Services and will definitely use them for all of our general contractor needs.

We had a lightening strike and fire with water damage.  They repaired the damaged sheetrock to the point where you could not tell the damage at all.  The workers were on time, did great work, and were very friendly, honest and dependable.  I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

    H & S Roofing & Gutter Company
We began by obtaining three estimates for a new roof for our 24 year old home. After looking through roofers listed on Angie's List, we selected three companies based on their review history and numbers of times that they had won the Super Service Award. We were surprised to find that the difference in price between the lowest and the highest was only $20.00! We probably would have been satisfied with any of the three, but we chose H & S Roofing based on the number of Super Service Awards and the fact that they were consecutive. We also liked the long history of being in business.
The three-man crew showed up early on Wednesday, April 2. They began by puting a tarp over all of our shrubs and protecting our doors and windows with plywood. They then set to work, stripping off the old shingles and tar paper on the front of the roof. In roughly 2 hours they had the roof stripped and began laying the tar paper and leak guard in the valleys. Soon they began shingling by hand nailing. By 6:00 PM , they had the front of the roof completed. They cleaned up and called it a day.
They were back on-site at 7:30 the next day. Again, they covered and protected the shrubs, doors, and windows at the rear of the house. They then stripped the roof at the back. Two pieces of wood had water damage and had to be replaced. In addition, they fashioned new flashing for the roof/chimney area. Next the tar paper and leak guard was installed, and then the shingles went down. They also installed new ridge vent. I was surprised to see them paint my vent pipes and exhaust fan pipes with black spray paint. What a difference something so simple made in the appearance.
The crew finished the roof and did an excellent job of cleaning up all of the debris and nails. The last step was to remount our satellite dish. I could not believe the excellent reception we had after they mounted the dish.
They did a fantastic job, the roof looks great, and we are extremely happy and pleased!

    Bill Bruno General Contractor
The Bruno Leland guys were excellent.  We had some misc repairs the needed to be done from a home inspection.  They responded quickly and did excellent work.  Their prices were very fair too.  It's so hard to find a good, honest contractor these days but we did with Bruno Leland.  We STRONGLY recommend them.

    Laying It Down Inc.
Robb Merritt is very easy to work with due to his professionalism and attention to detail. He really listens to what you want and offers helpful suggestions/ options to the project. He is very prompt in returning phone calls &?his actions prove that he is passionate about his work and cares about his customers. His wife Krissy is helpful & it is a family owned/operated business. Robb really wants the customer to be satisfied and happy?from beginning to end. It is refreshing to work with someone who has business integrity. He employs quality craftsmen who do an outstanding job. Our new bathroom has been reborn & is very glamorous! We love the niches and foot stool in the shower! Robb had excellent ideas about how to make a small space look bigger. For example, a recessed medicine cabinet over the sink was used so that it would not protrude into the room. Robb and Krissy are a pleasure to work with and I would definitely use them again.
