    Everyone, if you value your furniture, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My parents, Bob and Sue Williams, paid for 2 workers at $50/hour. The movers arrived at 1pm on Tuesday, July 31st. There was a Caucasian male and an African american male with an African american woman. She introduced herself as the "supervisor" and expressed that she was there to "keep an eye on them" which you can imagine didn't make us feel great. The workers took over 20 minutes to even get started. Once the workers got started, the supervisor decided to sit down in my parents living room and talk on her phone. As the day progressed, we noticed that the Caucasian male was repeatedly on his phone. For example, I looked out the window of my parents home and found him standing in the truck texting. After seeing this over half a dozen times, I decided to mention something to the supervisor. When I went to find her, she was ASLEEP AND SNORING on my parents couch. She said she would handle it. There were at least 10 more occasions of him on his phone. It was not handled. My husband was there to supervise and keep them moving because they were only moving 2-3 pieces every 30-40 minutes. They took one break that was was close to 45 minutes. Then they took 3-4 more 15 minute breaks. So in all, we were charged for almost 2 hours for them to be standing around. This does not include all the time they spent texting. It was very clear from the start that they were not experienced movers. My Father and Husband had to instruct them on how to carry things and they chose to ignore them and their furniture and walls paid the price. Once we left to head to the new house, they decided to stop and eat dinner....all while running the clock. We started unloading the truck and that's when we started seeing all the damage done. My mother was in tears as she watched her expensive, SOLID WOOD furniture, coming in damaged. We confronted the lady about it and she said "sorry" and made excuses such as "well it was hard going down the stairs." I reminded her that the furniture managed to make it UP the stairs, just fine. She then said, "well we worked 40 minutes beyond the initial 6 hours," So that comes to roughly $40 in "free work" even though they milked well beyond that in breaks and eating. Let me attempt to list the extent of damage: Executive Office Suite which consists of: 4 books shelves, credenza w/ hutch, table joiner, and executive desk. This furniture was purchased for over $2,500. As you will see in the pictures, two book shelves are damaged to the point where they will no longer stand up due to the bottom being blown out and the foot broken off. Please also note that the main executive desk's foot is broken and now the entire desk is unusable due to a severe wobble. Also, please note the EXTENSIVE scuffing of the furniture. The deep red wood pictured is all his office suite. The damage is non-repairable. There are several deep brown wood items pictured where end tables have been scuffed. These end tables are BRAND NEW and were roughly $179 a piece and 2 out of three of them are now scuffed up on top. Next you will see the Solid Wood bedroom furniture that is severely scuffed. The damage is extensive and sticks out like a sore thumb. This bedroom furniture is solid wood and is valued at over $2000. It consists of an end table, mirror hutch, a wide dresser drawers, and 5 drawer dresser. EVERY.SINGLE.PIECE. is damaged. Next, the damage to the walls. Now due to the fact that they had to leave their previous place in good condition, these pictures show the walls already spackled. But the damage is clear. When I called to try and speak with someone about the damage and emotional distress my parents experienced, the lady cut me off, told me to be quiet, and was incredibly disrespectful. When I asked her to speak to me with respect, she hung up on me. When I spoke to the owner manager, he tried to make an excuse and tell me that "she just isn't used to dealing with complaints." It common sense that when someone has a complaint, you don't tell them to be quiet and hang up on them. As a business owner myself, not a single one of my employees would respond this way from the delivery people to customer service. No one would. They have now refused to repair any of the damage. READ THEIR REVIEWS!!!! We sure wish we had!!!!

    For long distance packing and moving, that is an excellent way to do it.
    They have special bars and separators that come down so that you can pack the highest. you are charged per linial foot as far as back to front or front to back I should say. The benefit is that you can pack high and maximize your packing space by getting appropriate boxes and packing tight and packing high, but you have to do the packing. They do insure it for when they are on the road. It is a reasonable insurance and a reasonable care. I had everything delivered to my house. It had not been broken and there was nothing that needed repair. I find them to be superior. The guys on both ends, the ones that delivered the pod and picked it up. Same with delivery on the receiving end. They were courteous. I could not get the door down after unpacking and they said no problem and they came out early to get the trailer and took it away. As far as price was concerned, they were very honest in telling me that their price was not good for short distance but they are great for long distance and I found that to be true.

    The company did a great job and all of the guys were super nice. They came out and looked at what I had to move took pictures and ask questions. I was getting a quote to pack and move me. The week before my move I started packing some of the things myself. I also bought the boxes I used myself.  I had 90% of everything packed that wasn't breakable. The day before my move they sent out 3 guys to pack. They did a great job except I had to keep telling them several different times what not to pack. On the day of my move they sent out 4 guys and 2 trucks to move everything. Everything got moved ok and the guys did a great job. I had a few things that got broke, and my mattress got a little dirty but no big problems. They did put a few boxes in the wrong place, like a box marked garage was put in a bedroom and things like that. Overall I couldn't have ask for a better group of guys, they were efficient, friendly and even joked around with me to make the move as smooth as possible. I only moved 6 miles away.

       My one complaint with this company is that they sent a guy out to give me an estimate, I showed him everything, he took pictures and all. I got a written estimate on how much it was going to cost. The estimate was for $2500, needless to say I was shocked when they told me it would be $1000 more than what was quoted. And keep in mind they quoted to do everything and supply everything. I didn't get any credit for the boxes I bought or all of the things I already had packed ! I only had that much budgeted for the move. If they can't give you an accurate estimate then they need someone else to do it. So when you add everything up $3433.93 plus $120 for boxes I purchased and $ 120 to feed the guys while they were there it cost me about $3700. They guys were great but I would not use the company again because of the cost factor.

    Handee was very prompt with quote and followup. They squeezed me in on short notice. They arrived when they said they would. The 2 men were very professional and were careful while moving the desks. They covered the desks and the doorway with blankets so that no damage would be done while trying to fit the desks through a doorway which was barely large enough for the desks to go through. The job was completed in under an hour.

    The experience was terrific. We had Joe-the-Mover as his team affectionately referred to him, move our home 650 miles. We were tremendously impressed with the quality of work. They arrived on time and took great care of our belongings. We knew Joe was special, when our dining room hutch was unloaded and we noticed a drawer pull was missing, Joe pulled it from his pocket and said, "I wanted to make sure I knew where it was." He was amazing. Everyone warned us to expect something to be damaged, even the sales rep from Allied. We did not have a single dent or scratch. Joe and his team were hard working and perfectionists.
