Louis Spicer came out, gave us an estimate & was very reassuring that he could fix all our problems & he did just that. He worked tirelessly until the job was done & cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. He is very dependable, honest, & we would highly recommend him to anyone who needed any kind of tree work done, not just stumps! He has the knowledge & equipment to handle any big projects & he won't disappoint you when he's done.

    BC Lawn Care Inc
I paid the company for lawn care that was to be completed while I was on vacation. When I returned home I noticed that the work was not done. I contacted the company several times and after a month filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I spoke to the owner twice and he was very rude and unhelpful. I never received service and I have not been able to get my money back either. Basically they have wasted my time and taken money for work that was never completed. They are very unprofessional to speak to and I have ran into several others that have said the same things so obviously this is not the first time something like this has happened. I would love to say that I at least got a refund but that is not the case so I am out the money and no services were even attempted! The service was paid for on 6/26/17 and last contacted the owner on 7/20/17 when he was rude and hung up n me without even giving me an explanation.

    Robertsons Tree Service
Generally the Robertsons are good guys and easy to talk to but there seemed to be a communication problem. The guys that came out to do the work had to be reminded every day as to what was to be done and they did not get all done that I discussed with Mr. Robertson during the estimate. Days and therefore $$ were added to the original estimate, though I must admit to adding approx six trees to the job. Finally, there was a bit of a mess when they left. HOWEVER; I must say that all of the above seemed to be honest mistakes and not any attempt to milk me of extra $$$ and there was always prompt response to phone messages. Also I have no qualms about having their crew on my property as they all were polite nice folks. LTG

It did not go well. I talked to Dustin Brown at the site in August 2015. He agreed orally to prep the land for seeding by May of 2016, May being the optimum month for seeding Bermuda. I agreed to his written proposal, which was to (1) grade and prep designated areas for seed, (2) push all debris to the side of the property, (3) harley rake at the end for a good seed bed, and (4) remove the main stumps. The cost of this job was based the assumption he would need two machines and operators for 3 days. Cost: $3.3K. When April rolled around and I tried to contact him to see when he was going to do the work, he didn't respond to my e-mails or phone calls but eventually notified me he'd get to my job when he finished some other work he was doing. In early June he dispatched a local guy with a bobcat to the site and he cleared the area by scraping off much-needed topsoil and dumping it outside the area to be planted. As far as I know, the bobcat operator spent only one day at the site and was completely unsupervised by Dustin Brown. No other work was done. There was no Harley raking and no stump grinding. At this point Dustin Brown demanded full payment and I paid him, expecting he'd do more work to properly prepare a seedbed. However, he never did. As a severe summer drought dragged on, I realized there was no way a 2016 planting could succeed and told him, by text message, not to plant. He didn't respond or offer me any alternative for meeting my objectives. I found his complete lack of interest in my concerns to be most annoying. So, as it stands, I am out of $3,300 with almost nothing to show for it. In retrospect, I should have insisted that a site-prep completion date be specified in the contract. I wrongly assumed that with eight months notice, there would be no problem.

See Pictures below. We have been with this lawn maintenance group for almost 3 years and have only on occasion been satisfied with the service we have received. They do not reliably show up, although scheduled for bi-weekly. We have even been told that if it is that long between visits, we should call and remind them as we may have fallen off of their schedule. Their bill always says -turf maintenance - which is grass cutting only, and not on a diagonal as requested!, - spraying(keep beds free of weeds) - which is occasionally done with weed killer alone and not traditional weeding by any means. We have had multiple dead bushes / ground cover resulting from this "weed maintenance", -edging and blowing - edging may occasionally take out outdoor lighting and sprinkler system posts which will never be mentioned to you but you will find on your own. Edging is occasionally done with weed killer and blowing indeed, right up under the bushes where you may have just raked the leaves from. They have no regard for your flower beds. During the most recent storm some of our trees dropped branches - they helped them right into the flower beds. We have a sizable pile of debris which is from weeds we pulled out of our flower beds, dead limbs, and leaves raked from under bushes. We have asked the crew and left messages with the owner for several months without response. When the owner finally returned our call we were told that to haul this debris away was not covered under our plan. When the other issues were discussed with him (weed killer for trimming, leaves under bushes etc) we were told that the bulk of his business is done at the Cliffs but that he does have a few "outlying" properties. We assume this means we are one of his outlying properties - we also assume that this means our business is not as important to him as his Cliff properties. We feel their lack of reliability in coming, lack of concern for our plants or our attempts to maintain our yard, poor communication, and telling customers that your property is not as important as others being serviced are all very poor professional behaviors.

Michael worked with us for the last 2 months on a plan to install a parking area for our RV.  We started out with grand plans but had to whittle them down to a more realistic plan that we could afford.  Michael stuck with us through it all.  The easy part was to install a fence around the back yard for the dogs.  Half is privacy fence and half is wire fence.  It looks absolutely wonderful.  The pickets in the privacy fence are individually installed so it follows the contours of the land and looks professionally done, which it is.
The hard part was trying to find a way to carve out space in a hill side for our RV that didn't cost a fortune.  Michael came up with an option we could afford.  He graded the hillside and used the removed dirt to recontour the back yard to a more gentle slope.  He extended the culvert on the street and widen the driveway enough to get our 40 foot RV in.  He laid sod on the new hillside and put out grass seed and hay on the rest of the dirt in the back yard.
Michael was around for almost all of the work.  He helped his guys with some of the fencing and he did most of the work on the driveway.  It took awhile to get everything done due to weather but it got done.
I recommend Micheal because he's picky and a prefectionist which is what you want in a contractor, and he's easy to work with.  He even saved one of our old dogs who ran off down the street without us noticing, and almost got hit by a car.

    Crowe'S Tree Service
Mr Crowe gave us an estimate that we liked then he came and took down the 2 trees in the front yard.  No damage was done to the surrounding yard and they cleaned up the area pretty well.  They cut the trunks down to the ground but didn't grind them down because we didn't mind the stumps.  They did a great job and were quick and friendly.

Allen Fur Dba Allens Lawn Maintenance
We have been here for 4 years and my dad used him for about 12 years so all in all our family has been using him for about 16 years. He is really good, he knows what he is doing, and he is very meticulous. His price is very reasonable.

Allen Fur Dba Allens Lawn Maintenance
He is great and a very good guy.  He is very meticulous when he mows the yard he does everything including pulling the weeds in the beds.  My yard is one of the nicest yards in the neighborhood.  He normally charges $40 but if I get anything extra then it's a little bit more and I have almost three quarters of an acre.  He is very reasonable and he’s really good.  If anyone wants to call me personally and ask, I will answer and I don't normally do that but for this guy's work I would do that.  He's very prompt and on time.  He calls me if he can't make it or if he's going to make it which I find is either unheard off but he does.  To me that means a lot because if it’s raining or something he'll call to say he will make it the next day.  I have him all year round; he does even in the winter for me.  If he's not doing my yard he is doing my mulch or my beds.  He's put plants in or doing something.  I've always got him doing something.  I had a couple of other people come out and they were awful and they were more money.  The quality of his work is impeccable.  He comes after every two weeks and in the summer he comes every week.

    S Lynn Landscape Curbing LLC
They did it from our driveway across front of house and around side, also around two large maple trees.  Installed 217 feet total.  It was absolutely gorgeous.  They were here on time, very meticulous, very professional, did amazing work, and we thrilled with the work.  They have a machine that rolls it out, then they finish it with a trowel.

They made a wave design in front of flower boxes to give it an elegant appeal.   They matched the color to the brick on our house, although you can choose any color you want.

They did a perfect clean up.

We plan to have them back to do additional work.  We highly, highly, recommend their services.
