    The technician showed up as scheduled and did an initial analysis. The service call charge was reasonable. After the leak test, I asked for a received estimates for single, dual and variable-speed units. The work proceeded after selection very quickly and we are very satisfied with this company. I would recommend them without hesitation.

    Very well. Installation crew arrived promptly and on time. Techs obviously very well trained, friendly and courteous, and took special pains to minimize disruption and debris. I have used this company before for routine heat pump maintenance but had not for any major project. So far, I am very satisfied with their professionalism, would definitely use them again, and heartily recommend them to anyone. In my experience, they are an A+ company.

    Prompt, courteous, professional people. Every person we have dealt with have exceeded our expectations. Being new to the area we were unsure who to call. We are so happy we chose Waccamaw Heating and Cooling. We replaced our entire system and David Jones met with us to go over everything, including available rebates and offers through Santee Cooper. Becky is most pleasant and accommodating over the phone. Jamie coordinated the work, everything was cleaned up so we couldn't even tell they had been in our home. And David came back after work was done to make sure we were happy. I don't usually write reviews, but with service like this I just had to. Thank you Waccamaw!

    Good. Good. We use them all the time. They come on a semi-annual service. Twice a year. We pay annually for it. Tony comes and he checks both air conditioners that we have and tells us about the equipment and what kind of shape it's in, fixes anything that isn't quite right, and he's excellent. I don't know what other people charge. I think they're probably pretty competitive. They may not be the cheapest in town, but I doubt if they're the most expensive either. They're just very, very good at what they do.

    This was our first experience with Waccamaw Heating & Cooling. Whitney was very accommodating in setting up an appointment quickly and at a convenient time. Scott arrived promptly at the scheduled time and immediately started to perform the spring tune-up on our heat pump system. He began with the air handler in the attic and, when he finished, told me his findings. I had developed serious doubts about the quality of the HVAC installation last year by another company (due to service issues with them), but Scott assured me that the quality was actually exceptionally good. He showed me several photos he had taken of the installation and pointed out the excellent workmanship. He then evaluated the condenser and informed me that there was a kink in the suction line, but it did not present a problem. He performed all work promptly and in a professional manner. We're relieved to know that we have a quality system with an excellent rating. Right after Scott left, I received a PDF tune-up report in my email. We highly recommend Waccamaw Heating & Cooling.

    Tech Service Heating and Cooling
    Tech Service in Conway, SC installed our heat pump system in February 2016, and we subsequently signed a contract with them for spring/fall preventative maintenance, paying for both after the fall servicing. We have never had problems with the system, and only learned yesterday, from another HVAC company, that they did an excellent installation job. However, the service portion of their business has had problems. They did not return several calls last fall, and they never called to schedule the spring maintenance (after waiting 8�� months, I called them in mid June). Their new spokesman admitted that they have had scheduling and other problems for many months, but when I stated our desire to go with another company because of this, he refused to refund our spring payment. He was argumentative and unapologetic about the poor service, but agreed to discuss the issue with the owner and call back. He never did, so it was impossible to work things out with them. We hired another company, and they were extremely professional. In summary, Tech Service did a quality installation, but their dealings with us were extremely poor. There are HVAC companies with excellent installation AND service capabilities, so we would not recommend Tech Service.

    Grayman Climate Control In
    In June, 2016 Grayman Climate Control Inc. performed routine biannual maintenance on our air conditioning system. The system was working fine when they began their service. Immediately after completing the service, the compressor locked up necessitating replacement of the entire unit. After initially offering a small discount on a new unit, the owner decided he had more work than he needed and walked away from the job leaving us to scramble to find a new air conditioner in 90 plus degree heat. If you use Grayman, you better hope there are no problems, because they do not stand behind their work.

    We were so very pleased with the professionals from Waccamaw Cooling from their assessment of our needs, to the various options presented by Dustin to make our home more comfortable. In addition to righting some code issues associated with our current systems, they also made significant changes in ensuring more efficient running units. After we decided what systems we wanted, the units were scheduled for installation within a few days.....and this done during the hot and very humid days of August. Dustin also completed and submitted the paperwork for our eligibility in a Smart Energy Rebate Program and Loan Program through Santee Cooper. This resulted in our financing the entire cost of the new units at 1.5% and receiving an $800 rebate for Smart Energy. The technicians, Andy, Jamie, Jeremy and Tyler, arrived on time and installed two new Trane units in two days. They removed all debris and cleaned up the areas where they worked. Tyler showed us how to operate the touch screen Nexia thermostat systems and he also set up apps on both our smart phones. Would highly recommend Waccamaw Heating and Cooling!.
