    NANCE REMODELING
Do not hire this company! We hired them to add a sunroom on to our house. Steve Nance sent out this guy named Jeff Maloof. Jeff claims to have owned his own companies up north and has built homes before along with other skills. Our project started off ok. It didn't take him long to tear off our existing deck, but once he built the new deck it was not level. My husband pointed it out to him and he acted like he didn't even notice. Jeff claimed that it will all "even out" once they put weight on it. Now, we are not contractors by any means, but that just didn't seem like it made much sense. After a lot of back and forth, he finally did his best at "fixing" it. We should have fired him from this point, but unfortunately we gave him the benefit of the doubt and kept paying him for his horrible work. He then went on to add decking boards and when we got off work saw that he had screwed them in, but most of them missed the board underneath, were uneven and he even skipped some boards! We called him out on it and he claims it was the guy he brought over to do the work (who happens to also be one of the roofers for Nance roofing). He still never fixed these screws...but I have so much more to tell about this project I must move on. The second phase of this project was the frame. He couldn't even do this right. Every single board he put up was not level or even which means when its time to put up any siding, it won't go up even. During this entire project he never showed up when he said he was going to come, when he did come he was dropped off and never brought his own vehicle, claimed it was "in the shop." One day he was dropped off and worked for maybe 1 hour, then sat in my backyard for 4 hours, smoking cigarettes, drinking my waters (never brought his own drinks with him), asks to use my bathroom and even asked for my wifi password!!! I called his boss Steven Nance and told him what was going on and the only response we got from him was "oh, I see". We complained numerous times to Steve about Jeff and he never did anything or gave us any reassurance that this would change. Last phase was the roof. Now, Nance Roofing has been around a long time according to the website. Well I can tell you that they couldn't even get the roof correct on this project. We have since had another contractor come in and we have had to basically tear down everything to build this the right way. Jeff cut corners on EVERYTHING he touched. He didn't even nail in all of the shingles, we put decking boards on the roof and not all theses were even screwed in. The screws he used were not even long enough come to find out. Maybe 1/4 inch of the screw was even keeping the roof on. On another note, when he did show up to work, half the time never even brought all the materials he needed. This has been such a nightmare for us. Please please please do not hire this company for any of your remodeling or roofing needs. Horrible customer service and horrible workmanship.

    Hampel Construction Inc
Quality work with attention to extra detail that we would not have known to expect such as pan under the threshold. Kyle arrived on schedule and completed the work in a timely manner despite rain interfering. The wrong door was delivered and Kyle picked up the correct replacement door saving us from having to deal with this. Clean-up was excellent and he removed all items for disposal. No reservations in recommending Kyle.

    Mike Talarico Inc
I built a unique home using a variety of reclaimed materials and mordern construction materials. Mike was the crew leader of the framing group (at the time contracting for another company). Mike was by far the most professional and competent of the crew. He was courteous, punctual and friendly. When Mike was I onsite I felt confident that the project was going smoothly. When other crew leaders were rotated on the job problems tended to occur and inevitably Mike was brought back to get the project back on track.

    Dozier Paintworks
He showed up on time. He had the correct equipment. He passed on some discounts. He was very maticouliuos, we have a big deck and he went over everything with his brush. He did not use any rollers or spays. It had been raining, so he came back and make sure the job was done correctly. He was very condescension, he made sure the job was done right. He did his research on the project.

    Mike Talarico Inc
As always, the latest projects went great. Mike always shows up on time and works --- no long lunches or procrastinating. What I like best about him is that he listens to what I want, and whenever appropriate, offers suggestions on how we might improve the idea to gain the desired result more efficiently or economically. The floors look fantastic, the enclosed storage room in the attic with shelving has expanded my usable storage space vertically, and the pantry now holds much more, yet everything is easier to see and reach.
