    I arrived from out of state with a "Check engine" light on.  He read it and told me it was a minor issue. It might be difficult to get a repair part quickly.  There would be no problem getting back to PA and having it fixed at the home dealer.  There is a reason all his bays were full, and the mechanics were busy.

    Their service is horrible. The only reason I take it there is because it’s still under the warranty. They are slower than the mud. We had a leak in my wife’s car, we had to bring it back six, seven times. Once they said they have fixed it and everything is fine and when I get in the car it was soaking wet. They are expensive and always try to sell you something else.

    The worker at Carlos took my car in the shop, located the leak and plugged the tire very quickly.  Then they tested the plug to be sure that it was holding air.  This repair allowed me to drive my car until I was able to get the correct replacement tire for my car! And they were very well priced for the work!

    In our recent quest to purchase a small AWD SUV, we had the opportunity to visit multiple model dealerships and test drive a number of vehicles. We initially dropped in solely for a test drive and to familiarize with the new product offerings (we were still driving a 12 year old Subaru Outback). We had steeled ourselves before entering ready to fend off high pressure salesman who disappear with your keys of your potential trade in and come back with high prices and a low-ball trade in value. Our assumptions were COMPLETELY WRONG at Hadwin-White Subaru. We were greeted warmly by a sales professional, Bryan F. who actually listened to what we were looking for considering we needed a vehicle of higher stature and easy access in/out because of some physical limitations one of us had.

    We had asked to test drive an Outback but after he saw the mobility issue involved, suggested that we also try the seats and access into the Forester--and he was completely on target--much easier to get in and out and with the leather seat option, it was excellent. All of the other dealerships we visited (7 in total) were pleasant enough but were more interested in selling their brand than listening and providing a solution to the mobility issue. We were already sold on the durability and low maintenance record of the Subaru brand but needed to adjust vehicle height and other features for this purchase. We did our research and sincerely shopped the other brands and closer dealerships for features/price/cost of ownership over many years, gas mileage, maintenance facilities and reputation of the dealership.

    Our extensive internet research allowed to really compare/contrast the vehicles when we saw them in person. We left this dealership after the initial visit and test drive with great information and continued with our due diligence on Ford Escape, Mazda CX-5, Nissan Rogue and Murano. Honda CR-V, Jeep Patriot and Cherokee, Hyundai Tuscan and Sante Fe, Kia Sorrento. On our second test drive of the Forester, we agreed that on looks, ease of access and reliability as well as the best IHS crash ratings, and the supremely easy (dare we say fun?) experience at Hadwin-White Subaru that we had found our next car. To be sure, this dealership was the farthest from our home--but the BEST choice for us. I would recommend our salesperson Bryan F. and his team leader Steve to anyone considering a new vehicle.

    Of note to service after the sale--Bryan is even going to help us burn our CD's into the MP3 player that will be more easily used with the stereo. Our trade in value was excellent (even on a 12 year old car) and we received the best deal even after shopping other Subaru dealers. We unequivocably recommend Hadwin-White Subaru and this team! Great experience!

    Pawleys Auto has always demonstrated a high degree of integrity, knowledge and professionalism. The building they work in is simple and workmanlike -- nothing fancy, but they are a superior outfit. They explain everything in detail to the customer, always give a quote, and even give me a ride home and pick me up when my vehicle is done (at no extra charge). I can't say enough that is good about them -- they are excellent!
    I gave them all "A's" and a "B" in cost -- not because I think they are high but because 1). a Volvo is usually fairly expensive to repair and 2). I have never compared their cost directly to other repair shops although I suspect they charge the customary rate which I would rate as a "B". The closest comparison I have to rate their cost is a transmission replacement: first I took my car to Aand A Transmission on 2nd Avenue in N. Surfside and had it replaced for $2,800. Pawleys Auto replaced it again for $3,000 a short time later. Yes, it was $200 more, but the Aand A Transmission shop had put a worn, rebuilt transmission in my car (unknown to me, at the time) and Pawleys Auto installed a brand new Volvo transmission -- worth the extra money!!
    In summary, I believe a customer really couldn't go wrong with this team: the owner has the highest integrity and is a dedicated auto-lover with tremendous knowledge, the mechanic that works on my Volvo is simply an expert, and the staff in general is very friendly and conscientious.

    I have always purchased my tires from this Goodyear location.  The service staff is friendly and the work is done quickly.  I prefer to purchase tires from large companies that offer free tire rotation like this Goodyear location.

    COASTAL NISSAN INC
    Coastal Nissan has many positives.  The waiting room is spacious and has a nice large LCD TV to help pass time.  Coastal Nissan also offers a free points program which has helped me obtain two free oil changes in the past three years.  Since I live and work within Pawleys Island, Coastal Nissan also provides free shuttle service to and from their dealership.

    Compressor was installed,...which worked for a couple of months,...returned for repair on an obviously defective part that they installed and warrantied,...but they were unresponsive in adequately correcting the problem. I was initially advised that a part of the air compressor was bent effecting its efficacy, with the intimation that I must have either caused the bending or knew how the bending must have occurred . I found this to be very curious on the part of the repairman/the company. They did a follow-up repair by replacing a rubber gasket which ultimately proved ineffective as well within 1 day. Would not recommend this company for anything other than an oil change or a replacing a tire,...even that would give me pause.

    We had troubles with the repair they did. I was very disappointed. My wife took it there three times and it never got fixed right. She finally just gave up. We're still having problems with the windshield wipers. The price was very high for what we got. I don't want anyone else's wife to go through this.
