    Convenient Lifestyles Moving
    These people scammed my parents blind. They arrived an hour late the day of the move- keep in mind there is a window of time to vacate the property that had been sold. Told my brother that since they were late they would pay him $20/hr if he helped. One of the movers stood around and talked on his phone the whole time. My brother worked harder than they did and he didn���t see a dime. Everything arrived 3 days later than promised, covered in scratches or simply broken. They won���t move anything until they are paid, and paid they were. TWICE as much as the original estimate. Promised to move furniture to their respective rooms and assemble them because they wanted to ���make you (my parents) happy���. Wasn���t too interested in happiness at this point and tried to leave before moving/assembling everything! My parents didn���t even receive all of their possessions and the list is ever expanding. When contacted about this, the company asserts that ���too much time has passed���. Horrible company with horrible ethics. Stay far away.

    BEST RATES MOVERS
    Terrible.... Shaun sent me 3 guys who got there late. One guy who had some experience was big (& sometimes strong) kept having to take breaks due to the heat. Guys were clueless on how to move heavy furniture..... they were dragging my heavy furniture on new carpets. Damaged walls and ceiling where they hit furniture into the sheetrock. Dirty hand prints all over walls. Shaun charged me $40/hr for experienced movers - and sent me kids that he paid $17/hr and had virtually no experience and NO EQUIPMENT. Stay away-- Shaun does NOTHING but take your money!

    Advanced Moving and Storage
    Arrangements went smoothly to set up the move. Items were stored by them in a "climate controlled" warehouse and then delivered to our home one month later. The move was not handled in a professional manner and items were damaged or lost. Although we had purchased a Full value protection policy, the company refused to honor that commitment claiming damage was pre-existing. No notation of this was made on the loading sheets and we are certain it was not damaged before the move. Our claims were for close to $4,000 and they sent us a check for $23. We were assured that the driver who loaded our belongings in Bloomingdale would accompany them to our new home. This did not happen, and the driver assigned to deliver was with the company only a couple of weeks. That delivery driver, while capable, was ineffective in managing the crew engaged to offload our belongings. The crew which Advanced engaged to offload our belongings was from our perspective inept and unprofessional. They were more concerned about getting done than about caring for our belongings. They even marked items as delivered which were not as evidenced by a lost lamp and a box which had to be forwarded to us on a date one month after delivery. Perhaps most importantly, the driver, acting as the agent, agreed that the two tables which the crew destroyed were irreparable. We took him at his word and disposed of the damaged tables since we had no room to store them in our new location. We understand that the company believes they were following the letter of the contract; and while the company can hide behind the wording, we do not believe that we were treated fairly in this situation. From our perspective we believe that the actions and communications were unprofessional, unethical, and perhaps even immoral. Because of that we feel that we must let others know of this situation so that they can make informed decisions about entrusting Advanced Moving with their precious belongings. DO NOT HIRE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

    Van With a Man
    Filled out an on-line inventory and was given an estimate. Salesman visited and we physically went through my inventory and their estimate was on the money. Confirmed that they drive directly from NJ to SC and no load sharing. Decided on a date. Had all of their cell phone numbers. The move was completed on the morning as promised. Was extremely happy from beginning to end. I would not hesitate to use them again, and I have no reservations with recommending this team.

    Sea Cure Moving Inc
    I moved ten times since 1995, and several times I've used Beckons to move across country. This particular group was by far the very best. They were careful in packing my high valued breakables and everything else. They delivered everything perfectly. They placed my furniture where I wanted, and were very willing to move stuff around. Two saucers were broken and the claim was satisfied on the spot. Ron McQuaid was hands-on. He was there the day they loaded my truck and made several followup calls to make sure I was happy and satisfied. Sandy, the driver, worked beyond belief. She was fabulous and careful. I can't say enough positive things about the company, and I've already recommended them to a friend moving to Florida in June. If anyone has the option to use this particular group, I wouldn't hesitate, I would jump on it.

    Move Buddies

    The movers, Jameel and Anthony were excellent.  Worked hard, no breaks, polite and finished ahead of schedule.  I would hire Jameel and Anthony again. Outstanding service.  These 2 get an A+.

    The office associates, Brittany and Bailiegh, were terrible.  Baliegh suggested we use 3 movers rather than 2. My son-in-law was going to help, so I thought this would be good to have two pairs of workers, since the majority of items were heavy furniture. The 3rd worker did not handle any heavy items. She did unload some bags and small items, but my wife told me later, she took lots of pictures of our furniture and home. I did not agree to or was informed any photos would be taken.  We also had a glitch with their time of arrival. After several phone conversations so get a solid time, they still arrived 50 minutes late. Very poor customer service from the office staff. I would give them an F.

    If Jameel and Anthony worked for another company, I would hire them in a second. Both are outstanding employees. Brittany and Baileigh were the worst I have ever dealt with.

    With the movers getting an A+ and office receiving an F, the overall is a C.

    During the preliminary time everything went well from the owner and his wife; to the office staff; everyone was very friendly and things couldn't have gone better. The morning of the move, the crew arrived. At first everything was okay. Then they became very nasty; very indifferent. They had major attitude problems and were very difficult to work with. They left my home with paper debris all over; including a mess in the guest room bathroom. They also left (6) 6 foot artificial plants and jardener standing in the living room; which were discussed at great length with the owner upon booking the move. During the day, I never heard from any member of management. When I realized they had left the 6 artificial plants, I called but I was unable to reach the owner. I reached the secretary after hours by calling Pete, owner of Hilton Head Movers for help in reaching them. Debra called back and had no idea of what happened. She could not explain it but said she would call back and she did. She told me she was sending the workman right back but it would take a couple hours. I ended up missing a party that was thrown for me. The men returned after 7pm; more arrogant and belligerent than before to pick up the 6 artificial plants. They literally threw them into the truck. The second day; the next morning, they were to meet me at my new residence in Greenville. When they arrived, they had an attitude and were nasty to me, my daughter as well as to a resident of where I am now living. Nothing more was said. They continued to unload the van in a very poor manner and finished unloading to my residence. The third drop off was at a storage unit; they literally threw everything in the unit; piling big boxes on small boxes; everything was a mess. It was obvious upon delivery to my residence 2 chairs were broken and very likely damage to the Grandfather clock but it was difficult to see. That same day,I spoke to Debra about the damage. I told them more than likely there would be additional damages but that was the end. The following day she issued a credit for the error in the price. I heard nothing further from them pertaining to the damage that was discussed. After a few weeks, they were sent a very very long letter fully explaining the reason for the delay as well as the damage in great detail. I gave them 10 business days from the date of receipt to respond. The damage was over $2,000; mostly to the Grandfather clock. I have a signed receipt showing they received the letter but I have yet to hear from them.

    At delivery time we had to pay before they would unload the truck. About 30 minutes later we were told that they did not have all our stuff. They said they would deliver the rest the following weekend. At that time we were missing 23 items. They never came the next weekend. After many calls they finally said they would deliver on May 22,2015. But they only delivered 15 items of the 23. We drove 240 miles to Bluffton on June 9th to get the rest but we're told they could not find them. They knew we were coming but bothered not to call us.
    We are still missing 8 items/boxes with expensive items in them and now tell us they have delivered everything. But the inventory list shows this is not true. They refuse to look for them. We value the items missing at around $3200.00, many of these items cannot be replaced.
    Do not use them to move your possessions, they can't be trusted.

    I called May 13th for an estimate for a bedroom set.  They gave me a ridiculous and outrageous price - $150/hr with a minimum of $600!  The "F" rating is justified by the outrageous pricing!

    I bought deal in Sept; knowing that I would be moving this Jan or Feb. I called when I had closing date and set up time. My daughter was set to also move from the home the next day but we were moving to two separate homes and seh had an appointment with them the next day. They did not show up for my appointment so I called them and they said they would try to get me in. I asked if it could please be by 11 am; at 11:30 am I had not heard from them. I tried calling them and they never answered; we even had other people with other area codes try to call them as well. They never showed up and never answered any of my calls.
