    BANFIELD THE PET HOSPITAL
The did a wonderful job in providing me with the necessary information about the procedures. They called me when Samantha was through her surgery and stated that I could call them through out the day, which I did a couple of times. When I picked her up they provided me with written care instructions and stated that I could call anytime with questions. They have been great.

    ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Loved the caring and gentle handling of my Ragdoll cat. They "pooh-poohed" over her and had her purring and rolling around -- before the shot! Prissy didn't much like the shot, but they soothed her and she did just fine. The doctors and PAs at Animal Hospital of North Myrtle Beach are the BEST! A little pricey, but no more than anyone else. Taking a pet to the vet is like taking a child to the pediatrician!

    Heavenly Paws pets crematory
Ben, the owner, was wonderful. He came over the day I called to pick up our dog from our home. He was very careful and respectful with her. He saw I was a basket case, and was very patient with me, and even gave me a hug. He seems like a truly genuine, empathetic guy who loves animals. He brought her back to our home in a beautiful wooden box, with a gold plaque on it, with everything we had wanted to say on it. He also had a sympathy card, with her pawprint on it. I highly recommend his service.

Dr. Todd Brown was wonderful. He was very patient and caring with our dog, who's a scaredy cat. At one point, he got down on the floor to take her blood because she was so scared. The only thing I didn't like was how they push a lot of tests and procedures, but that's like any vet office.

    Kind Care Animal Hospital
The wellness exam itself is $30. But then I had frontline added to it and a parasite screen, so the total was $57. I liked the cleanliness of the office and the very caring staff. A number of people came out and talked to my puppy. The doctor was very kind with her and spent much time with her. He was thorough in going over everything that I needed to do and answered all my questions. I thought that they did a very nice job. I actually looked them up on Angie's List to see if anyone had heard of them. It took me a little while to get in.

    Upscale Pet Grooming
I took my daughter's husky mix there to get a shave down. Nothing fancy, just short cut all over. She was apprehensive about having this done but I convinced her to go ahead with it. The dog would be cooler, less shedding (she had a 6 mo. old baby) and would just look like a short haired dog and the hair would grow back fine. When we picked up this dog, I was horrified and I dont know if she ever forgave me for this. It looked like they had chopped his hair off with a dull pair of scissors. His hair was either cut down to the skin or anywhere to 3 inches long. There was not a smooth cut anywhere on his body. He looked horrible. I dont know how they have stayed in business this long!

    Upscale Pet Grooming
One poodle had uneven gaps in her hair on the back of her neck. The other had uneven trimming on her face, with an area about the size of a dime that was completely uncut. Both dogs had their nails trimmed, but the remaining edges were very rough and had sharp edges. Also, I haven't had dogs trimmed in this area before, but the price seemed very high compared to what I was used to paying in Kentucky....$45.00 each here compared to $30.00 in Kentucky.

    MONUMENT ROAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL
We left our dog for four nights. When we returned he was foul smelling and appeared traumatized. Since that time we used a dog sitter to visit our house and tend to his needs. In January of this year, 2008, he passed at the age of 14 1/2.
