    Atta-Boy Plumbing LLC
The bill for these three services was almost $500, and yet the total time the plumber took to perform the services was a little over an hour. Assuming that the toilet parts cost them about $20, and the garbage disposal costs them about $100, this was a $300 charge for about an hour of labor. $85 for labor is about standard. I'm disappointed.

    Steves Service
Steve was wonderful. He is very honest and knowledgeable. His work is very detailed and thorough. He was great with communications and showed up every time he said he would. His prices were very reasonable and he did not try to create more work than was needed for the job. I will definitely be calling Steve for other jobs in the future.

    ARS / Rescue Rooter Charleston
I fixed leak by tightening but. He agreed no leak. Said $210 to replace pipe and spigot . I declined. Changed $49. Five minutes with me and five minutes to write bill and estimate. Had to get plumber because of house inspection before the sale.

    Dyson Plumbing Services
We needed our water and gas reconnected after having new countertops installed. Steven was so great about working us in even though the countertop installers kept changing when they would be there. Also very reasonable price. I will definitely use again for any plumbing needs!

    Atta-Boy Plumbing LLC
Finally, someone who A) answers the phone, B) shows up on time, C) doesn't charge ridiculous prices, and D) does good work. Any future plumbing needs will be handled by Atta-Boy plumbing. I don't know what it is about Charleston, but trying to find any type of contractor or tradesman to do any work, who will actually show up when they say they will, is ridiculously hard. I went through several plumbers, who either didn't call back, didn't show up when they said they would, or wanted almost double to do the exact same work. I'm so glad that I tried another round and found these guys!

    Kessler Plumbing LLC
Called Kessler this morning and they said they would call me today when they were 30 to 20 minutes away from the house. I only found out about the leak this Saturday and I have to leave town tomorrow so it was great that Kessler could do the work today. Tyrone, the technician, was friendly, professional, thorough and on time, I appreciated the fact that he was able to come today, New Year's Eve, while others could not.

    Plumb Pro
My concern is price, as i see others have commented on. If price is important, I might suggest you get quotes from others to compare. I was under time constraints and went with Plumb Pro based on Angie reviews. I will not use them again strictly because of price. They were on my property for 25 minutes, used maybe $20 in parts and my bill was $239. I complained to the tech and he dropped it to $215. I thought my cost might be around $125 tops. I called the office to give them an opportunity to adjust the price and the office manager refused.

    ARS / Rescue Rooter Charleston
Repairman only gave reasons why he couldnt fix things. Had to ask him to leave. First, he only glanced at my expensive sink faucet and said Id have to put in a new faucet because he didnt have any parts for that one. I complained that he didnt even know what was wrong with it yet. He replied that once he touched it I would be paying his rate, like this was a threat I was gonna have to cough up big bucks if I wanted him to even diagnose the problem. Since his first immediate solution to fix my lovely farm sink faucet was to replace it with some basic thing he had on his truck, I declined to have him look at it further and opted to just do the emergency repair: fix my hot water heater. At the heater, he took one look and said hed never seen one like mine. (I live in a major development where everyone has one like mine.) it was going to take a long time to get a new control box he speculated, without doing any investigation. He said I could just put in a new one, but he couldnt do any of that work that evening. It would take a very long time to drain, etc.etc. I was upset. Asked him to leave. He wanted to stay and argue. Told me we could go in my house and he would call Rheem, the water heater company, with me to discuss my water heater with them. This was after hours. Ive never had a repairman want to look up a company number and call them with me in my house. Bizarre. I asked him to leave a couple more times and he did finally. I had called ARS Thursday morning to set up an appointment for Friday afternoon. They gave me 12 to 5. I asked if they would be able to replace a water heater in that time if it was determined that was needed. I was told yes then, and they guaranteed the same thing again when I called ARS twice on late Friday afternoon to find out where the plumber was. Dont worry, theyll be able to do it then, I was told. But the guy didnt show up until after 5pm and now wasnt going to fix either of my issues. AND it was now too late to get another plumber out that night or weekend without paying emergency rates. Absolutely horrible service.

Jim and Cinnamon were great to work with. From the time of the initial proposal through completion, they were already there to answer the numerous questions I had around the irrigation or sod. On the first day of work Jim arrived early that morning and walked me through once more the plan and steps being taken before his crew arrived. I asked for a last minute addition of a drainage line to be put in and he accommodated with no questions asked. Jim's crew was top notch with their work and was there to show me how to use the irrigation or answer any last minute questions I had. They worked tirelessly through the multiple day project always ensuring quality was in the forefront. I am so happy with the outcome I am already looking into adding a new hardscape patio using them.

    Enviroscape Landscaping
The installation was not done properly I have had water leak since installation 10 Feb. They did not terminate the lines at the end, but just bend them. Called him several times and emailed Frank and he has been a no show. Definitely, do not recommend this company.
