We had an incident where a pair of glasses were damaged and Keith got them fixed for us the same day. He also repaired a pair of sunglasses for me. I just ordered a pair of eyeglasses from them today. Wonderful customer service!

    I've been there twice for an annual eye exam. My doctor has been Dr. Jean Silecchia. I can't say enough good things about her. Answer each question and I never felt like she was rushing to get me out the door. The staff is beyond friendly.

    I really enjoyed my experience at Ocean Eye in Summerville!! The office atmosphere was really laid back with reggae music playing. I was so comfortable, I almost fell asleep! They fixed my old glasses, that I didn't even purchase from them, and had a GREAT selection of new glasses. I definitely will be going back :))

    everyone was very pleasant and timely.  the digital retina screening means you do not have your eyes dialated.  that is sooo nice.  then they take the time to go thru the frames to help select the ones that are right for you.  very happy

    After looking over my order when we got home I realized at that time I was grossly ripped off. (I still am angry that I let Sears Optical do this to me.) When I went to pick up my glasses on May 29, 2010 I asked the young lady that was taking care of me to explain the return policy to me. (my order paperwork said 90 day satisfaction guarantee OR your money back). After she adjusted my glasses with pliers & screw driver, she said if you are NOT 100% happy you can get 100% back. However if there is one little mark scratch etc. they will NOT take them back. After shopping at a few other stores in the mall I realized I needed to return the glasses then & there. (as she was using tools on the glasses that could void by 100% guarantee) I went back to Sears and was taken care of by the store manager (I would NOT call this woman a manager at all) BJ. I told her I wanted to return both pairs of glasses. She asked why I told her I wasn't 100% happy with them. In my opinion that was all I needed to say. She asked if I wanted to look at another frame I said No thank you. She became very upset & started acting like a child. (really) I asked if she needed my credit card she said NO and said it so everyone in the store could hear. She then said she would have to go to the office to get my money as they don't credit back to your card. (never heard of that) she stated you may have to wait a LONG time for me to return. (BJ that is) She was very rude I told her very nicely there was no reason for her to treat me that way. She returned in about 15 minutes with cash in hand. She pounded on her computer keys (really pounded) when she was done she tossed my $580.46 at me & said you can count it if you want as I am NOT going to count it for you. By this time my blood was boiling...but I somehow managed to keep my cool. (I so wanted to say a few choice words to her) By this time several customers watching her behave like she was walked out of the store. She then informed me that she put a note in her computer that Sears Optical NEVER sell me another pair of glasses.... I said you don't have to worry about that as I will NEVER step foot in "your" store again. The young lady that had taken care of me (I didn't get her name) was mortified at her managers actions. I have filed a complaint with Sears Corporate Headquarters. The behavior of BJ was totally uncalled for. I have been a manager for many years and would NEVER treat any of my customers in such a manner as I was treated. By the way I have only worn Sears glasses for the past 20 years BUT will never again purchase from Sears, not just Optical but anything any department!!!
