    BEWARE! Lack of communication from the beginning. She said she had to have emergency hand surgery, so I let it go. Also, when she refers to scheduling her ���crew���, she means she, her husband and children. When they finally did my initial yard work, the whole ���crew��� came and did a good job, therefore I gave them an A rating. Two weeks later, with no communication, she sent her 3 young girls with their electric lawnmower. They never raked the clippings, although I told them where the bags were that I bought, and weed eated only half my yard. They said their Mom was having hand surgery.... Again? Bottom line I did not contract with 3 young girls and I should have been notified prior to them just showing up. But I let it go. Now here we are 2 weeks later. Yesterday I tried to confirm by text and phone they would be here. She never responded. At 8:30 this morning she informed me she had a flat and was waiting on AAA to bring a tire. She was confusing as she said she was away from home to she hadn���t left, and then It was 2 tires that ���popped��� from road debris, to her finally telling me it was a specialty tire and was out of stock at 4pm. So, which story is true, if any, I will never know. I went on to write a review and saw that yesterday another person gave her an F for no communication and a no show so this seems to be the norm. What is sad is I am disabled and cannot do the work anymore and now I am stuck with all the hurricane debris in my yard. I will never use them again, and if you need someone dependable, this is not the ���yard crew��� for you.

    I requested a quote online and I was contacted less than 3 minutes later with a customized quote. The workers showed up on time as scheduled and were friendly. I described as exactly what I wanted to be accomplished. I���m happy to say they exceeded every expectation. Thankfully, I don���t have look any further for exceptional service as they are now hired.

    Tony Gralski was the 6th person to address my front yard fountain malfunction. He got it right! Built a custom manifold, was super responsive, and for all that work was reasonably priced. Finally have a working fountain after 2+ years and multiple other people's (failed) attempts at repair. He's my fountain hero. Also regularly does my sprinkler Backflow inspections. From now on, my 'go to' guy for solving problems.

    I don���t typically give all 5 stars reviews, but Charleston Stump Stompers and Tree Service is truly worthy of it. We needed three trees removed (including one 40 foot pine tree) and stump grinded, a bush stump grinded and our front trees pruned. This order was made during the frequent storms we had late in 2018. Your ground needs to be pretty dry in order to prevent damage from the equipment needed to roll into your yard. Communication is very critical to me in regards to a company���s performance (almost as important as quality of service). This company���s communication is excellent as they went above and beyond to keep me informed about possible dates (due to weather), proposing to shift schedules to work with me and always make me feel like Priority #1. Their quality of work was outstanding and my yard looked even better than when they started. The staff is very friendly, local and down to Earth. Highly recommended! I have no problem recommending this company to neighbors asking about my tree work.

    Everything went perfect. They came out promptly for the estimate, and once hired, they immediately took care of everything that had to be done prior to removing the tree. As soon as the permit was issued, they set a time and did the work efficiently. The work was amazing and the clean-up was awesome. I was in awe of how quickly and nicely everything was done. Very nice staff and they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Pricing was also a major plus - great price, wonderful quality! I have so many great things to say about this company and their work! Would highly recommend to anyone who needs similar services.

    Bad. I don't understand what happened because this company has all good ratings. 6/11/2018 - requested services via Angie's List - within 5 minutes of hitting "submit" on Angie's list - Albert called - and was the ONLY tree service to call me - came out same day to evaluate situation and provided an estimate informed me about city and forestry permits/evaluations - that he would take care of - asked if securing permits was a lengthy process and I asked if he needed $ up front for permits / the work and he responded no to all really liked this gentleman - firm handshake - seemed sincere and like a very hard worker - tend to business / honest man - he requested HOA information - which I sent within an hour of Albert leaving - no word from him - no communication - even a word to let me know he was backed up with work, family crisis, tired, SOMETHING. 7/1/2018 - sent him a friendly text requesting an update - told him no need to respond until after the 4th of July holiday and hoped he was getting some relaxation time - responded almost immediately - that he had not forgotten me - was waiting on forestry to come out here and get back with him 8/1/2018 - had again ... heard nothing from Albert - so I just sent a text with "????" in body - to date - no reply - please note - I am not an unreasonable person - I am patient, kind, understanding, appreciative 8/2/2018 - submitted another request on Angie's List :( (NOTE: below where it asks for approx cost of service - it has been awhile and I can't remember exact estimate - and estimate was based on City and Forestry permissions/permits)

    There was some back & forth communication with Mr Lopez. On more than one occasion he said he'd show to provide a quote, but then I'd have to follow up. On one conversation, I mentioned I had only one quote so far, for $300. I also provided photos of what I needed an estimate on. He finally got around to seeing my yard, and when we spoke, he quoted me $350. This was AFTER saying he'd beat whatever price. So I politely said I'd go with the other, cheaper company. He then turned around and said $250. It was starting to feel shady to me. So I asked that he email me the estimate outlining the work & price. He then starts claiming that I don't want him to do the work. I finally said if that's what he wants to hear, that's fine, but that's not what I'm saying. I simply wanted it in writing. The call ended with him agreeing to do so. He then calls back a day or so later saying he can't do the work after all, he's just too busy. Right.

    I found the review on Angie's List and called shortly after 8:45am on Monday morning, speaking to a gentleman I'd assume was Sonny the owner. I explained I had overgrown shrubbery in my front yard, and asked if he could provide an estimate. He said he could, and asked that I text him my address, that he'd be by at some point Monday. I told him I'd also send pics of what needed attention and he seemed to appreciate that. Monday ends and around 8pm I text explaining I'm having a hard time having people actually provide estimates, and if I don't need to be home, please feel free to come by! I also said I'd be ready to hire someone as soon as I could at least get two estimates. No response. So Tuesday morning, shortly after 11am, I sent a text asking if he'd be providing an estimate or if I should look elsewhere. No response hours later. If I have to chase someone down to give them work, then my work must not mean much to them. Had I paid attention to the negative reviews, I would have seen he's got a pattern of disappearing on folks... and always has a "good excuse" for poor customer service. COMMUNICATION is a key component of good customer service!!
