Dr. Overcash is AMAZING!  He is the nicest and most knowledgeable doctor!!  His staff is very friendly too.  Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait for him....but it's completely worth it!

I have a throat condition called subglottic stenosis. My trachea closes and the physicians

have to do surgery to open it up. This is a condition that I'll have to deal with the rest of my

life probably about once a year. This is very rare and MUSC is the only hospital in the state

that can perform the surgery. Since finding out about it I've had knee replacement and

lithotripsy done on my kidney stones. I've been very pleased with the care I received.

Appointment was right on time. I had several pre-cancer's removed and two biopsies done. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my appointment. I received a call back on the biopsies in a very timely manner. I have been going here for several years and will continue to do so.

Dermatology & Laser Center of Charleston
Beautiful facility with large waiting area and very clean exam rooms. Dr Donnelley was punctual, approachable and performed a thorough exam. I liked her and will go back. Note - it is a very busy Dermatology practice and it may take some time to get an appointment.

    Lowcountry Dermatology
A coworker had recommended Dr. Cynthia Wilson at Lowcountry Dermatology. After previously seeing several other Dermatologists in the area, without being completely satisfied, I decided to give her a try. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early and did not have to wait very long to be seen. The nurse (or medical assistant?) was very nice and asked me about my medical history. I did not have to wait long after that to see Dr. Wilson. She completed a thorough exam and was very nice and informative. I will definitely be returning for my annual exam or if any problems should arise in between.

Over the course of 4 in-office treatments and prescription for prolonged care, the skin issues have improved.
I would recommend them as they provide thorough care and have a very nice office and staff.
The cost for all treatments were discussed before hand and no additional costs were incurred.

    Kearse, Dr. Henry L.
I have been going to Dr. Kearse for 4 years for skin cancer screening every 6 months. He is very caring, professional, and has a great
bedside manner. Unfortunately he missed a basal cell on my nose. I had a raised red spot on my nose that I pointed out to him
and he told me it was nothing. One year later I again complained about the spot and I told him it would bleed occassionally. He biopsied the site and it was confirmed as a basal cell. I had to have extensive tissue removed and a graft. My concern is that he should have biopsied the site intitially since I have a history of basal cell carcinomas. He also missed a basal cell on my lip.
I do think Dr. Kearse is a fine person and physician but with this experience I felt I needed to move my dermatology care to another physician.

    Pearon Lang MD
He's an older man and he really knows his stuff. He remembers my situation and what's going on, and always asks about my husband. He's is a no-nonsense guy. He diagnosed me when two or three other doctors couldn't. I only had to wait about five minutes to see him.

    Jacobs, Dr. Jon R.
It went very well. The appointment started on time, and Dr. Jacobs was very professional. He checked the growth, said it was per-cancerous and removed it same day. He also checked my skin for others, found 2 more and removed them as well. He now does follow up for both myself and my husband. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see him. He has a wonderful bedside manner.

DR. Jacobs removed the moles fast and efficiently. Happy with the treatment I received and will continue to go to Dr. Jacobs for dermatological needs.
