    Commonwealth Contracting LLC
A large tree fell on my home during storm & I hired another contractor to complete repairs which included replacing 9-12 rafters/sheathing/shingles, re-building small front porch & adding 3 windows to sunroom. Original contractor installed the windows & did a lot of work on the roof but were very slow & work was sub-par.....they also had issues getting project permitted & I finally had to let them go. I was in a real bind to get repairs completed as I was in the middle of re-financing house when the storm hit. I contacted Commonwealth & they were able to come out & assess what needed to be done. They got the permits right away & got started. Most of the previous work had to be re-done....they removed the windows & added headers & proper support & re-installed, repaired roof & re-built front porch. All work was done professionally & in a timely manner. Also installed interior trim (baseboards/windowsills/frame) in sunroom, which I requested at the last minute, so house would be ready for appraisal. They did a nice job matching the original trim on older home. Would definitely hire again.

    COX CRAFTSMAN
DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN UNLESS YOU WANT NOTHING BUT HEADACHES! It was a nightmare from the start.  He came out on a Sunday and removed 3 out of 4 of our countertops and took out our kitchen sink.  He said he would be back the next day with the new countertops (we provided him with the plywood, laminate, and contact cement).  Six days later, he still had not been back to install them.  I could write a book with all the excuses he had.  On Friday, he finally came with 2 other guys and removed the 4th countertop and dropped off the countertops he made.  When I got home from work and saw the new countertops, I was extremely upset.  They were very poor quality - ragged edges, crooked lines, seams in FRONT on all countertops, a big crack on one. I did not want him to come back and install these in my kitchen.  On Saturday, we fired him and are now left with no countertops in our kitchen and the sink was not put back. We spent $900.00 on this project and have nothing to show for up except a kitchen that's all torn up.  Now, we have to hire a carpenter to replace the wood he broke around the sink and all the trim he broke before we can even get someone else to install countertops for us.  He will sweet talk you but do you use this man unless you want to be out a lot of money and have an unfinished project on your hands.

    Hurricane Power Washing
From the first phone call to the last handshake, Al and his team were well-spoken, prompt and knowledgeable. They scheduled us for a quote immediately, arrived on time, and gave us clear expectations of time frame and workflow. Al is personable and professional, he and his team are obviously experienced professionals. He didn't subcontract a single aspect of the project, and did a good bit of work himself with a team member. Al is personally involved in every job, which keeps costs down (no subcontractor) and quality high (he's a perfectionist). Over the days he spent working on our house I started to think of him as a friend more than a contractor. He isn't a pushy salesman at all, but no matter your job he can probably do it. He even gave us tips on how to DIY a few smaller projects. This guy and his team definitely have the customer's best interests at heart. I will use Hurricane Powerwashing again and again. Just make sure you're getting the right one! Another company is using the name Hurricane Landscaping & Powerwashing, but they're based out of Philadelphia. I'm so lucky to have found this company and would recommend them to absolutely ANYONE who needs work done on their home.

    Affordable Handyman and Painting Services
It went great they were here at 8:00 am every morning and went right to work. They worked as a team and completed there daily goals plus. The contractor Dave was courteous beyond a fault and his whole crew bent over back words to keep us comfortable during a whole house renovation. One of his crew  ( Mitch ) went above and beyond on a daily basis for us. The rest of the guys were great and did an outstanding job.  They cleaned up every afternoon before leaving at the end of the day.
    They were Great!!!!!!!!

TERRIBLE... NEVER CALL AGAIN.. THE CONTRACTOR SHOWED UP THE FIRST TIME AND TOLD US HE COULD NOT GIVE US AN ESTIMATE BECAUSE OF ALL THE INSULATION UNDER THE HOUSE-I THOUGHT ALL HOUSES WERE INSULATED..
BUT FOR A CHARGE.. HE COULD REMOVE IT FOR US. HE WAS ANNOYED WHEN WE TOLD HIM WE HAD A HANDYMAN THAT COULD THIS FOR US.  I WK LATER I CALLED ON MONDAY TO HAVE ELAMS SEND SOMEONE OUT AGAIN AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT HIM RIGHT AWAY. SO THURSDAY I CALLED BACK TO SEE WHEN HE WAS COMING SHE THOUGHT HE HAD ALREADY BEEN OUT BUT CALLED HIM AGAIN..HE SHOWED UP  THAT SAME DAY AROUND DARK 6:30 PM ISH WITH IN 15 MIN HE HAD FINISHED AND WAS WAS ON MY BACK PORCH LETTING ME KNOW THAT HE COULDNT DO THE INSPECTION BECAUSE OF ALL THE INSULATION STILL BEING THERE  AND WE SHOULD HAVE LET HIM REMOVE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. HE WAS VERY ANNOYED..UNKNOWING TO HIM I HAD OUR GUY TAKE PHOTOS OF UNDER THE HOUSE BEFORE AND AFTER THE REMOVAL OF THE INSULATION. SO I KNEW HE WAS LIEING..HIM AND THE GUY THAT WAS WITH HIM HAD NO FLASHLIGHT -IT WAS DARK BY NOW- AND SMELLED LIKE BEER. THEY WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT COMING OUT AGAIN..

The Superior Service Construction Company Inc
The termite company was paying for repairs to the den. Additional repairs were needed than originally anticipated. Frank, the owner of the company told me it would cost about $1500 and the termite company was only going to pay $1000 towards the repairs which upset me greatly and pressured me into making decisions on the spot. Come to find out he told the termite company $1000 and told me $1500. I had also hired him to tear the paneling off the other two walls and do any repairs to the drywall behind it. I also caught in him a more than one lie about what work he actually did. He conned me into me buying and doing all the painting and most of the trim work that needed to be replaced that was originally in the quote for the termite company. So he conned them to, but they didn't know it. I didn't really check the drywall before I paid him the final sum I owed him. What a mistake. The drywall mudding was the worst I've ever seen. Most places hadn't even been sanded and the seams were speed bumps. I emailed him to let him that I wasn't happy with the work and he said to call him to discuss "my problem". From the time he came in the door until the time he left, it was one untruth after another. I do not recommend him under any condition.

Eddie was extremely easy to work with and accepted his responsiblity totally. We depended on him to guide us in the complex process of building our first home. He was knowledgeble in every facet of homebuilding and made things easy to understand. The hundreds of decisions we had to make were facilitated by his honest opionions. He made he whole process a pleasurable one and we would recommend him to anyone considering building or remodeing a home.

Jimmy was always on time and worked efficiently. He is very conscious about cleaning up after himself at the end of every day. And his work is very precise. He charges fair prices and I would use him again for any work around my house.
