    Magnolia OB/GYN
This was baby number three and because I have lived in different states for each child I have had different OB/GYNs for each. Magnolia and specifically Dr. Golden, Norah Nutter and Dr. Nelson were my favorite. Given my age (over 35) and history of c-sections (2 previous) I was a high risk pregnancy. They treated me with respect, answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Dr. Golden's bedside manner is fabulous. She made it easy.

    Magnolia OB/GYN
On my 1st visit to Magnolia OB/GYN, the young girl at the front desk asked me for my insurance card. I explained that I was in the process of getting new health insurance coverage required because of moving from NC to SC. She promptly told me that I needed proof of health insurance before she could talk with me. On my 2nd visit about 8 days later, I spoke with her again and explained that I had signed up for health insurance coverage and had been accepted and was waiting for my new insurance card to arrive. She was very rude to me and explicitly said that she could still not help me. After getting my health insurance card, I went to the office again and spoke with this same girl. She took my card and handed it to an older lady in the office who rudely told me that they did not accept any new Medicare patients... period. They both turned away from me completely ignoring me and did not offer any explanation. I am 67 years old and feel like I was discriminated against because of my age and Medicare coverage. My new health insurance is with a respectable provider. I will never go back to this office again. I do not recommend this gynecology office to senior citizens. I have found another gynecologist who is providing great health care for meh.

Sometimes you can't get in for a week or two, but that seems normal. The only time it's bothered me is when I had a UTI and they said something was going on and a lot of the doctors were out so they had no emergency appointments until the following week. So they told me to go to a Minute Clinic or Emergency Care center. Hopefully, that was a fluke.
Appointments don't always run on time. But once you're in the exam room, it moves along in a timely manner. She comes in to talk to you while you're clothed, which is nice. Then you change for the exam.
The practice is fantastic at setting up appointments for you when you need a mammogram or specialist. They're also great at staying on top of you to come back in if you need a follow-up appointment.
My one ongoing issue with them is they don't send the postcard like every other OB/GYN I've ever had to let you know when pap tests are normal. They simply say if there's an issue, they'll call. But to me, that postcard is a double-check that someone actually saw the results and they were normal. I know I can call and check. But it seems like they're being cheap in this regard.

    Magnolia OB/GYN
Magnolia OB/GYN scheduled an appointment within a week of my initial phone call. They did the check up and ordered the mammogram without any issues. All staff were very pleasant and courteous. I felt very comfortable in their care and appreciate them welcoming me into their practice.

    Magnolia OB/GYN
Pain in my left breast. Dr. Golden took all steps to explain the problem, full examination and further tests which are still in process. Trustworthy.
I have been seeing Dr. Tracey Golden since 2004. I was new to Myrtle Beach and needed a hysterectomy. I went to see Dr. Golden. She gets high marks in knowledge, experience, great bedside manner and would highly recommend her to anyone who's just starting out or an older patient. Excellent doctor in an excellent environment.

    Coastal Grande OB/GYN
Dr Spielvogel was awesome; very personable and easy to talk to. Truely listened and seemed to genuinely care. I called on Monday for an appointment and they were able to work me in that week with my busy schedule. Would definately go back and glad to find a provider in the area that I'm comfortable with!!!

They seem to always be on time. They never make us wait and follow up very well. We have never had any problems with them. The doctors all seem very knowledgable, are nice and have great bedside manor.

    Magnolia OB/GYN
A very busy practice, the parking lot was 1/2 full as was the waiting room but it was still a comfortable environment. I cannot speak about their OB practice but for general Gyno services, I would recommend this practice.

    Magnolia OB/GYN
I only saw a doctor 1 time during all of my treatment there. The rest of the appointments I was only seeing a nurse practitioner, which is ok sometimes, but they never offered me another chance to see a doctor during the last 3 months of my care. I didn't see this as acceptable.

I also had to wait about an hour multiple times for appointments. Twice they called me to reschedule my own appointment, left a message saying they were changing the time/date, and just told me to call them back if that did not work. I did not think this was considerate of them.

When I was 13 weeks pregnant, the nurse practitioner told me and quot;oh, by the way, we are required by law to offer first trimester/second trimester screening tests to all women now, not just women over the age of 35, but if you want this done it has to be done this week. !!?!? So I had to rearrange my schedule to have the screening done 3 days later, thank goodness they had a single opening in their schedule for me to have the test.

I had to go through financial counseling twice because the gal goofed up my paperwork, and they were charging me fees for things that I was not supposed to have to pay for. It ended up getting worked out, but it took a lot of time and hassle, and it demonstrated to me that they did not have their act together at the front desk.

In general, none of the staff were polite/friendly, none seemed happy to be there, and they seemed overworked in general.
