    Cardinal Landscaping & Concrete
BUYER BEWARE! - this company is a joke. I had my backyard slab enlarged. They poured it right over one of my lawn sprinklers. Didn't even bother to make me aware of the situation. I could have simply capped it. Now, water flows out of the expansion joint. He leaves his tools all over the place, equipment trailers in the street for days. This company did a few more slabs in the neighborhood and they aren't satisfied either.. He has a high turnover of employees and you're rolling the dice hoping he's got guys who know what they're doing.

Master Care - The Cheaper Tree Co
    1) Accepted offer May 23, 2018 to construct an approx. 350 sq. ft. colored concrete patio. Informed that work would begin within 10-12 days and should take 2 days to complete. 2) Sent e-mail on June 1 expressing concern that there had been no correspondence or calls since acceptance on May 23. 3) Got an e-mail reply on June 4 that it looked like it would be mid-June before they would start the job. 4) On Tues. June 5 I replied that mid-June was very vague and that timeframe would not work for me. I reminded them of our agreement that I needed the job completed no later than June 15 as I had relatives visiting from overseas who were arriving the weekend of June 16-17 and we would be traveling while they were here. In this e-mail, I told them that if they would not be able to meet the agreed upon completion date, to please cancel the project and I would explore options later in the year. 5) On Friday, June 8 I got an e-mail reply that Yes, they WOULD be able to complete the patio by June 15 and they would be showing up to begin the work the next day. 6) On Sat. June 9, a 2-man crew showed up at 10:15 and worked until 4:15 (less a one hour lunch break when they left the site) removing existing stones and pavers, mulch, rocks, and a couple bushes, and partially tearing up an existing 4 X 8 ft. concrete slab porch. They told me they would be returning Monday (which they did not) so as per our agreement, I paid them half of the total due after completion of the first day's work, $1500. 7) On Tues. June 12, the same 2-man crew showed up at 1:30 and worked until only 4:30, moving dirt then left saying NOTHING about returning. 8) Wed. June 13 I e-mailed my concerns about their promise to finish the project by June 15 and lack of progress. 9) I got a voicemail reply later that day AGAIN assuring that the work WOULD be completed by June 15, the THIRD such assurance they had given. 10) On Fri. June 15, the day they had promised to have the job completed, the same 2-man crew showed up at 2:00, moved around more dirt, then left at 3:30 when a storm came through. There again was no mention of returning. 11) On Tues. June 19, a DIFFERENT 2-man crew showed up at 10:00, discussed with me exactly how they were going to finish the job, did some more ground leveling, then left abruptly at 12:30 with no notice. 12) After June 19, NO ONE EVER RETURNED TO COMPLETE THE JOB. So after obtaining payment for half the total due for a completed patio ($1500), they abandoned the job leaving a mud pit and partially-demolished existing concrete slab porch. Further attempts to contact by phone and e-mail have been ignored as this company NEVER returns phone calls, only responding with brief, one-line e-mails. 13) My last e-mail to them on July 2 expressed my amazement and disgust that any business that claims to be professional, legitimate, and licensed would operate in this manner. I also requested a refund of HALF of my payment of $1500 based on failure to complete the project, minimal amount or time and work actually done at my residence, and the condition they left the property. As expected, I have NEVER received a refund or any response. 14) If you investigate further, as I have done too late, there are other reviews going back a few years indicating that this is not the first time this company started a project then abandoned it before completion once they had obtained a partial payment.

    Keystone Concrete Finishing
Called Bryan on a Friday and he came out on Saturday for an estimate. Job included finishing prep on an area previously started and never finished by another contractor, pouring concrete to which he added a color chosen by me, and stamping a stone-like texture, then sealing. Because he had a delay on a job scheduled for Monday, he said he could have his crew there around 8 am to start and would probably finish in a day. I agreed and at 8 am Monday a crew of 4 plus Bryan were at my home to begin. In less than 8 hours, they had the patio poured and stamped. They returned Tuesday to seal the concrete. Extremely prompt and reliable as well as professional. Would definitely recommend Keystone Concrete and Bryan to anyone for a concrete project.

    Universal Concrete
Great family owned company with attention to detail. Universal Concrete did an amazing job building the large concrete patio around our new pool and also by applying the Kool Crete top coating. What a great product. Even on the hottest days the patio is cool to the touch. The project was done on time and reasonably priced. Very hard working crew.

Very professional company. After they completed the concrete around my pool and fire pit, they also did any amazing job on my landscaping. They installed 6 palm trees, 40 other plants, river rock, up-lighting for the trees, and sod. Very hard working crew that is focused on customer satisfaction with great prices.

Brothers Pool Plastering Repair and Renovation
I highly recommend this company! They came in and cleaned up after a previous pool company made an absolute mess of our pool.. It was empty for 6 months, full of debris, and they would not return my calls or emails. I called Brothers Pool and met with Alexis and Raymond the next day. They were prompt, professional, and genuinely disgusted with the mess the previous company had left. Within weeks, we were enjoying our beautiful pool! They were very creative with the placing of tiles and the plaster is flawless. They even resurfaced the concrete decking surrounding the pool which looks better than ever!

    Waccamaw Concrete LLC
From the first phone call to Brian and the completed project took no time at all. Minutes after we hired him for the job he was on the phone checking on the proper permits. He was professional at all times and showed up promptly. The job was reasonably priced and the finished project was just what we wanted. We highly recommend Waccamaw Concrete LLC for your next project.
